Prayas-Finally on its way

Hi Friends,
Happy New Year!!First blog of this year for SPEA to declare officially that "Prayas",after some controversy is on its way.Prayas, is the first event,a drawing competition, organised by SPEA on 15th Jan 2010 at Saptapadi Hall,Bhavnagar.After some organising imbalances it has been well managed and hopefully will be a successful event.Forms and Invitations have been give to about 25 best schools of the city.Actually,it will be a huge event and a learning lesson for all of us and the coming generation of SPEA. If we encourage the coming batch,they will definately maintain the dignity of the institute by organising such events and taking SPEA to greater heights.
We pray and hope that Our "Prayas" becomes successful...

Hiiiiiiii friends,
Blogging after a very long time but I want to tell you all about an activity going under SPEA. SPEA is organising a district level drawing competition in short while.It is held to advertise SPEA, raise the fund of the organisations and to come uo with beautiful talent in the world of art.Very few must be knowing about that, its initial phase round was to be held in mid-August and the final stage was to be held at SPEI on 19th September.....But sorry friends,it has to be postponed due to anonymous unavoidavle reasons.Dont worry friends it is just postponed for some time,but it will soon be organized in a fantastic manner.

It was 31st May'09...the inaugral ceremony of SPEA. It was a dream for all the X-Students to be together once again after a long span of time.Due to co-operation and co-ordination of all the X-Students and the school staff it was possible. Finally Ishan's(actually everyone's!!) dream has turned into a reality.One of the worst thing I know is that I was absent in the function as I was in Nashik due to my final exams,but I'll come next year. SPEA 2 will be more powerful than the previous, same as the second edition of IPL. The Trustees,principal,teachers and the students(of course..)enjoyed a lot,even the trustees were dancing(I heard that..)I would like to suggest that from next year we can fix a particular date and would keep that date as fixed for SPEA function every year.It can be called as "Alumni Day".What do you think friends???I am also thinking to advertise SPEA at school to all the students in the next week,when the school reopens through some speech and posters.But for that I'll need to take permission which I'll do very soon.Hows the idea???

SPEI Re-UNITES finally

As the blog stats SPEI Unites this will come to physical existance on 31st May '09 as there is a get-to-geather of passed out batches. We will get the opportunity to meet again all the friends, collegues and teachers, will get some-time to rejoice those wonderful moments we left back in the school. Although some students (EX) are frequent visitors who just don't want to forget those past days. Hope to see all you guys in this grand occasion soon.

Mayur Patel's Sad Demise: Condolences to his family.

I am deeply saddened and shocked at the news. Today morning suddenly my dad called me and asked me whether I know Mayur and asked me to confirm the news about his demise. I was totally shocked and was not able to understand what was my dad asking about. It was shock to hear the news. I was just hoping that the news is not true. After few calls to colleagues and confirmation it took some time for it to sink into me.

I want to share my deepest condolences with the family, Mayur is a great guy and we will all remember him and miss him for all his goodness. I pray to the Lord to grant his family the courage and solace to bear with this irrespirable loss. May his soul rest in peace.

Understanding the lifelong connection

We change schools, join the society, participate in dramas, try to win. While we think that winning is the most adorable of all, it's not. Winning is just a part of the whole of the game (the most famous part). But, to reach to that part and celebrate, there is something we gotta do. We need to enrich ourselves with the attitude of winning. Only then we 'may' win.

I don't know how there people can enjoy when everyone has lost? are they happy because they won or because that everyone lost? What is scientology behing this? What binds us from being bad? What makes us feel good? Why do we fall in love? What is it's connection with Adam and eve? the talk may go long, but, what is the idea of the connection between the humanity and us? may be the answer lies at the place where we were taught. Inside our school.

Hey friends!!!

Firstly wishing you all a very happy and a prosperous Holi...

We have taken an AV of Supriya Mam since Monday. Well, it was a combined effort, but are unable to upload on the net due to some fault. We are trying to solve the problem so that it can be seen by everyone of you. It will talk some time but it will be on the net soon.

Secondly, as you may have noticed the change in the header of the site, yes, its now our official name of the group, SPEA (Sardar Patel Ex-student Association). So friends did you like the name??? I think its the best. Do suggest if you want any kind of changes.

Hey guys,
I went to the school today. I was accompanied by Jaky, going into the gate felt like many memories were in front of my eyes, all those bunking of Maths classes,sitting in the loan and having break etc.
As we had entered the main gate someone came around Jaky's legs,it was nothing but "Tiger",(remember that puppy..),yes he has grown up and is a dog now,he just smelt us and went away.(See his memory...good).The body looked the same but I thought the heart has been changed. Except some of the teachers,(hey lols,understand..)no one were happy from bottom of thier heart.."Kisike baaju main to jalne ki badbu aa rahi hi".Now every one seems to be in thier own world,no matter of the surrounding.Students are enjoying in thier own classes, doing everyhing which they want to...(aakhir yehi to parampara hai..)We were also he same, but thode se sudhre hue the. It looked to us that this was not the school that we had left.
You all come and experince the difference...Only one thing the era of success of SPEI should not be ended,it should go on and on, no matter who comes and who goes...

SPEI- "now" n "forever"

It was 10.00 a.m on Sat,28 Feb....when i saw a sign board on the road near chitra,"Welcome 2 bhavnagar..." and i felt like chal abhi ye apun ka area hai...Came to Bhavnagar after 45 days felt really nice. I thought what to do next after reaching home???? An instant idea was to go to school...but then I remembered the timing that today it was Sat and school would be till 12 noon, so it was not possible to go to school toay, it looked as if I was helpless. I wanted to meet everyone there but now that thing is only possible on Monday. The bonding that the X-Students 've with the teacher touches the heart. SPEI is the only place which has taught us every single aspect to cope up with the surrounding, struggle in difficult situation and emerge as a Winner. Really I'm proud to be an SPEIen and so shuold all be... Really SPEI is now and forever in my heart...I remember the words of Supriya Mam on our farewell day, she said, "Now you are leaving the umbrella of SPEI..."

Now that Ishan is using the forms, the updates emails would not be received by anyone of you. But, you guys can still register for giving yourself to the database.

That was an update. So, those who subscribed, don't expect any emails. lol. The annual function was nice. Though I went for the last half hour only, but public seemed to be uninterested. The anchor was going on speaking 'English' and asking to 'Give a big hand' when no one listened or may be understood.. Lol. I am really thinking what were they thinking when said 'give a big hand' lol.

anyway, am really excited about the reunion. May be I won't be able to attend, because exams exams exams. Will take more later. Ishan >:|

Though, the stars of the night are not the ones who are on the stage, but also the ones who toiled to fix the program. Lot's of patches will be seen far from perfection. Wired generation is still singing ' Mile sur mera tumhara'. lol.

As you guys must know of my school group. But the best were Gaurav, Jignesh, Jay, Bhavesh and Prashant too sometimes with whom I used to hang out regularly on ring road (I do remember the bench too). When I was on visit to Bhavnagar we guys used to sit at the bench everyday till late night. One day someone raised that lets meet all of the school friends again at school. I just lol at that time and said what we guys are doing right now! We everyday are meeting each other and every day we meet over teachers, isn't that enough? But what I answer I realized from all of the faces was 'NO'. All of them started giving their opinion and view and at last we came to an awesome solution 'Re-Union'. Thanks guys for that lovely conversation.

Oh! You Ishan?

Yesterday Ishan gave out a big post on me. So, now it’s time I write something about him too. Yesterday night when he showed me the post, I said that I will attack him with my blog post on him today morning. but, as I am sitting here, I have changed my mind.

We had a cricket match that day at the St. Mary’s high school. I think I first met him there. Chasmish (like me of course), he showed a sense of attitude in himself. and hey! Ishan! if you are reading this, I want to tell you that this is not at all butter. Really, I am so happy I got a chance to write about you.

I usually went to the cyber cafe in those days. no laptop, no internet, nothing was at home. Started chatting with him on orkut and joined his Ex-students community and everything was a awesome experience.

Till date, we chat where we fine each other online. He is always humble and sober???>>

I went to school to visit after I left it. Soon I heard the name from everyone's mouth 'JAKY'. Wanted to meet him at that point of time instantly, I don't know why? This was the first reaction of mine for him. Soon I meet him just got impressed by him charming and humble personality and yes obviously his dedication towards arts. He is showered by art in him. Today, whenever I ask any help from him he's ready every time to help me. This blog can because of him. He just filled my heart with his all positive things to get this blog on. Thanks to him a lot "The master mind of this blog". Buddy I'm not buttering you. I'm just writing what ma heart speaks. That's it all about the buddy "JAKY ASTIK". Since the first day I came to the school, I have been greeted with friends that can only be cherished. I was in the 2007-08 batch of Standard 12th

It was an amazing experience, I know this is a Reunion blog, but, I think everyone of use has some memories attached with our school. Sometimes, we even called it our first home. Remember?

Jignesh, Rushabah, Sandy, Anita, and many others made life really happy. Though I was a book worm, they taught me that there is one more life outside the books, the real life.

We broke tube lights, green boards, and even got away with the mouse balls. Lol. that was so so amazing experience.

Am I boring you guys? Yes? oh, I hear that. Jay and Arijeet are saying that I am boring them. Okay okay. Am stopping here. but, these experiences have carved their way to the need of our reunion.

Hello there. I thought while Ishan is up to creating some beautiful posts for the blog, why not greet our ex students and bid then some greetings. While, almost all the ex-students (except the last batch) have reached their 'age' to get involved in valentines day.

Actually, every single things now seem to have a blog. Google have their blogs for every service they give. Google mail, Google docs, Google India? ya. Even Google India. So, We thought that it would be easy if we could send updated to our friends about where we have reached in our reunion stuff. It's all really really simple as that. Why I thought of RE-UNION?

Since I left the school I want to be back in those days. The day I left I was curious to meet all ma mates again. Even I went back to school but I wasn't satisfied as was not able to meet all of my friends together and sit with them to enjoy all that past fun what I had in class. Soon from that day I just wanted to meet all of them together and I made my mind to organize something not only for me but for all my friends and teachers (ya teachers too guys) whom I miss the most. But one problem came in between in what way? That's the day I just put ma all efforts to just organize the RE-UNION.
