Rihanna has released another single from her upcoming Rated R album and it’s title is as “Hard” as the song itself! With an abrasive party beat, Rihanna and my boo Young Jeezy rap about how “Hard” they are.

“Tougher than a lion/ Ain’t no need in trying/ I live where the sky ends, yup, you know this/Never lying, truth teller/ That Rihanna reign just won’t let up/ … The hottest b*tch in heels right here.”

In Jeezy’s verse, he talks about his progression from the block to the big leagues:

I used to run my block like Obama and them/ Don’t believe me, ask my momma and them/ Tell ‘em give me back my swag/ They tried to clone me/ See my Louis Chucks, Louis flag, Louis flames, Louis belt/ What that make me, ‘Louis Mane’?/ … ‘Hard,’ if one word describes me/ If I wasn’t doing this, you know where’d I be.

So… in a word. The song is appropriately entitled,  “Hard”!

I told y’all a few weeks ago about former Falcon Bob Whitfield’s Twitter Rant where he went off on his ex-wife, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sheree’ Whitfield. Bob hit up the Nigel and Marco radio show where he dished on his ex and admits that he only did it to get Sheree’ to call him back.  It worked…and has since been deleted, but Bob went on to reveal that he’s been holding on to at least one piece of their failed marriage. A Sex Tape!

Jermaine Dupri and Shawntae Harris aka Da Brat have been hit with a lawsuit over an assault that occurred in Studio 72 several years ago. Shayla Stevens, a former Atlanta Falcons and model, has filed a civil lawsuit in Fulton County Superior Court, claiming Da Brat struck her in the face with a bottle, causing serious injuries. The lawsuit claims Da Brat, born Shawntae Harris, has a criminal record and violent past record of assaulting other women.

Meet Ms. Mary Strey, 49, of Granton, Wisconsin. Mary had a few drinks on Oct. 24th and got so lit that she couldn’t drive herself home. Crazy thing is, she tried but then decided to snitch on herself by calling 911 as she was driving.  :-/

During the call from Mary’s cell phone, she states “Somebody’s really drunk driving down Granton Road.” The emergency dispatcher tries to determine the driver’s location and asks Mary if she is driving behind them to which she replies, “No… I am them.”

Mary then tells the dispatcher that she was calling because, “I don’t want to hurt anybody. I’m drunk.” The dispatcher advises her to pull over and put on her flashers and sends an officer to her location. The responding officer reported that Strey had slurred speech and smelled of alcohol.

She told officers she’d had seven or eight brandy and Cokes after a night of barhopping. Her blood alcohol level was double the legal limit, the Associated Press reported.

Mary was charged with misdemeanor drunken driving and is due back in court Dec. 10. Listen to the hilarious audio below: (more…)

The party was billed as a birthday celebration for both Lil Rocko and Romelo but Monica let me in on a lil secret.
