Meanwhile they have not shut air traffic down and so how far has this deadly flu spread around the world? This has hemorrhagic components to it - a fear of mine - that this swine Flu would mutate and become deadly around sometime this winter. Put this with the economic collapse yada yada yada and we have trouble.

You must be able to self-quarantine yourself and your families for an extended period of time. That means have all that you will need to last you for a minimum of 4 weeks or longer so you do not have to go out for anything should the virus turn up here and be nasty.

Most of the mainstream media has dropped much following on the H1N1 (swine) flu, but you need to know that researchers, the CDC and the WHO haven't dropped their following of it. This virus, while not showing itself to be particularly severe here in the US - at least not yet- is still one that demands our attention and respect.

Here are a few updates you should be aware of - just from today:

Dragging butt today and yesterday-wasn't sure WHY until I realized that I have not drank my Enerfood drink for 3 days, duh. I will be drinking it today for sure as I can really tell when I don't have it - soo tired. Anyhoo...

Okay, let's see, I am starting to think that this may blow over for a SHORT TIME but you see they now have everything in place. Anon poster called it right - wanted to see which way the wind was blowing. I have to go back to what Napolitano stated at the beginning of the week that there will be another virus, worse than this one. Seems like a whole lotta hoopla for not many deaths so far. Yet, at the same time Mexico is down playing the flu there, our confirmed cases (140) are increasing and affect 19 states. And, notice how the borders remain open and then the government does not want border agents to where masks unless they are in direct contact with someone that is sick. Doesn't that seem a little strange to most of you? If I was an agent, I would want to wear a mask the whole time I was on the job. Shouldn't the government be more worried about the safety of the agents as opposed to whether or not they hurt anyone's feelings?

And if you notice in this article how the term has suddenly switched from "pandemic" to "scare?" Seems as though they are switching gears a little now in their linguistic descriptions. We shall see - I just hope that we have a little more time to prepare.

I want you all to notice as well that even mainstream media has been talking about Martial Law, quarantine camps and forced inoculations. Preparing everyone???

What I am afraid of is that this virus will recombine (change) now that it is out there and meanwhile they will start soon to push their vaccine and begin inoculating people around the world and if effect make this more deadly. That is my gut talking, but that may buy us a little time, though of us that are not stupid enough to fall for it. They most likely will not make it a mandatory vaccine at first - they will sucker many millions in though and that may set the stage for a real pandemic.

All the while, the economy is falling off the cliff.

This truly may end up being the Summer of Hell.

Yesterday, the World Health Organization raised its pandemic alert for swine flu to the second highest level, meaning that it believes a global outbreak of the disease is imminent. Matthew Rothschild at The Progressive asks the question, “Will NorthCom take over in Swine Flu Outbreak?”

It was also reported yesterday that the Massachusetts Senate rammed through a martial law bill in response to the hysteria. Obviously, the swine flu outbreak raises a lot of fears, but is the direction we want our nation to go?

Very few people know that over 30 states already have the power to declare martial law in response to this recent flu outbreak under the Model State Emergency Health Powers Act (MSEHPA). When the WHO raised the pandemic threat to Level 5 it gave these governors absolute power under MSEHPA. Technically, the states that have adobted this “model” are currently in a state of adminstrative martial law right now–even if it isn’t being reported.

The next shoe to fall will be when the Pentagon reveals to the public that civil society is under the authority of NorthCom. Testifying in March, General Victor Renuart, head of NorthCom, said it would provide “assistance in support of civil authorities” during an epidemic.

General Renuar added NorthCom has prepared for a flu outbreak from Mexico. He explained that is “because Mexico is our neighbor and disasters do not respect national boundaries, we are focused on developing and improving procedures to respond to potentially catastrophic events such as pandemic influenza outbreak,” he testified.

Certainly, they will claim Martial Law is needed as a response to this Swine Flu but it begs the larger question: was this crisis (and perhaps the flu strain itself) manufactured for the purpose of staging a military take over of the United States?

Back in 2002, President Bush created NorthCom, the Pentagon’s Northern Command, which has jurisdiction over the United States. And NorthCom has been running preparedness drills in the event of a flu pandemic for at least the past three years.

Making things more alarming, NorthCom got assigned its own fighting unit six months ago—the Army’s 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team, which had spent much of the last five years battling things out in Iraq.

The assignment of that fighting unit alarmed the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). “This is a radical departure from separation of civilian law enforcement and military authority and could, quite possibly, represent a violation of law,” said Mike German, ACLU national security policy counsel.

NorthCom also has a “private sector cell,” Renuart said in a talk to the Heritage Foundation on August 20, 2008. “We have great participation from industry and from other organizations around the country.”

One private sector group that has worked with the FBI and Homeland Security on pandemics is InfraGard. This is group of more than 30,000 businesspeople who have special access to confidential FBI information and may be assigned special—and lethal—duties in times of an emergency (See “The FBI Deputizes Business”).

An InfraGard chapter held a meeting at NYU Medical Center on February 21, 2007 on “Pandemic Preparedness Planning: the Case for Public-Private Collaboration”.

InfraGard also participated in a conference entitled “Surviving the Pandemic,” held in Madison, Wisconsin, October 12, 2006. Clearly, InfraGard wants to be a player in pandemic response. “Utilization of their expertise will help local communities prepare for a possible pandemic event to ensure minimal disruption and quick recovery,” one InfraGard press release stated.

Whether and how InfraGard and NorthCom might be working together in this swine flu outbreak is unclear. Similarly, it is unclear what actions NorthCom might take if an all-out pandemic ensues.

George W. Bush bestowed upon the Presidency enormous powers, essentially to be in charge of every branch of government, as well as state and local and tribal governments and the private sector, in the event of a “catastrophic emergency.” (See National Security Presidential Directive 51)

We’re in a public health emergency now. It’s not “catastrophic” yet. But it appears to be up to the President—and the President only—to make that determination, according to Directive 51.

During the Reagan era Col. Oliver North help develop the Rex 84 plan which proposed rounding up 400,000 refugees, under FEMA, in the event of “uncontrolled population movements” over the Mexican border into the United States. Furthermore, In 2002, FEMA sought bids from major real estate and engineering firms to construct giant internment facilities in the case of a chemical, biological or nuclear attack or a natural disaster.

One of the last acts of Congress in 2006 was to send President Bush a bill that establishes a $38 million program of National Park Service grants to preserve Japanese POW internment camps in Hawaii, California, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and Idaho. Is this really in the name of historical interest or does it dovetail with programs on the books to intern hundreds of thousands of dissidents in a time of crisis?

What could the government be contemplating that leads it to make contingency plans to detain without recourse millions of its own citizens? asked former Congressman Dan Hamburg of the watchdog group Voice of the Environment, Inc. in a article carried by the San Francisco Chronicle last year.

“Since 9/11, and seemingly without the notice of most Americans, the federal government has assumed the authority to institute martial law, arrest a wide swath of dissidents (citizen and noncitizen alike), and detain people without legal or constitutional recourse in the event of an emergency influx of immigrants in the U.S., or to support the rapid development of new programs.” Hamburg co-wrote with Lewis Seiler.

The article continued:

Beginning in 1999, the government has entered into a series of single-bid contracts with Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg, Brown and Root (KBR) to build detention camps at undisclosed locations within the United States. The government has also contracted with several companies to build thousands of railcars, some reportedly equipped with shackles, ostensibly to transport detainees.

According to diplomat and author Peter Dale Scott, the KBR contract is part of a Homeland Security plan titled ENDGAME, which sets as its goal the removal of “all removable aliens” and “potential terrorists.”

Over the past decade we have witnessed an extreme acceleration of the physical implementation of a framework and infrastructure ready to receive those who will not go along with a coordinated destruction of traditional American values and freedom.

The only question that remains is this: are we seeing a beta test or will this event unleash the NorthCom martial law monster? We may have our answer very soon.

CDC Confirms it was Mixing Viruses in Pandemic Study

Fellow blogger and good friend Bullseye posted the Russia Today video that was asking the question was the new Swine Flu virus man made? It is a very good question and the answer surprisingly comes from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) itself.

Is it possible for the new strain of Swine Flu to occur naturally? Well yea in a perfect scenario. The "Swine Flu" as the media has dubbed it is a mixture of Human influenza, Bird Flu from North America, Swine flu from Europe, and Swine flu from Asia. Here is a fictitious scenario written by Mike Adams from NaturalNews.com that shows how unlikely it would be for this to occur naturally.

This is rather astonishing to realize, because for this to have been a natural combination of viral fragments, it means an infected bird from North America would have had to infect pigs in Europe, then be re-infected by those some pigs with an unlikely cross-species mutation that allowed the bird to carry it again, then that bird would have had to fly to Asia and infected pigs there, and those Asian pigs then mutated the virus once again (while preserving the European swine and bird flu elements) to become human transmittable, and then a human would have had to catch that virus from the Asian pigs -- in Mexico! -- and spread it to others.

As crazy as this sounds, that's what the media is telling us. A more likely scenario is that because of the CDC's documented experimentation with influenza viruses, this has been leaked out, our deliberately released. The Center for Infectious Disease Research & Policy (CIDRAP) at the University of Minnesota conducted studies in 2004 where they mixed H5N1 virus with human flu viruses. They go on to say that, "Now, rather than waiting to see if nature spawns such a hybrid, US scientists are planning to try to breed one themselves—in the name of preparedness."

The following comes from CIDRAP,

"The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will soon launch experiments designed to combine the H5N1 virus and human flu viruses and then see how the resulting hybrids affect animals. The goal is to assess the chances that such a "reassortant" virus will emerge and how dangerous it might be. CDC officials confirmed the plans for the research as described recently in media reports, particularly in a Canadian Press (CP) story."

Here is an excerpt from the Canadian Press story,

The researchers, from the influenza branch of the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, will mate H5N1 and human flu viruses in a process known as reassortment. Viable offspring will be tested in animals thought to be good surrogates for humans, to see if the viruses can infect, can be transmitted easily from infected animals to healthy ones and to note the severity of disease each provokes. In other words, the CDC researchers will be deliberately engineering viruses of pandemic potential. It's high-risk but crucial work, the influenza community insists. "It's a dangerous experiment,'' admits Dr. Robert Webster, a world-renowned expert on influenza based at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. "This is the worst virus I've ever met in my long career.''The World Health Organization has been pleading for months for qualified research facilities -- of which there are few -- to undertake this work.

The government is already talking about mass vaccinations for the American people, and this could be eventually lead to a forced inoculation campaign. The government will use whatever excuse there is to grant themselves more power. Most of the time the vaccinations that the government scrambles to force on the American people are a lot worse than the virus itself. Here's a quote from the Reuters article,

In 1976 a new strain of swine flu started infecting people and worried U.S. health officials started widespread vaccination. More than 40 million people were vaccinated. But several cases of Guillain-Barre syndrome, a severe and sometime fatal condition that can be linked to some vaccines, caused the U.S. government to stop the program. The incident led to widespread distrust of vaccines in general.

This virus is also being used as a cover for radical legislation to be passed under our noses. AP reports yesterday that a Massachusetts law has cleared the Senate and is up for vote in the house. It would allow "the public health commissioner — in a public health emergency — to close or evacuate buildings, enter private property for investigations, and quarantine individuals. The measure also requires a registry for volunteers that would be activated in an emergency and establishes fines of up to $1,000 for not complying with local public health orders." This would allow them to call for martial law in the state if the virus got bad enough, and allow them to fine individuals who refused to be vaccinated.

I want to makes a few things crystal clear to everyone out there. I am not that concerned about getting the Swine Flu although I am a smoker and I do have Chronic Lyme Disease (a special thanks to Plum Island for that one). but I am not stupid enough not to have some natural antivirals on hand as well as masks and so forth. WHAT I am concerned about, in fact down right pissed off about, is the hyping of this thing and the very fact that they have released this as their cover-up of what is really going and what is about to happen. This is a man-made virus and did not and cannot occur naturally. This is their way to hide the truth that the economy is now off of life support with the GDP down and China dumping dollars right and left. Then take into account that much of Europe is banning imports from the U.S. and Mexico - they are starting to kill off pigs around the world - link to article - so now we will soon have a shortage of food - oh boy. Oh, wait, we can eat their GMO crops - yeah that will save us. They are making us the pariah of the world (check out Revelations for this one). Then they are going to pass the treaty with Mexico in which Obama told Calderon a couple weeks ago that we will abide by this - that will BAN ALL OF YOUR GUNS. This is up for vote NOW. Also, they are working on passing the whole carbon, go- green bull shit to tax the hell out of us and make us all pay them for the privilege of being alive. Then, not done yet, follow the money - who stands to gain from this dam virus? Who will be making the vaccine? Who owns lots of stock in Tamiflu? This is nothing other than their way of bringing in full Martial Law people to strip more of our rights, cause riots, hunger, death - trashing this country. They will push us toward mandatory vaccines - to spread death even further. They are taking us down the road to chaos and it is happening NOW. They will make money on the deaths of millions around the world. Texas is declaring a state of health emergency today - this is bringing in Martial Law and this is only the start. The WHO is close to raising the pandemic level up to 5 and this is miltary rule and forced quaratines and forced vaccines. The Model State Emergency Health Powers Act (MSEHPA), recently enacted in certain states, will allow quarantines and forced vaccination, penalties for health care workers who don’t show up in a pandemic and strangely, this act also allows for the commandeering of drugs and firearms. Why would a gun-grabbing law be placed in a bill about vaccinations and medication confiscation?

Could state governors order the collection of all data and records on citizens, ban firearms, take control of private property and quarantine entire cities? The answer is yes. [1]

The Model State Emergency Health Powers Act:

In response to the tragedy of September 11, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced its support for this legislation. The goal was to provide federal funds to states to encourage the enactment of legislation to prevent and detect bioterrorist attacks. Drafted for the Centers for Disease Control by academicians from the Center for Law and the Public’s Health at Georgetown and Johns Hopkins Universities, the so-called Model State Emergency Health Powers Act was released on October 23, 2001.

A THREAT TO FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS

Under this legislative proposal, once a public health emergency is declared, governors and state public health authorities would be granted greatly expanded police powers. While a few other actions are enumerated, I want to bring to your attention 10 main powers conveyed into the hands of only a very few individuals by this model plan.

Under the Model State Emergency Health Powers Act, upon the declaration of a “public health emergency,” governors and public health officials would be empowered to:

Force individuals suspected of harboring an “infectious disease” to undergo medical examinations.
Track and share an individual’s personal health information, including genetic information.
Force persons to be vaccinated, treated, or quarantined for infectious diseases.
Mandate that all health care providers report all cases of persons who harbor any illness or health condition that may be caused by an epidemic or an infectious agent and might pose a “substantial risk” to a “significant number of people or cause a long-term disability.” (Note: Neither “substantial risk” nor “significant number” are defined in the draft.)
Force pharmacists to report any unusual or any increased prescription rates that may be caused by epidemic diseases.
Preempt existing state laws, rules and regulations, including those relating to privacy, medical licensure, and–this is key–property rights.
Control public and private property during a public health emergency, including pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, nursing homes, other health care facilities, and communications devices.
Mobilize all or any part of the “organized militia into service to the state to help enforce the state’s orders.”
Ration firearms, explosives, food, fuel and alcoholic beverages, among other commodities.
Impose fines and penalties to enforce their orders.

As you can imagine, citizens across the country–at least the ones who were informed about it–were quite concerned about this model legislation. The American Legislative Exchange Council and other groups immediately began tracking the issue and reporting on how such legislation could affect citizens’ individual freedoms and property rights. As Time magazine recently reported, gun activists were some of the strongest and most influential opponents.[2]

As of April 15, 2006, 32 states have introduced 92 legislative bills or resolutions that are based upon or feature provisions related to the articles or sections of the act. Of these bills, 37 had passed. [3]

The only remaining question for American people is whether Executive Orders, and acts such as the Model State Emergency Health Powers Act and the Patriot Act II are imposed “in case of crisis,” or whether they are created as part of a pre-determined decision to dismantle Constitutional America. And either way, is this how we want to live? Is this what you call freedom?

How To Survive a Flu Outbreak

1. Stay informed

In addition to taking the precautions below, staying informed as the spread of the outbreak is vital to the danger level at this moment in time. Unlike during the Spanish flu outbreak in 1918, we have access to information as it happens. Check the Google Map below to see where Swine flu has occurred and if it is close to you.

2. AVOID GETTING SICK!

Don’t expect that there will be a vaccine for everyone, there is a limited supply

3. Prepare for Quarantine

In a severe crisis, travel restrictions, curfews and perhaps quarantines may be implemented. To be prepared for a situation like this:

Have 2-3 weeks of clean drinkable water on hand
Have 2-3 weeks of food (try to get vitamin rich foods, smoothie drinks, fruits etc.)
Make sure you have proper medication and hygiene supplies at home
Have at least $100 of cash
In case of power outages or disruption of services like gas, have your own lanterns and propane stoves for cooking and light at nighttime

4. Isolate yourself

Even if you are a healthy individual, avoiding people and public places as much as possible can prevent or reduce the chance of catching the flu. Since many viruses can be passed several days before symptoms occur, you could be sick before you even know it.

Keep a distance of 3-6ft from others at all times
Avoid going to public events, avoid large crowds (sporting events, theaters etc.)
Avoid going out, unless necessary. When you do keep it to a minimum
DON’T leave your local area!! (Most people who have gotten swine flu were visiting Mexico)
Avoid eating out; the crowds and the sanitization of utensils could cause infection
Keep kids home from school, if possible
Work from home, if possible
If you have food and water storage, this is the time to use it (some of it), this will reduce your contact with others by avoiding grocery stores
If you don’t have food and water stored, go buy some.

5. Hygiene

Wash Your Hands frequently, especially after touching public doorknobs, pens or shopping carts
Carry Hand Sanitizer, Use frequently
Sanitize your car, work station and home with bleach or alcohol based cleaners
Avoid touching common germ sources
Wear latex gloves when out in public
DON’T share drinks or utensils
Wear face masks when out in public; use a mask with an N95 rating or higher
Wear glasses or goggles (airborne pathogens can get into your eyes)

6. Health

Get a good night’s sleep, every night
Buy food from local sources, clean or cook vigorously
Avoid smoking, drinking, and drugs (they reduce your immune function)
Start taking Vitamin C, D, Garlic, Elderberry, Oil of Oregano and Echinacea
Avoid salty foods and junk foods
Buy and take Colloidal Silver
Exercise regularly
Upon signs of infection, avoid others, cough into your arm or a handkerchief and see a doctor immediately (common flu vaccines can have severe side effects, avoid getting sick so you will not have to take these

If you do get infected consider setting up a Quarantine room. This is no substitute for professional medical care but it could be good during disruption of services.

Many of you out there are confused on what you need, now I certainly do not know everything and I am neither a doctor nor an herbalist, but here goes it anyhoo...

Oil of Oregano - we ordered ours about 2 weeks ago from beforeitstoolate.us. This site is Kurt Wilson's site and he is the armchairsurvivalist - check his radio show out on oracle broadcasting - very good info. This stuff is STRONG and will burn if not diluted - follow all directions that come with it. You will need to dilute it out with Extra Virgin Olive Oil - so I recommend that you order the one that comes with a glass dropper bottle. This costs $23.00 including the dropper bottle. Cheap if it means saving your life! You should also plan on adding in some type of probiotic as it may kill off some beneficial bacteria as well. Do not take if pregnant or nursing!

Kurt also recommends taking Ultimate Immune Booster (we will be ordering this tomorrow) - this supplement has garlic, oil of oregano, elderberry and olive leaf extract. 60 softgels for $15.00.

You should also have gas masks for you and your family - seems like they run around $15.00 to $20.00 each. Check out army surplus stores in your area - that is where we got ours. If you don't have one, then order one on the net. Bullseye has them on his site for you to check out as well as other great prepping things!

You must carry hand sanitizer with you at all times and use it often!

We also have Air Aid Emergency Masks - these are similar to N95 masks, but I thought they were much better due to the fact that they have carbon in them. We ordered ours from stevequayle.com. They were $4.95 each and we ordered ours about 2 months ago when Baxter "accidentally" sent out live virus to be mixed in with flu vaccines - uh huh - I knew right then they were planning this!

You must have a minimum of 3 months worth of storable food - does not require refrigeration - on hand. You will need to have water stored for drinking, cooking and bathing etc - check out the other blogs for information on ways to store water. Will need other supplies too such as hygiene products and toilet paper etc. What you need to understand is that the orders are now in place to declare Martial Law and when this happens, all transit will cease - this means no stores will be stocked - EMPTY SHELVES! Get now what you will need for the next 3 months. With this set of circumstances and Martial Law imminent, they may announce a miraculous vaccine soon and then you will be forced to take it - it will be a felony if you refuse. By refusal, you could be shot or you could be taken to one of those FEMA CAMPS that don't exist and held there, labeled as an enemy combatant or WORSE. This is deadly serious people - this is why we became PREPPERS and if you are new to this - it is almost too late, but not yet if you take all the money you can get your hands on and shop NOW - not in 2 weeks NOW! The time is running out - the CDC may increase to a level 5 in the next day or two - then all bets are off!

You must have 2nd amendment items too! You will need to defend your family and your home from looters who for lack of preparing find themselves hungry.

This virus is out in the populace now and may be going through some changes at the DNA level making either fizzle out and go away or making it much more virulent and easily spread - time will tell. The government is hyping the heck out of this "pandemic" it seems - the standard flu kills more than this during any given flu season, but for whatever reason they seem to be slamming the panic button - this makes me uncomfortable as all get out! Watch closely! Great distraction though isn't it - never said they weren't smart, evil as hell, but smart - guided by an other-worldy power named Lucifer I suspect!
