We loved Chastity Belt's Time To Go Home, as we think the band has something really unique and special in their surf infused guitar pop. We are really in the mood for big guitars and catchy choruses in this early days of the new year, so we are really digging Get Inuit's new single "Barbiturates". This band from Kent has been putting out some singles and Ep's since 2014 and they describe their sound as dirty indie guitar pop. "Barbiturates" is a great, big sounding indie rock track, the kind that could easily become an anthem.

We've been a bit busy lately an unable to update as usual, but we expect to get back to normal after this Christmas. There is also a bit of shortage of great new tracks as we approach the end of the year, but this new one by Meatbodies hits all the right spots for us; a bit of garage and plenty of psychedelia all nicely mixed up in this fuzzy, powerful jam, "Creature Feature", the first teaser of a new album coming out on February 10th.

Vancouver's The Courtneys put out a really great debut album back in 2013 that surprisingly flew under the radar. Now they are signed to legendary New Zealand's Flying Nun and they are set to release a new long player next February. " Silver Velvet" is the excellent and catchy fist single, a track that shows how good this girls do the 90's influenced guitar pop.
