Talk about bad influence. Thanks to PSY every Kpop fanatic who are mostly teens will think that drinking alcohol is so cool. His new music video makes me wonder how Koreans really view alcohol drinking. Is it acceptable in Korean culture? Come to think of it.. I always see Soju drinking in korean dramas ... even the female lead characters always end up getting drunk when they get depressed.

The music is actually catchy. I think it will be another hit for PSY. But I don't like the message it imparts to the public. Probably if the whole song was done in Korean and I couldn't understand a single word and didn't see the music video, I would be okay with it. haha

There's a new weekend reality TV show in Korea called ROOMMATE. Different korean celebrities are asked to live together in a big house with cameras everywhere. It's sort of a Big Brother house (Korean edition) haha.. but the difference is they can still go out and do their usual activities or showbiz commitments. Lee Dong Wook is one of the chosen celebrities! Yehey! I'm so glad he agreed to do this because I get to see Wookie's true personality. I felt bad for him when I discovered he was on a diet. He couldn't eat what his other housemates were eating because he was filming "Hotel King". I guess he was getting ready for this scene... haha

Truly enjoying this new series, ANGEL EYES! Childhood love...forced to part ways while they were young... but gets reunited several years after... This is the formula for a great korean series for me. The guy playing the young version of the male lead, Park Dong Joon, is KIM HA NEUL. I first noticed him in the korean series, The Heirs. And now he landed this great role which makes him more loveable! Goo Hye Sun is better with her long hair. It's the first time for me to see Lee Sang Yoon. I think he's so perfect for the role. I just watched episode 5 awhile ago and it's just amazing so far. I can't wait for the next episode.

"Cunning Single Lady" starring Lee Min Jung is one of those korean romantic-comedy series worth watching. The series is about a divorcee who tires to seduce her ex-husband. I started watching the first episode and ended up staying up late just to watch the remaining three episodes with english subs already. Now I can't wait to watch episode 5! I wish it's Thursday already!!!

This is the first time for me to see Joo Sang Wook. I'm just so amazed by his transformation from a geeky guy to a good-looking, well-dressed CEO!

Kdrama: You're The Best Lee Soon Shin - IU and Jo Jung Suk

I wrote before that I don't like IU that much but watching her series, You're The Best Lee Soon Shin, made me change my mind....

The series has 50 episodes but the story is interesting enough for my mom to watch it from start to finish. My mom has the tendency to watch the first few episodes of a series then watch the last episode if the series gets boring. So for her to watch it one after the other is an indication that the series is good.

Jo Jung Suk also makes the series worth watching. I first noticed him in Lee Seung Gi's King 2 Hearts but now he plays the leading man. For me, this series catapulted him to "Oppa Level"! I won't ever forget him now and I finally remember his name too! :)

Definitely Yoo Eun Hye is now on the top my list of fave korean actresses. She always manages to land in good dramas like Princess Hours, Coffee Prince and Lie To Me. Her current kseries, Marry Him If You Dare, is another romantic-comedy which is super fun to watch. Lee Dong Gun and Jung YongHwa are also two good reasons why you shouldn't miss this. I've watch their other series but their roles in this particular series made me stop and notice them! I don't know if the two of them just got cuter or their roles made them cuter! haha

There are a lot of good korean dramas this last quarter of 2013. I'm currently watching Lee Min Ho's HEIRS and Yoon Eun Hye's MARRY HIM IF YOU DARE (KBS World, Mon and Tues, 9-10pm UTC +8). Another drama to look forward to is Jang Geun Seuk's BEL AMI (previously Pretty Boy). The series will start on November 20 in Korea but it will be shown in KBS World on December 4 (Weds and Thurs, 9-10pm UTC +8)

I know it's just a small act but it's heartwarming to read messages of hope and sympathy for Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) victims from Korean celebrities. A lot of korean artists have visited the country especially this year and yet I don't read any messages from them.... Yes..Minho and Khunnie... I love you even more now! :)
