PETA plans to launch a brand new billboard to get cats and dogs spay or neutered. Whoever created this campaign is after controversy by featuring Tiger Woods and his infidelity problems.

Killer Whale Kills Its Trainer at Orlando SeaWorld

The audience at the Orlando SeaWorld got more than they bargained for at a killer whale show. They witnessed the violent death of a female trainer when Tillikum, the killer whale, came out of the water and grabbed her by the waist and started thrashing around.

Apparently, this female trainer isn’t Tilly’s first victim. There were two others that were drown by Tilly. (via LA Times)

I bet you’ll think twice before bringing your little ones to a killer whale show next time.

Do you love Sushi but always on the go? Ever crave for Sushi but you are at a concert?

Fear not, Sushi Popper is here for you!
This invention allows you to take pre-sliced Sushi with you everywhere. All you need to do is push from the bottom and eat from the top.

But where do soy sauce and wasabi go??

Personally, I think this is a good idea but weird. I am ok with the bento-style Sushi box. I like to be able to see my Sushi and eat them with soy sauce, pickled ginger and wasabi.

2010 Winter Olympics Fashion

I enjoy watching the Winter Olympics in Canada despite the tragic death of Nodar Kumaritashvili. I also can’t help but smile whenever I hear the commentator yell out “Crikey!”

However, while watching these intense, high-speed skiing events, I can’t help but get distracted by the ugly ski uniforms the Americans are wearing. Come on! The USA team is representing the great nation of America and the best we can come up with is this pajama-like design? The USA team is seen by millions and millions of people all around the world and we are dashing through the snow in THAT?

Is this the best uniform we can come up with? Urgh!

Dear Team USA uniform designers,
Please stop embarrassing our athletics with those dull, unflattering, pajama uniforms! Learn to use some happier and inspiring colors and patterns!

Super Bowl 44 Commercials

While I am not a major football fan, I am fairly immersed in the football culture; therefore, Super Bowl is like a national holiday in my household. The perks of watching Super Bowl includes lots of snacking, drinking, more eating and judging ridiculously-expensive commercials… oh right and the actual game itself.

After sitting through four hours of non-stop television, only a few commercial spots jump out at me, which means they did a very memorable job. Out of those few memorable ads, there are two that made the most impression with me: The Doritos® Gym Ninja and Megan Fox.

Now, between those two, the successful commercial is the Doritos® one since I actually do remember what it is selling. On the other hand, the Megan Fox one, while memorable, did not do its job. All I remember is Megan Fox in a bathtub with a cell phone. What does it really sell, I can’t remember. So that is a fail in my book.

Betty White is probably one of the most unexpected celebrity to appear in a Super Bowl commercial, which is what made this Snickers ad fun!

Special mentions:
I thought “How I Met Your Mother” Call Barney Stinson TV spot was pretty awesome too.

The most talked-about commercial may just have to go to the one from CBS involving David Letterman, Jay Leno and Oprah.

On a different note, was I the only one who was worried that The Who weren’t going to be able to finish the half-time show?? I mean really, they look so old and about to collapse! And the guitar guy needs to put on MORE clothes!

Leave it to the Japanese folks to come up with this ingenious idea. Pet Cafes are popping up like rabbits in Japan for people who want to have play time with cute animals. This one in particular is for bunnies. You can have your meal and pet bunnies all at the same place!

More importantly, you can bring your own bunny there so that it can socialize with other bunnies. How awesome is that!
