The latest book by Marcus Buckingham, "The Truth About You: Your Secret to Success", is quite a disappointment to followers of the strengths approach. The shiny silver package contains a slim little booklet that reads like a summary of points that were explained well in the previous strengths books. Anyone reading this book without having read the previous books would not only fail to grasp the essence of this wonderful approach, but is likely to form a negative view about it. Await more detailed reviews of all the strengths book in this blog.

This blog will contain short articles on the Strengths Approach to career development and performance management, originally propounded by Gallup and now also by Marcus Buckingham. I shall share some of my experiences in applying this approach as a coach at a medium-large organization.
