Zofran (ondansetron) is often prescribed to cancer patients for treatment-related nausea, but some physicians have prescribed it to pregnant women to treat nausea and vomiting due to morning sickness. Several studies have found that Zofran taken during pregnancy could be related to birth defects such as cleft palate, cleft lip, heart defects, and other developmental abnormalities.

Commonly known as “Z-Pak”,  Zithromax is a popular antibiotic manufactured by Pfizer and prescribed for treatment of mild to moderate infections.
