6000 people in attendance at the 2008 San Diego Comic-Con, got a sneak peak at test footage for Tron 2.0 (TR2N) that director Joseph Kosinski made on his own and that Disney decided to show to gauge reaction. At ShoWest 2009, according to SlashFilm.com, Disney presented the original test footage that premiered at Comic Con with a new logo that just read TRON. Kosinski has been building up his cast, which includes Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Beau Garrett, as well as Tron veterans Bruce Boxleitner and Jeff Bridges, as well as Beau Garrett, and most recently, supermodel Serinda Swan. Oscar nominated cinematographer Claudio Miranda is director of photography. Claudio's is most well known for unique stylized shooting in the film 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button'. Shooting began on April 10, 2009. According to Disney, Tron 2.0 isn't due in theaters until 2011. But there is plenty of speculation that the movie will be released earlier.

But with the trend towards more social applications also comes a growing list of site-specific APIs that developers must learn. OpenSocial provides a common set of APIs for social applications across multiple websites. With standard JavaScript and HTML, developers can create apps that access a social network's friends and update feeds. Many sites, one API Common APIs mean you have less to learn to build for multiple websites. OpenSocial is currently being developed by Google in conjunction with members of the web community. The ultimate goal is for any social website to be able to implement the APIs and host 3rd party social applications. There are many websites implementing OpenSocial, including Engage.com, Friendster, hi5, Hyves, imeem, LinkedIn, MySpace, Ning, Oracle, orkut, Plaxo, Salesforce.com, Six Apart, Tianji, Viadeo, and XING. In order for developers to get started immediately, Orkut has opened a limited sandbox that you can use to start building apps using the OpenSocial APIs. Server optional OpenSocial is built upon Google Gadget technology, so you can build a great, viral social app with little to no serving costs. With the Google Gadget Editor and a simple key/value API, you can build a complete social app with no server at all. Of course, you can also host your application on your own servers if you prefer. In all cases, Google's gadget caching technology can ease your bandwidth demands should your app suddenly become a worldwide success. The racial makeup of the CDP was 92.61% White, 2.46% Native American, 1.41% from other races, and 3.52% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.76% of the population. There were 142 households out of which 19.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.6% were married couples living together, 6.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 41.5% were non-families. 38.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 19.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.00 and the average family size was 2.63. In the CDP the population was spread out with 19.4% under the age of 18, 4.2% from 18 to 24, 16.9% from 25 to 44, 33.5% from 45 to 64, and 26.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 50 years. For every 100 females there were 104.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 112.0 males. The median income for a household in the CDP was $24,688, and the median income for a family was $30,956. Males had a median income of $23,125 versus $15,536 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $14,608. About 9.6% of families and 14.7% of the population were below the poverty line, including 27.5% of those under the age of eighteen and 6.1% of those sixty five or over.
