The card uses a retiring stamp set along with a New In Color and our BRAND NEW Candy Dots! I received a small sampling of the Candy Dots while on the incentive trip to Fiji and added one to the middle of my flower on this card with a Candy Dot Brad Base.
My greeting comes from the retiring set called Perfect Punches (order it in Clear #120516 or Wood #117022). It coordinates with a number of our punches making it so simple to use. This greeting fits perfectly in our Extra Large Oval Punch (Order it #119859)
Here is a close up of the Candy Dot. The dots come on sheets and have adhesive on them just like our Basic Rhinestones and Basic Pearls. You can purchase the Candy Dots Brad Bases separately and attach these colorful dots to create a fun brad like I did.

The Spring Catalog will be ending on May 31st and when it ends, the Parker's Patterns Designer Series Paper will retire. This is a great package to use for those man cards.
I stamped three of the tickets from That's the Ticket (order it in Clear #128075 or Wood #128072) and adhered them to the front of my card with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added onte of the arrow clips from the package of Hung Up Clips, on page 28 of the Spring Catalog, for added interest.
I used a 12 x 4 1/4 piece of one of the patterns for the main card and added a 1 1/4 x 4 1/4 strip of Cherry Cobbler card stock on one end. I placed that end on the straight edge on the die and ran it through. After scoring the piece as shown below, I cut a piece of Sahara Sand to 4 1/4 x 2 1/4, ran it through the Argyle Textured Impressions Folder and added it to the card.
The inside layers are 4 x 4 and 3 3/4 x 3 3/4. I inked my inside image with Cherry Cobbler and Not Quite Navy markers, stamped it and punched it out with the 2 1/2 Circle Punch. This was added to one of the Scallop Circle die cuts on the Perfect Pennants Bigz L Die.

Welcome to the May 2013 Tour de Freaks Blog Hop! We are so excited to have you join us today.
This month we are showing off some of our New Catalog Preview Items. Our tour is nice and short and features some of your favorite Control Freaks Stampers. You may have just come from my dear friend Dawn Olchefske's Blog, you may be one of my blog stalkers or you may have just stumbled here…however you got here, you’ll be very glad you did! Be sure to take the whole tour! If you are arriving here on the 19th, please note that not all links may be working yet. The tour officially begins on the 20th.
My first project uses the Tag a Box Bundle. This bundle includes eight easy to assemble gift boxes with acetate sleeves, clothespins, exclusive Baker's Twine and a variety of tags to make your gift really stand out.
I wanted to give one of my daughter's favorite teachers some of my homemade chocolate and butterscotch chip cookies. They traded treats a few months ago and he raved about them so I thought he might enjoy some more.
The cookies are wrapped in our retiring Gusseted Cellophane Bags (5 x 3 x 11 1/2) #127850 that first debuted in the Holiday Catalog. These are the perfect size for gifting a handmade goodie.
The packaged cookies were placed in the box and slipped into the acetate sleeve. I wrapped my gift with some of our trendy NEW Chevron Ribbon in Pear Pizzazz. The tags and Bermuda Bay Baker's Twine are included in the bundle and I added a snippet of Crisp Cantaloupe card stock cut into a pennant shape.
Here is a close up of the tag. I stamped my image from a New stamp set called Chalk Talk in Pear Pizzazz and added a nifty white clay button over the heart. I created the button with our NEW Simply Pressed Clay and Clay Mold set.

My next project is a coordinating card using the same colors, the NEW Chalk Talk set and a few other NEW goodies!
The main image was stamped in Bermuda Bay, fussy cut and layered over some Whisper White run through the Big Shot with the Chevron TIEF. I cut a strip of Pear Pizzazz card stock with the zig zag die in the Finishing Touches Edgelits and layered that behind the Fancy Fan pattern from the 2013-2015 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack.
I created anther button with the Simply Pressed Clay for this card. Instead of leaving it white, I kneaded a few drops of Crisp Cantaloupe Ink into the clay before it was pressed into the mold. Be sure to come back after the catalog goes live for tips and tricks using the new Simply Pressed Clay.

The background was stamped using the large flourish image from Creative Elements (order it Clear #122647 or Wood #128526).
The frame image comes from the Four Frames set (order it in Clear #123442 or Wood #128589) and I used the Raspberry Ripple Stampin' Write Marker and simply omitted the bird in the corner.
My flower from the Best of Flowers set was stamped in Raspberry Ripple and Pretty in Pink was added with a Blender Pen. I punched it out with the 1 1/4" Scallop Circle Punch (order it #127811).
