There is only this moment.

Surrender to it.

Fill it with love.

Fill it with peace.

Fill it with generosity of Spirit.

Fill it with grace.

Fill it with God.

Come forth my beloved into the dawn of a new day.

Break the cycle of fear that has taken hold upon the Earth.

Walk into the open arms of My love and know that I am with you always.

There is nothing to fear.

I Am the Creator of all that is.

I have created you with love and I will treat you with love.

Walk away from your fear and turn the corner into My love.

I Am right here before you and will never leave.

All the worry, hoopla and anxiety disappear with two simple words:

I Surrender.

Say it out loud to yourself.

Say it out loud to God.

Say it out loud three times,

Click your heals and....

Somehow I thought I was in Oz.

No matter, it still works

I Surrender.

Be "in the world" but not "of it".
This is our dramatic challenge.
It can cause havoc in our minds,
along with fear, distress and unhappiness.

Be "in the world" but not "of it".

Moment by moment I challenge myself with this statement.

The have to's and should have's.
The would have's and could have's.
Guilt and unworthiness take
me away from my holiness.
They take me away from the truth that we are all one in Spirit.

Be "in the world" but not "of it".

In repeating this statement to myself I hear God say,
"Fear Not".

I hear God ask me to let my light shine.

I hear God tell me this is just my temporary home and again the voice says:
FEAR NOT.

Dear God,
Sometimes no matter how I try not to, I become filled with fear. My mind tells me things that are not of You and I become irrational in my fear.

Dear God, help me in those times to become fully awake to Your presence and Your love.

Help me to see the world through Your eyes and mind. Eyes that see no fear and a mind that feels no fear.

Help me to Surrender to "what is" and not worry about all my mind might tell me "might be".

Help me to live each moment at peace.

Amen

God stands with you.

Hold your head up high.

Take a deep breath.

And conquer the moment by giving the moment to God.

or the offer of forgiveness to an enemy,

Love is the Way, the Truth and the Light.

The love your body shows to you each day as it wakes.

The love your animals show you with their purring, tail-wagging and unbounded joy.

The love in a smile sent just to you by a stranger on the street or in a store.

The Love sent by God each day, to you, in all Its glory.

Count your blessings and count the love given to you each day.

When it comes to fear, it seems we humans have not evolved much. Fear can take us over in any instant of the day.

Instead of the dreaded saber tooth tiger of long ago, today it is the economy, H1N1, and an assortment of other foes too long to even contemplate.

To Surrender to a saber tooth tiger would not have been a wise thing to do, for it was a real threat with BIG teeth and fast feet, but many of the fears of today are not present as such, they are just threats voiced on and again by the media.

Surrendering to most of the fears of today can be as easy as stepping back from the thought and asking yourself, "Is this real, or percieved? Am I in imminent danger or just scared?"

Step further back and know that you are surrounded in Love, no matter what.

No matter what!

Dear God,
Today I heard you whisper to me, "I Am here with you."
I felt the soft and gentle glow of Your love surround me in each instant.
I saw the beauty in all that You have created...everywhere.
I experienced the kiss of Your kindness in the smile of a stranger.

In this day...I Surrendered...and miracles were all around me.
Tomorrow I will do the same....and the world will glow with Your presence.

I believe and that is all that matters. I Surrender and all is well.

The beauty of our lives is always with us.

Some days we may forget this and dream of the sadness or fear we see around us.

It is just a dream. Look around and remind yourself of all you have to be thankful for.

Truly the thanks will outweigh the fear, if only for an instant.

Hang onto that instant and see what the next instant brings to you.

No judgement.

Hold onto the love and beauty of your life.

After taking some time off from writing these, I feel as though i might get back into doing it again. Not sure it will be everyday as it was before, but a thought of Surrender here and there as I feel it.

Thought for today:

Does the ocean tide that crashes ashore in Maine wish it were the ocean tide on Maui?

Does the Maple tree spend even an instant in thought wishing it were an Elm tree?

Does an Elephant yearn to be a Duck?

Then why is it that you and I spend even an instant wanting to be something other than who we are or where we are?

Ah, but I hear you say, "But I must dream and have goals, I must achieve and become something".

I say to you, "You are something. Your dreams are here. This instant is perfect".

Follow the lessons of nature. Move out of your ego-mind and into your Beingness and Surrender to what is.
