There is so much to do both at work and at home and it's so important for your health to keep stress at bay. Here's how to make the most of your weekend so you can relax and enjoy living and relieve stress as you do.

Listening to music is another great stress-buster and certainly beats watching the garbage dished up on TV these days. Music can inspire, soothe, calm, and excite you and it is one of the greatest pleasures life has to offer in my humble opinion. So why not take in some live music? Whether your tastes lie in classical, opera, jazz, blues or R&B, you'll be able to find somewhere that caters to your taste. Or, you could just schedule some time to sit down and listen to your favorite CD's in the comfort of your home - maybe have a relaxing soak in the tub as you do? It's such a great way to relieve stress, so make it a part of your stress-busting weekend.

How about involving all of the family in your weekend of stress relief? A picnic is a great day out for all of the family. Zoos, theme parks, the beach, the lakes are places all of the family will enjoy but you don't have to venture afar to enjoy a picnic. You could enjoy a picnic in the comfort of your garden, maybe even fire up the barbecue while you're at it? Your picnic, your call, just make sure all the family are involved in preparing the food so they feel part of it.

Why not take full advantage of the free time the weekend brings by doing something new? You could visit a new town or village, a park, a museum, or even a new restaurant or a coffee shop. You could go watch some sport, or even take up a new sport or hobby. This will broaden your horizons and will keep life fresh and interesting as well as helping to relieve stress.

Why not spend a cosy night indoors with your lover and cook a special dinner? A great idea is to try different cuisines - be as exotic as you dare! This is time for indulging your relationship so leave the stressful stuff like work elsewhere. Make the effort to dress for dinner and have candles and relaxing music in the background to create a nice ambience. I know one couple who've done this at least once a month for more than 30 years and they say it's one of the main reasons for their success. Try it, I have and it is a great way to bust stress and improve your relationship.

Take a timeout and spend a day or two completely away from the firing line. Go somewhere tranquil, somewhere you can take walks or cycle rides to take in the scenery and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the place. Lakes, a beach, a park, the countryside - whatever you enjoy. Just leave your cares and worries behind and enjoy the peace and tranquillity.

You can use these tips to help you make the most of your weekends and relieve stress as you do. Why not give them a try this weekend?

Click Here Now to get started right away on kicking stress, depression and anxiety out of your life forever so you can enjoy a brighter, happier future!

******************************************
(c) Chris Green - All Rights reserved
www.conqueringstress.com

******************************************

For more tips, articles and information about how to relieve anxiety and depression naturally without taking powerful antidepressant drugs, then please visit the Conquering Stress website at : http://www.conqueringstress.com

How To Rapidly Reduce Your Stress Levels

By Chris Green

(c) Chris Green - All Rights reserved
www.conqueringstress.com

If you're caught up in a harrowing storm of stress, depression or anxiety, you may feel that the storm will never pass. Most sufferers of these problems feel like this at some point and it further deepens the torment, intensifying the storm, a storm with no end in sight.

Let's look at how this can happen and then we'll see how to overcome this feeling.

Let's say things aren't going well with your marriage. Maybe your spouse has had an affair, maybe the relationship has gone stale and you've both had enough. Then things change at work and you find yourself working long hours and under pressure to meet deadlines. Additionally, money is becoming a real problem and credit card debts are mounting up. Stress levels soar.

Sounds familiar, yes? I've been there too and my word is it a terrible state to be in. You can't talk to anyone, you try to make things better by yourself and they just get worse and you wake up with the night demons at 3 am. every morning and you start to think highly-emotional thoughts such as:

"What's the point of trying? I'm ruined, my life is falling apart and no matter what I do things NEVER change. I just can't work this out, and life will always be like this."

Wow, it's a very powerful, destructive way of thinking but it is a flawed way of thinking. The two key words in such flawed modes of thinking are ALWAYS and NEVER. By using such emotionally-charged words, you make it virtually impossible to find solutions to your problems. You are telling yourself you are in a turbulent storm that will never end.

This simply isn't true because no storm can rage forever and no matter how violent it is it will ALWAYS blow itself out. This is the nature of life on this wonderful planet of ours; change is certain. You will face changes in your life that are welcome but you will also face changes that aren't welcome but change in whatever form will happen. Just as good times cannot last forever neither can the bad times and you will help yourself enormously by not using the words always and never to describe your situation.

I know that if stress, depression or anxiety are wreaking their destructive ways with you, it is very hard to see an end to the torment because finding answers is so hard. It is crucial to bear in mind that there are always solutions to problems, even though sometimes we may not like the outcome, a solution will be found and you can get on with the next chapter of your life. Your life will continue to change as the years roll by - it's been full of change up to now hasn't it? - and the key to happiness is to be able to adapt to change, be it welcome or unwanted.

One more thing. You can create change by your own hand. All of us have this power and when times are good, you create changes constantly. Moving house, changing jobs, going on vacation - you create all of these. Here's an empowering thought for you: You can CHOOSE to create change even during times of stress, depression or anxiety. The power to change things doesn't suddenly leave you because you're under stress, the power is yours to use should you choose to.

When you realize that nothing in life is permanent and that the storm you're caught up in right now will eventually pass, you'll take a big step towards reducing stress. And combine this with your power to create change by your own hand and you have two very effective strategies to help the storm pass quickly.

Click Here Now to get started right away on kicking stress, depression and anxiety out of your life forever so you can enjoy a brighter, happier future!

Resource Box

For more tips, articles and information about how to reduce stress levels naturally without taking powerful antidepressant drugs, then please visit the Conquering Stress website at : http://www.conqueringstress.com

About Spiritual Growth

Spiritual Growth is directed towards an inner growth. New thoughts, ideas and understanding of yourself and how to

work with energies in your daily life to increase your intuition and self awareness.

Easy explained; we do all work with energies, Every day! Either unconsciously or conscious. The information and exercises in this course can quickly become a part of your daily ritual to strengthen your own contact with yourself.

The exercises are used by many spiritual people who know how important it is to work with themselves and their energies.

There are Many different energies you can get in contact with and get a greater understanding of. Spiritual Growth will help you to build up your own understanding of different energies. You can also get many "aha" experiences when you start to work with yourself and start to seek for the hidden knowledge that we all carry within.

When we think about spiritual growth; it starts by etc. taking a course or some lessons to find answers or to get new thoughts and ideas about things. Usually because we see that our old thoughts doesn't work as we wish. The information in a course stores inside of us and we return to our daily life again, but with a new knowledge. It's in the daily life we start to test our new information and knowledge to see if it's right for us. We choose what to take in and what to leave behind.

When this process is done you've taken a step forward on the spiritual road and you can again take other spiritual courses or just seek inwards into yourself to get to the next step. There are always something new to learn, and that is a good thing!

Continue to develop : http://www.abthir.com/spiritualgrowth

The Power of Positive Habits

Put your Mind & Body on "Autopilot" and reach your goals...automatically!

Did you know that habits are incredibly powerful tools for personal growth and success?

Think about the habits you have now and how they affect virtually every aspect of your life. Your weight and health are determined by your eating habits. Your relationships with people are determined by your social habits. Your success at work is determined by your work habits. You have sleeping habits that dictate how well you sleep. You have sexual habits. You even have buying habits; just take a look around your house and you will quickly see them. Our character, health and virtually every aspect of our lives are indeed determined by our habits.

If you ask ten people on the street what the word habit means, nine out of ten will tell you that a habit is a negative action that people do over and over again, like smoking, or procrastinating, or eating too much. Bad habits get all the press. Let’s look at the results of just one bad habit: smoking. Every year, over 400,000 people lose their lives to smoking-related illnesses in the United States. Imagine then, the negative power that exists in just that one bad habit. It is staggering.

Now I want you think about an even greater power, a power that can bring you success, health and happiness; a power for positive, permanent, and automatic personal growth: the power of positive habits. Let’s look a little closer at the meaning of the word habit. Random House dictionary defines habit in this way:

Habit: An acquired behavior pattern regularly followed until it has become almost involuntary.

The important words in this definition are acquired and almost involuntary. Let me ask you a question. When is the last time you sat down and said to yourself, "Today I am going to add a new habit to my life?" I would venture to guess that you have probably never said those words. As you read this article, you will see how easy it is to add positive habits to your life and the great power they have to change it. Think about the words almost involuntary. This means the habit is so powerful in your mind that it is almost unstoppable! With respect to bad habits like smoking, procrastination, and overeating, this is very bad. But with positive habits, this is very, very good.

What is a positive habit? A positive habit is simply a habit that produces positive benefits, actions and attitudes you want to acquire and make a part of your life. Why is there such great power in positive habits to effect change? Because habits, by their very nature, are automatic. After a period of time they can become permanent.

So how do we go about adding new positive habits to our life? It’s really quite easy. You simply begin repeating an action, attitude or thought process every day for at least 21 days. Research has shown that an action that is repeated for a minimum of 21 days is likely to become a permanent habit. Remember that positive habits have positive benefits and you will reap those benefits for as long as you maintain that habit. So now that we know what positive habits are, and how to acquire them, let’s look at some simple positive habits from the book that will help you reach your goals and have a healthier body.

Positive Habit #53 - Make it a habit to set goals

Since we are talking about goals, what better habit could you have then the habit of setting goals? Did you know that the most successful people all share the common positive habit of goal setting? A study was done to determine the importance of goal setting. College students who had gone on to achieve great success in business were asked to list their habits. The students who had made a habit of setting goals were in the top 3% of earnings in the population! It is almost impossible to overestimate the value of goal-setting as a positive habit. Goal setting is simple, yet 97% of the population never do it. By making goal setting a positive habit, you can start placing yourself in the top 3% of the population of successful people.

Here are some simple steps to help you start making goal setting a positive habit:

Step 1 - Define your goals, write them down, and be very specific; capture your goals on paper. It is amazing how many people never take the time to write down exactly what it is they want in life. Remember, you can’t hit a target if you don’t have one.

Step 2 - Determine what the time line is for reaching your goals; set specific deadlines for each goal.

Step 3 - Identify any obstacles that may stand in your way, list them, and state how you plan to overcome them.

Step 4 - Make a list of the people and/or organizations who will help you reach your goals.

Positive Habit #3 - Take Flax Every Day for a Healthy, Trim Body and Lower Cholesterol!

What is flax?

Flax is a blue-flowering plant known for its oil-rich seed. People have been eating flaxseed since ancient times, it has a pleasant, nutty flavor. The health benefits of flaxseed and flaxseed oil are significant and for that reason this habit is recommended as a primary habit for health and a trim and fit body. Here are some of the benefits of flaxseed and flaxseed oil:

Flaxseed contains both soluble and insoluble fiber. Several studies have shown that flaxseed can help to lower cholesterol in the same way that other soluble fiber foods like oat bran and fruit pectin do. A study at the University of Toronto showed that total cholesterol levels dropped 9% and LDL (the "bad" cholesterol) decreased 18% among a group of women who ate milled flaxseed cooked into bread every day for a period of 4 weeks.

Flaxseed is one of the richest sources of lignans and alpha-linolenic acid. Studies suggest that lignans may help to prevent certain cancers. Flaxseed is one of the few plants in the plant kingdom that provide a high ratio of alpha-linolenic acid (an omega-3 fatty acid) to linoleic (omega-6 fatty acids), it is an excellent source of healthy polyunsaturated fat.

A new study has confirmed that the positive habit of taking flax seed daily can help you get a trim and fit body. I interviewed Dr. Sam Bhathena, a researcher at the Phytonutrients Laboratory of the US department of Agriculture, he said, "we have observed that flax seed meal is much more effective in lowering cholesterol then soy. Several other studies have shown that in general, omega-3 fatty acids, lower lipid deposition, and help in reducing body weight."

Omega-3 fatty acids — More than half the fat contained in flaxseed is omega-3 fatty acid type, an essential fatty acid. There have been numerous studies reporting the health benefits of consuming omega-3 fats. Recent studies suggest that omega-3 fatty acids which are abundant in flax seed can help protect you from coronary artery disease, stroke, high blood pressure, autoimmune and inflammatory disorders. Studies on the effects of flax seed on breast cancer are now under way. Omega-3s can also help boost your metabolism, helping your body to burn calories faster.

Flax is available as raw seed, ground seed and also as an oil which is made by cold pressing flax seeds. You can purchase raw flax seed, ground flax seed and flax seed oil at most health food stores. The easiest way to incorporate flax seed into your diet is to buy ground flax seed meal and add it to your food.

· Substitute for cooking oil or shortening in baked goods.
· Add ground flax seed to pancakes, waffles and cereals.
· Put ground flax seed on salads.

Here is a great recipe for a super health shake. Make a protein shake with 8 ounces of your favorite juice such as apple or orange, add 2 tablespoons of flax seed oil, 2 tablespoons of soy powder, 1 tablespoon of lecithin, fresh fruit such as bananas, papayas or blueberries. Blend with a hand blender or an electric blender. This power shake will provide you with the health benefits of soy; omega-3’s, fiber, antioxidants, and enzymes from the fruit, and the fat loss benefits of lecithin.

Imagine how your life would change if you could put it on AUTOPILOT and reach all of your goals automatically! Now you can with "The Power of Positive Habits," the new book that #1 NY Times best-selling authors Jack Canfield, Brian Tracy, John Gray Ph.D. are all raving about!

As you read this book you will discover:

. Having a strong self esteem and self confidence is a priceless asset, the better we feel about ourselves the more effective our actions will be and therefore our results on a day to day basis. The quality of our self esteem in any given situation in our live impacts the simplest of day to day activities and subconsciously influences our day to day interactions with ourselves and others. It can make us feel powerful, invincible or powerless.

How we feel about ourselves and therefore our level of self esteem is detectable to others by how we present ourselves and the value that we place on ourselves as individuals. Having a strong level of confidence is often associated with arrogance and superiority but is based on a strong self identity and giving and expecting to receive mutual respect nothing is further from the truth.

Countless factors have a positive or negative impact on our self esteem: the effectiveness of our relationships with others, our work/non work environments and our life structure. These factors influence our behavior, our language, our actions and our results.

Levels of self esteem can vary in any given situation in life; a person who is happy, secure and confident at work may not feel the same in their non work environment or vice versa. This means that the concept of ones self esteem is affected by how successful that we feel that we are in each sphere of our lives. Though this concept is subjective for many people, success may be related to feelings of well being as a result of positive feelings of self or self esteem.

Our perception of success is often also affected by making social comparisons with others either consciously or subconsciously. This may have either a positive or negative impact on our self esteem. Our self esteem level is our source of personal power and must be constantly kept in check. Self honesty is essential make a fair judgment on how to value your self esteem and confidence. Testing your confidence by self evaluation is often much more complicated as it seems because we all have certain blind spots.

Our levels of self esteem are like the fuel tank of a car. A full tank and you can go anywhere, half full and you know that you still have some mileage to go, a quarter full you should really be planning to refuel before it gets too late. On the red, you’re dredging all the dirt from the engine and are risking long term damage. If you can identify with this view read on for strategies to refuel your tank.

In order to simply test your self-esteem, Dr. Joe Rubino has made a quick, fun and easy preliminary self esteem test which can be found at: http://www.successfactor1.com/selfesteem/. Most people will uncover some areas of their life where self esteem can be improved. Here are 10 ways to do so:

1. Get organized. Clean out your computer, your desk, your closet and your house. File and store everything logically and organized. Throw away what you don’t need anymore. This clears up your head a lot!
2. Create a vision for your life. This is the most overlooked trait to feeling better. Your life’s plan must be compelling!
3. List goals, make a plan and make baby steps to achieve them. List daily and weekly goals. Break them all down in small chunks. Take on the cunks one by one.
4. Take well considered action. Take action upon your plan. Start and act fast – get things done ASAP.
5. Reward yourself when succeeded. Get disciplined. Always keep the score. Hold off rewarding yourself until you have created results by achieving your goals.
6. Exercise! Nothing outperforms physical activity. Inactivity makes you rust away. Breathe well and exercise. This will give you fresh oxygen in your blood and brains to make you feel better.
7. Love yourself. Judge yourself by what you already do well instead of by what’s imperfect.
8. Help others. Helping others makes you feel extremely good.
9. Get rid of negative people in your life! This will be the best thing you can ever do to improve your self esteem.
10. Live a balanced life! Especially at a younger age most people tend to undervalue the power of living a balanced life in relation to optimized self esteem and confidence.

Bonus secret: Treat your body with respect. Support your body by healthy consumption patterns, good sleeping and deep breathing.

Dr. Joe Rubino is an internationally acclaimed life and success coach and the author of 11 best-selling books and audio programs available worldwide in 19 languages. They are absolute trouble and need to be dealt with immediately!

“Self-Limiting Beliefs” are so effectively detrimental because they come from within, so there is far less opportunity to fend off their attacks and defend ourselves from the self-annihilation they bring. “Self-Limiting Beliefs” are the most powerful enemy we can ever have to face, as the famous old saying reminds us so very clearly, “We have seen the enemy, and they are “US!”

Just like in real warfare, one of the most efficient strategies to win a battle is to infiltrate the oppositions camp and spy out their strategies and battle plans. As well as this, you provide them with as much false information as possible, to lead them astray, causing them to make incorrect moves, based on improper assumptions. In turn, leaving them vulnerable and ready to be more easily defeated.

This is exactly what happens to you when you allow your unconscious and conscious mind to offer up negative and simply bad information to yourself about yourself. As you plan your campaign to get ladies and get laid based on a collection of Un-True and Falsified Facts about yourself – the facts that are burned into your unconscious mind – you will start setting in motion a plan to FAIL. Your brain will work its hardest to prove your plan correct – and you will probably fall well short of your intended targets.

Some Self-Limiting Beliefs are as follows:

* Girls only want to be with guys who have lots of money!
* Women only want sex with strings attached – committed relationships!
* If you aren’t “Great Looking,” you may as well just give up now!
* Babes can sense inexperience and won’t even give you the time of day if they think you don’t have the experience they deem “necessary”.
* Hot chicks are only attracted to “Bad-Boy,” Alpha-Male, “A”-holes!
* She’s already got a boyfriend, better give up now!
* Women should be willing to accept me completely, just the way I already am!
* She’s a “Total 10,” I can’t compete for her. I don’t measure up!
* The “Super-Models” are off-limits, simply NO CHANCE there!
* That babe is way too popular, look at all the guys who are already all over her!

They’re just a few of the seriously debilitating Self-Limiting Beliefs that can hold us back from really going for all the gusto we not only deserve, but could easily have if we just trusted in ourselves enough to go for it! If you don’t believe you can get the chick, you won’t get the chick! If you “DO” believe you can get the chick, you “WILL” get the chick! It’s really that simple. It’s all about what you believe!

Excerpt taken from HypnoDate.com

Reducing the Effects of Stress

Though given a bad name (and often for good reason) stress is actually your body's natural reaction to the various challenges and potential dangers we face on any given day. It is a physical and mental response that is built to provide us with the energy, ability, and clarity to escape a situation that could cause us harm. However, the body's stress systems were not built to deal with the issues of personal expectation, surprise, memories, and even imagined experiences that cause us so much undue trauma these days.

Though stress has been a part of humanity since the beginning of our existence, it is only the lifestyles in more recent history that have lead to stress's development as a problem. In fact, stress is among the leading causes of unhappiness and illness in today's society.

Therefore, if you're looking to eliminate stress from your life, you will need to accept certain truths in order to make it work. To start, there is a major difference between living a stress-free lifestyle and trying to live without any stress. Stress is going to happen whether you want it to or not. The key is to come up with a way of living that will allow you to manage it properly and have it come and go only as it is needed, without lingering and impacting other unrelated aspects of your life.

Furthermore, you should recognize that some stresses can actually be pleasant. Positive stresses can include excitement, the rush you feel when you take a risk, and even the joy you feel when you're competing (especially when you or your team has won!). If you eliminated all stress from your life, you'd be unprepared to manage sudden changes in your life, and you wouldn't be able to enjoy the things you truly love.

It is the negative stress that needs to be reduced in our lives. A stress-free lifestyle means that you can maintain your routines, job, relationships, etc while managing any issues or surprises that happen to come along. It means that though you may have to deal with problems every now and again, there are no lingering physical or mental troubles to speak of once you're handling it.

It is possible to learn to live in this way. In fact, it is actually what your body was designed for. To try it out for yourself and begin enjoying your life on a whole new level, download your copy of Simple and Stress-Free Living at http://www.simpleandstressfree.com.

Bringing Down Your Stress Levels

There isn't a person on Earth who doesn't know what it feels like to feel anxious or overwhelmed in a stressful sensation. The majority of us will feel this at times that are dangerous or traumatic - physically or emotionally. The symptoms are obvious. Your heart beats faster and harder, butterflies flutter about in your stomach, and your palms get sweaty and much more.

Remember the last time you went on a blind date? Or when you took an exam and realized that you didn't know a critical answer? What about when you sat in the waiting room waiting to be called for that important job interview?

The worrying and discomfort is all part of a natural stress process that the body has in order to make sure you're prepared to handle a situation where you need to run or defend yourself (fight or flight). At very little warning, the body becomes capable of quick decisions and greater physical abilities in case of danger.

However, when not properly managed, stress can become overwhelming, creating anxiety and fear as well as many other physical and emotional symptoms that are ongoing and unpleasant. It can take its toll on your health, and both your professional and personal life. This makes it extremely important for you to learn how to manage your stress.

Even better than just dealing with your stress is discovering how to live a stress-free life. Now, this doesn't mean that you'll be living a life completely absent from stress. That's just not possible. For one thing, some stresses are good. Excitement, for one, is a positive stress. For another thing, though, a reasonable amount of stress actually helps you to perform better and stay motivated to keep going.

What a stress-free life can help you accomplish is to live a life where you do have some stresses, but they only appear at appropriate times. The rest of the time, you know how to keep that stress controlled and healthy so that you aren't suffering from overly elevated stress levels. It means that you allow the stress to exist in your life where it is useful, and then know how to calm down when the stress will no longer help you.

For guidance to establish just this kind of lifestyle, download your copy of Simple and Stress-Free Living at http://www.simpleandstressfree.com and learn how to work with every part of your routine and outlook to make it happy and healthy.

Coping With Life and Living Stress-Free

Lowering stress levels is something that most of us struggle with throughout our lives. Stress, after all, is quite a concern and it is very clear when it has been allowed to get out of hand. We don't feel well, we're tired and cranky, we sleep poorly, and we're much more prone to illness than when we're not trying to cope with astronomically high stress levels.

There are two main problems that many people have when they try to get by with stress. The first is that they don't do anything to get their stress under control. Instead of making a conscious effort to build healthy habits that will encourage a calmer life, they simply continue the same way that they always have, slowly allowing the stress to continue building until it reaches a dangerous point and they become ill, develop an emotional disorder, start experiencing panic attacks, or simply burn out.

The second problem is to mistakenly believe that you are making a difference because you are doing something to try to beat stress, but you've chosen the wrong thing to do and it doesn't make the necessary impact. Combating stress is a lifestyle, not a single activity. If you live an exceptionally stressful lifestyle, and then you decide that the way to manage that stress is to take a 20 minute bubble bath once per week, you won't be getting very far.

That being said, it doesn't mean that you need to quit your job and move away from everybody you feel is causing you stress. Quite the contrary. Instead, you need to learn to manage the life you have. Of course, changing jobs might be the right decision for you, but that would be your own unique choice.

You need to take a look at your life and the various aspects of it that bring tension and anxiety into your world. Then, you need to come up with a strategy to cope with each of these issues. Do you need to eliminate them altogether? Can you continue with them but take on a new perspective, attitude, and technique for handling them? You also need to be sure to make sure that you're also taking some time for you. This is where that bubble bath becomes helpful - when you're adding it to an already proactive effort.

If you're ready to come up with your own personal stress-free lifestyle, then you're set to download your copy of Simple and Stress-Free Living at http://www.simpleandstressfree.com, which has all of the techniques, information, and resources you need to get there.

How to Relieve Stress with Mental Toughness

Knowing how to relieve stress at work is more than picking the right stress management techniques - a lot comes down to your mental toughness.

Do people tend to push your 'hot buttons', leaving you feeling frustrated and intense? Do the mannerisms of your clients', or their poor communication skills annoy you? Do demanding or abrupt customers make you feel stressed and uptight?

Then you need to get mentally tough!

Mental toughness is an essential stress relief skill required for becoming resilient to the pressures and stresses in work and life.

Just feeling frustrated, uptight or upset because of what someone has said or done will create tension and stress in your body.

Ronald Glaser, director of Ohio State University's Institute for Behavioural Medicine Research said, "It's clear that stressors produce abnormal changes in the immune system". Glaser and his wife, Janice Kiecolt-Glaser, a clinical psychologist also at Ohio State University, studied the mind-body connection and found that chronic stress and psychological stress can impede wounds from healing, may impair the effectiveness of vaccines and can weaken the immune system of caregivers [1]. In this physical state, you may feel easily tired, emotionally sensitive, and your body becomes prone to strains, spasms and pain.

There is, however, a more positive effect created when changing the way you respond to potentially stressful situations. Carol Ryff, a psychology professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, says, "There is a science that is emerging that says a positive attitude isn't just a state of mind. It also has linkages to what's going on in the brain and in the body." [1]

You may not realise it, but the way in which you react to the people you work or do business with, is creating the tension and stress in your body.

Stress doesn't happen to you - it happens
because of you. You may be unwittingly
increasing the stress in your own life.
So, what can you do about it?...

Change what you focus on.

Toughen your mind by disciplining it to focus on solutions rather than problems. An undisciplined mind dwells on problems and churns over those negative aspects of people that bother you. This simply creates more tension in your body. Studies have found that 'pain is a psychologically constructed experience' [2].

The key of how to relieve stress is not simply
finding the 'ideal stress management technique'.
You need to change your focus.
You create or reduce pain depending on what you focus on or what you believe to be true.

Focus on what you want - instead of what you don't want.

-> Focus your mind and energy on how problems can be solved, instead of getting upset because someone disagrees with you.

-> Focus your mind on the task at hand, instead of other people's opinions of you.

-> Focus your mind on all the good you can achieve, instead of beating yourself up over one or two mistakes.

-> Focus your mind on your good nature and sense of humour, instead of harsh words from a demanding client.

-> Focus your mind on the insignificance of your problems when you consider that over 150,000 people have lost their lives, and millions have been left homeless.

-> Worry less about people's bad moods, poor communication and outbursts. Get the message and get on with it. You don't need the stress.

For the rest of your days, there will be people who say things you don't like, will disagree with you opinion and disapprove of your choices. If you let that resistance determine what you do, you'll never be free of stress and pressure.

Looking for ways on how to relieve stress sometimes makes you ignore the reasons that are closest to home - your own thoughts and actions. Finding stress relief is not as simple as picking up a stress management book and trying out all the stress management techniques. Instead, become mindful of what you focus on and watch your stress shift.

I teach people how to become resilient to pressure and stress for many reasons, but one important reason is that in the past eight years I have lost several special people in my life due to tragic circumstances. If one positive lesson could come out of that it's realising that life is too short to waste time getting drained from stress because of what or how other people communicate with you.

I wish for you to enjoy work, family and life - not endure it. Don't live for the weekends - live today...because there is no guarantee of what tomorrow will bring.

REFERENCES:
[1] http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2004-10-12-mind-body_x.htm
[2] http://msnbc.msn.com/id/4313263/

Michael Licenblat B.Sc.(Psych) is a Resilience Expert who helps people in business bounce back fast from pressure, stress and burnout in their work and life. Actually, most people with hypertension never suffer these most extreme consequences. But sadly, few ever escape scot-free. That's because high blood pressure wrecks invisible havoc on your body, doing serious damage undetected.

Hypertension puts a severe load on every organ of the body, not just your heart. The kidneys are one of the organs most susceptible to damage from excess pressure. Damaged kidneys fail to sufficiently remove waste and excess fluid from the blood and excess fluid acts to further increase blood pressure. The final result of this vicious circle is kidney failure, for which the only effective treatment is a transplant.

The eyes are very sensitive to high blood pressure. If your eyes become more sensitive to touch than usual it could be a sign of hypertension as it actually increases the internal pressure in the eyeball. This can also be the cause of blurred vision or other sight problems. Tiny capillaries in the eye can burst causing a bloodshot appearance or doing even more serious damage.

But all this pales in comparison to the biggest, yet invisible, risk of the so-called "silent killer": vascular disease, more commonly called hardening of the arteries. Constant high pressure on the walls of blood vessels builds up resistance, thickening and hardening them. It's a natural defensive reaction of your body to high blood pressure; it wants to protect your blood vessels from bursting under the pressure and bringing on a stroke or other severe consequence.

Sadly, in trying to protect you from a sudden health crisis your body's reaction to hypertension is creating a long-term health crisis. Hardened arteries become thicker, restricting blood flow and contributing to a condition called ischemia or lack of blood supply. This causes further damage to the organs.

Hardened arteries also become less flexible and this has specific effects on your health. Imagine a tough old garden hose that has baked under the sun. Instead of wrapping smoothly around corners like a new hose it collapses on itself, cutting off water flow. The flexibility of blood vessels is a major factor in determining how you age. Healthy, flexible arteries can make all the difference between aging gracefully, full of good health and energy, or growing old before your time while suffering constant health problems.

Speaking of aging, there's one further problem related to blood flow that's often (incorrectly) associated with growing old. At least when it comes to men… yes, it's erectile dysfunction. I say the association is incorrect because it's actually high blood pressure and hardened arteries that are at fault. Any organ or physiological process dependent on blood flow (which is pretty much everything) is going to suffer when you have high blood pressure. If this doesn't motivate at least half the population towards lower blood pressure then nothing will!

Heart attacks and strokes are just two possible outcomes of damage that started years before, damage that accumulates invisibly when you live with high blood pressure. You may never experience these frightening results but the damage is being done.

Luckily, there's a 100% surefire way to prevent all these problems: lower blood pressure. It's not difficult. Doctors agree that up to 95% of hypertension cases can be treated with lifestyle changes and other natural methods. And there are a number of powerful medications, strictly as a last resort, for those rare cases that refuse to respond to nature.

Get your blood pressure checked and take immediate action if it's too high. Don't be fooled just because you feel well.

Learn more about a genuinely effective natural way to lower blood pressure and relieve stress.

A Brilliant Stress Relief Technique

By Chris Green

You and I both have a belief about who and what we are. Indeed, everybody does. Many different events happen to you throughout your life and it is how you assign meanings to these events that forms the belief you have about yourself. If you view these events negatively, you can form a victim mindset, a mindset that will send stress levels soaring and cause you misery for a long time.

An old friend of mine is a perfect example. Life was going smoothly for him until he was forced to change jobs because the company was "streamlining". He was assigned to a new job, he really struggled with it, he didn't get along with his new boss who eventually moved my friend to another department, on a lower salary.

Gary changed dramatically. He was no longer a nice guy content with his life but a very angry, bitter person who deeply resented what had happened to him. He resented everybody, labelling friends as "selfish" and would snap at people over the slightest thing. Gradually his presence became unbearable and his friends, tired of the bitterness and arguing, deserted him. He had chosen to be a victim and he was taking it out on everyone. And the more he acted like a victim the more he became one.

Just as Gary believed he was a victim because of a trying event, so do millions of others. Being a victim becomes the story of their life after an event such as a job loss, death of a loved one, a nasty accident, a move of house, a change of job or they split from their partner - whatever. But every single one of us has to face these types of events in our lives and what is crucial is not to choose to allow them to make you believe you are a victim as this will fuel stress.

Let me share with you an outstanding stress relief technique you can use so you never allow a stressful event to make you choose to be its victim.

Imagine that you want a fresh new look in your living room. You want new furniture - a new sofa, a new coffee table, a new sideboard, a new carpet and a fresh new color scheme.

Before you can proceed you have to do one very important thing:

Clear out all of the old furniture and furnishings. You either sell them or take them to the dump. You cannot replace them whilst they are still in the room you cannot have your fresh new look unless the old has been removed, agreed?

It's so obvious isn't it? Yet what is really great about this is that it makes a super stress relief technique because you can apply the principle to your life and the events you have experienced if such events are causing you to believe you are a victim long after they have happened.

No matter what stressful event you have endured, maybe your partner has left you, a business venture collapsed, someone you love passed away, you had a bad accident or you were made redundant or someone you trusted abused your trust, whatever it is, no matter how severe, you now throw it out of your life. Dump it in the garbage and completely LET IT GO. It has hung around way too long, now let it go so you can bring in fresh opportunities and experiences.

Whatever it is, dump it. Get angry at it, take yourself to a private place and picture what has happened and then shout: "ENOUGH! NO MORE! I LET YOU GO YOU ARE DUMPED FROM MY LIFE. I AM NOT YOUR VICTIM!"

I want you to think of this: Whatever has happened to you in life you can have but two effects on you. It can either be a curse or a blessing. If you choose to believe an event has made you a victim, then it will be a curse on you for a long time.

Choose instead, to make it a blessing, even if you were really hard done by. Because when you choose to make it a blessing it will never ever make you a victim and rob years from your life, as the change of job robbed precious years from my old friend.

Click Here Now to get started right away on kicking stress, depression and anxiety out of your life forever without taking antidepressants so you can get your happy life back!

(c) Chris Green - All Rights reserved
http://www.conqueringstress.com

Announcing The Launch Of My Mind Shift Binaural Audios

Have you ever heard of binaural audios before?

Me either... but it is scientifically proven that these special type of audios can be used to influence your brain into specific 'states'. For example they can be used to...

1) Increase Motivation
2) Increase Energy
3) Increase Focus
4) Increase Creativity
5) Increase Learning
6) Increase Happiness
7) Increase Relaxation
8) Decrease Stress
9) Stop Panic Attacks

And so much more.

Without getting into the technical details of how these audios work, let me give you a brief description of how these audios work. Your brain functions on primary frequencies based on the speed of your brain waves. Specific states have specific frequencies... for example if your brain is functioning at a specific frequency of between 13 - 40 Hz this is called 'Beta' waves and it is when your brain is active, busy or anxious thinking and active concentration, arousal, cognition.

But if you are sleeping your brain has a frequency of between 4 - 7 Hz or 'Theta' waves and this is when you are dreaming are in deep meditation or have, REM sleep.

So if you are feeling tired... then you have a particular low brain wave frequency at that time. The power of binaural audios is that it can lift those brain wave frequencies and within 5 minutes make you more alert and active, all by just listening to an audio with a set of stereo headphones.

Now normally these audios cost $29.95 a piece or more but Paul Kleinmeulman has just launched MyMindShift.com and he supplies 12 different audios to help you with specific problems all for the cost of one of these audios.

Lack motivation, simply pop in the maximum motivation audio and within 5 minutes your brain waves will be 'switched on' for more focus and more energy to increase your motivation.

Check it out at...
http://www.mymindshift.com

It is highly recommended.
