So.....earlier this spring I attended the catalog premiere, a special event that demonstrators viewed the new catalog on the big screen. At the event we received the Work of Art stamp set. Now let me be honest......yikes. This is out of my comfort zone and I didn't know what to do with the set - other than put it on the shelf.

Eventually I felt up to the challenge, paired it with a fun color combination, some bling and chevron. Tah-da! Now I don't expect this to become a favorite that you'll see often here.

You know I love washi tape, right? I do! I do!! What makes this pop, I think, is the tiny white space along the washi tape. And washi is totally repositionable, so you can carefully lift it up and reposition it if you need! It's so forgiving. I hope you try using washi in your crafting.

This is a perfect quote for where I've been recently. My absence was not planned, but I have been prepping for a busy summer at work and at home. It's been so hectic some days it borders on chaos and out of control. This simple saying is a reflection and reminder - I got this.

I share this today, created by my talented friend Elaine who spent a few days with me last month and we stamped a ton of fun projects. We decided that the striped scallop die works better if you place wax paper between the die cut and the paper. It really helps. Use your paper piercing tool to speed up the process.
