Our Mission focus for the month of April is our SALT Camp for our JR & Sr High students. The camp is July 18th-23rd and the cost is $250. If you would like to help offset the cost for our students, please come prepared to give this Sunday at either service. Let's invest in our students and they help invest in our region.

Nehemiah build the walls of jerusalem together with different tribes and families in only 52 days. Something this big and involved could only happen with people that are truly together. Being unified as one family can help us accomplish much bigger things in the region than apart.

Easter is not all about the Easter Basket. What really matters to you doesn't necessarily matter to God. We get focused on the wrong things when in reality God has given us all authority to live a life of freedom. Easter is the start of that....Jesus giving you everything He has. Powerful!

We are so excited to celebrate EASTER together this Sunday. And we get to do it 2 times! 

This Sunday we kick off our 2 new services times  ----  9:15am & 11:30am. Both services will feature powerful worship, life changing messages, God encounters and family connections. We are making more room for you to bring your friends and family to experience Freedom in Christ. 

*Our 11:30am service will only have nursery and toddler classes for the time being.

THIS FRIDAY!!! Jr & Sr Students....you have off this Good Friday so come and bowl with us. We are meeting at SouthView to van/car pool to the bowling alley and we will end at 6:00pm. Please bring $11 with you for bowling (plus money for food/snacks).

On Palm Sunday, Ps Mark shares the story of Jesus' entry into Jerusalem. The reality is, Palm Sunday isn't about the Palms. It's about Jesus transforming a city, the church and peoples' heart, which He continues to do today. What is your focus? Where are the "palms" in your life?

Join our Outreach team on Friday night as they minister to Right Roads Ministry. We welcome anyone to come and pray for the sick as well as share Jesus' love to those in attendance.

We are excited about our new 2 service format starting on Easter Sunday. Mark your calendars (and alarm clocks) starting on March 27th for our 9:15am and 11:30am services. Two times to connect. 

We have "invite cards" in the lobby, if you would like to personally invite friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc. We look forward to seeing new faces come through the doors well past Easter Sunday.

We are excited to have Ed Traut with us again the week after Easter. Starting Sunday April 3rd through Monday April 6th, Ed will be sharing the word as well as speaking prophetically over people. Ps Steve wraps up our #epicstories series with a look into the life of Job and what really went on between God and Satan. Maybe the story isn't really all about how bad Job had it but more about how much of God's glory shined through humanity.

This Sunday is the beginning of Daylight Savings. Make sure you "spring" your clock ahead forward one hour. Think of all the daylight that you will get in return!!

Our call to action is GO MAKE DISCIPLES....

Many people don't know what disciple making really looks like. How do we share the gospel message? What about healing the sick and praying for people we don't know? Jesus said we could do it, but how do we overcome the fear? 

This Saturday will be another one of our Evangelism Train Classes where we will help equip and train you to be God's "hands and feet". We will help you hear God's voice and understand how easy it can be to really share Jesus with people in your community. It becomes "normal" and something we can all do.

We all go through trials, but it's the things we learn in them that effect how we come out of them. Learning from 3 of the men that went through the "hottest times" gives us hope that no matter the situation, God is with us.

Our Car Cam Conversations continue with Pastor Steve and Joan discussing the question "How to have a long and healthy marriage?". Steve & Joan have been married for 45 years and have 3 kids and 10 grandkids. We love hearing marriage wisdom from people that have stuck it out and work it through.

Your covenants that you make are important. They can bring blessings or curses over your life. King Jehoshaphat came into agreement with King Ahab and it changed the course of their battle. It can also cloud you from really hearing God's voice. With your covenants, the question is asked "Whose report will you believe?". Pastor Mark dives into the epicstory of Ahab and Jehoshaphat.

We are excited to host an opportunity for our local community to learn more about THE ROOTS PROJECT from our friends, Jason and Erica Rust. Our Car Cam Conversations kick off with Mike and Jody (some of our elders at SouthView) discussing the question "What is the secret to a good marriage?". Mike & Jody have been married for almost 16 years and were on the brink of divorce. Their real and honest discussion (with a camera mounted on their windshield) is just a glimpse into what has healed their marriage and helped them stay together all these years.

Manasseh was one of the famous Kings of Israel yet he started his career out very badly. The greatest thing about repentance is, it's not how you start, but how you finish. Many times, the new 4 letter word is something we find very hard to do and say, but it's the best way to finish well.

On Valentine's Day, Ps Mark shares about the interesting story of "Sister Wives". Yes, Abraham had Sarah as a wife and a sister....but if we can get past that part of the story we can unlock the hidden gem. Our Pride punishes people. Working towards a place of complete trust in God is a process, but it will save us, and those around us, much heartache.

We are so excited for our Baptism Service this Sunday (31st). In Matthew 28, Jesus said to "go and make disciples....baptizing them..." One of the greatest ways to follow this "mission" are services like there. Honestly these services are some of our absolute favorite! If you would like to be baptized, there is still room. Redigging the ancients wells is essentially going back to the original ways God had set up for our freedom. Realizing the power in the words we use, and the blessings we speak, helps release freedom over us and others. Ps Mark reveals the 3 primary ways God has created to bless us.

This Sunday is our Missions Weekend.

Our focus for the first month of 2016 will be local missions right here in the Nashville region. On Sunday the 17th, will be receiving an offering to go towards the purchase of a church van. This van will serve as a visual reminder that we are called to "go out" and "be the church". Our outreach ministry department will be using this as they travel throughout the Middle TN area sharing Jesus. Our Salt youth department and other church activities will be a beneficiary of the van as well.

If you would like to give towards this visual reminder of our calling towards local missions right here in our own backyard, come prepared to give at our Sunday service or via online here. We look forward to sending teams out to help spread the love of Jesus.

Our path to true freedom starts by going back to the Ancient Paths God set up long ago. When we ignore, or don't even understand, the ways God set up family to operate, we allow other voices to speak into us. Ps Mark breaks down part one of The Path to Freedom with "Curses".

This Sunday, Ps Mark kicks off a new 2 week series entitled "The Path to Freedom". Did you know that life and death can come from the power of your speech? You actions actually shape your future and your children's future. Your path towards freedom starts with understanding the ancient paths that God had established long ago. What better way to start a new year than to understand how you can help shape the future of it!

And on Jan 24th, Ps Mark gives our yearly Vision Sunday message. There is power in knowing the direction and plan God has for our church family each year. Something powerful and organic happened on the first Sunday in January....people testified of God's goodness in their lives. In the midst of people sharing breakthroughs of healing, restored relationships and God's provision, people actually experienced Holy Spirit's healing and restoration during the service! How exciting to hear God move when we testify of His goodness to others. Friday night is back!

This Friday we are gathering with other churches and ministries to see God lifted high in worship, prayer and even evangelism. This Freedom night we will be sending out teams to share Jesus and pray for people in our community DURING the service. Our local leaders will be sharing their heart on what they see Jesus doing in Middle TN,  as well as speaking and praying over you.

This night of regional unity starts at 7pm and we will have childcare for babies and toddler age children (older kids are welcome to join us in the service).

Bring people that need a touch of God's freedom...it's time to shake Nashville with the sound of unified praise to set the captives free!

John 8:36 - So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Ps Mark shares one of his favorite stories in the bible. The story of Obed-Edom is not a well known one, but a power example of how the Presence of God can transform your life. Don't drop the Ark...keep the anointing and the presence of God paramount in your life.

Southview Church Pastor Mark and LeeAnn Rampulla present “The CELL,” an original holiday drama! Sonya, a married woman struggles with being a Christian and living the Christian lifestyle. She believes Jesus has no intention of answering her prayers, and becomes angry and frustrated with everyone and everything in the world prospering except her family. This drama walks through Sonya's relationship struggles with Christ and her family, and is her urgent cry to know God as a loving, faithful, forgiving and restoring Father.

As we continue our series through the book of James, Chapters 2 & 3 lead us into what a Christ follower does and says. Once again, the book of James redefines how we think we should be into looking more like Christ. 

Ps Mark starts our 3 week series into the book of James. James' letter to the church is a powerful and timeless one. Chapter 1 breaks down what a Christ follower has.

Join Ps Steve an Joan this Saturday from 9-4:30pm for the Healing the Sick class. Cost is free but the manual is $15. If you want to be used to bring healing to others, start a Healing Room or if you need healing in your body; join us Saturday.

Relationships are so important to us. Many of us spend time working on all of them much more than we do with the main one....with God. Most Christians would not consider their relationship with God a healthy one they we viewed it through the eyes of our relationships with our spouse, family or friends? Understanding who He is and how He works helps us to understand how much we need Him. Pastor and author, Brian Hardin shares this theme from his book "Reframe". Be prepared to reframe your idea of your relationship with your Creator.

Our final value in our V8 series is Missional Living. We are all called to live like missionaries in our places of influence. Once you know how God views you, it's much easier to share His love with others. So where is your mission field?

Starting this Friday night, we are going to a monthly FRIDAY NIGHT FREEDOM service. This month, Ps Clint Thomas and Ps John Arheghan are with us. This multi church night is designed to provide a place for people to encounter Holy Spirit in a worship environment. Austin & Katherine Huskey will be leading worship. 

Starts at 7pm. 
There is childcare for nursery and toddler age kids.
