Ihr seid auf der Suche nach einem geeigneten Büro? Ab nach Vancouver. Dort wurde vor kurzem das Jameson House im Herzen der kanadischen Hauptstadt eröffnet. Das Architektenbüro Foster & Partners entwickelte ein einzigartiges Hochhauskonzept auf engstem Raum. Das Projekt ist sagenhafte 35-Stockwerke hoch und vereint Tradition und Moderne in einem. Es soll die neue Finanzzentrale Vancouvers werden, mit einem puristischem Flair und innovativer Ausstattung.

Vancouver has a new highlight. The 35-storey Jameson Houses rises in the hear of Canada’s capital. The project combines the restoration of heritage buildings with new construcktion. By fusing old and new, the building assures a modern character. The design was developed in response to the local climate, seasonal sun paths, prevailing winds, humidity levels, air temperatures and precipitation rates specific to Vancouver. Eine unserer Lieblingsmarken in Sachen lässiger Basecaps ist zurück mit neuen Modellen. Die Rede ist natürlich von New Era. Nach der erfolgreichen Artist Series mit Jon Burgermann letztes Jahr folgt die zweite Kollektion. Dazu arbeitete das amerikanische Label mit dem Graffiti Künstler und Grafikdesigner Bue The Warrior zusammen. Die für den Künstler typischen Street Art Motive wurden dabei gekonnt auf die Caps übertragen. Die kräftigen Farben sprechen für sich und machen den individuellen Style aus. One of our favorite labels for individual headwear is back with a bunch of whole new designs. Of course we’re talking about New Era. After the successful release of the collaboration with artist Jon Burgermann last year, it’s now time for the second edition of the Artist Series. Together with the graffiti artist and graphic designer Bue The Warrior, New Era again created some exceptionally designed pieces. Street Art motives from the artist are transferred on the caps. Der holländische Denim Store Tenue de Nîmes schickt uns immer wieder die neusten Trends & Kollaborationen aus der Denim-Welt. Dieses Mal nahmen sie sich die traditionelle japanische Jeansmarke High John zur Seite und entwickelten gemeinsam eine limitierte Edition von Natural Indigo Denim Jeans. Diese sind an das alte japanische Jeansdesign aus den 1967er Jahren angelehnt und überwältigen den Träger mit einem sehr gutem Schnitt und einem atemberaubendem Blau. Die Jeans bekommt ihr im Online-Store für 219€.

Dutch denim store Tenue de Nîmes and Japan’s oldest jeans brand Big John have teamed up for a limited edition natural indigo denim. The ‘slim-tapered’ collaboration refers to the legendary Big John M1002 from 1967 made from a 14.5 oz jeans fabric. By reducing the dyeing of the Kaihara fabric by 25%, the factory emphasized the traditional bright blue color that is referred to in Japanese as ‘Ruri’. The blue color is considered one of the seven treasures of Buddhism. The yellow selvage is a tribute to the traditional 1960′s fabric made by Cone Mills. You’ll get one for 219€, but hurry up, there are just 24 pairs available. Nach der avantgardistischen SLVR Sportswear gestern, präsentieren wir euch heute wieder sportlichere Styles aus dem Hause Nike. Die neue Spring 2012 Kollektion konzentriert sich dabei auf die drei, von Nike abgedeckten, Kern-Sportarten Running, Fußball und Basketball. Recycled shipping containers have become a popular choice for construction over the past few years, and it looks like the trend is continuing to grow in popularity. This form of architecture has in fact grown so much that global giant Starbucks brand has adopted the trend for one of their many locations. Eine weitere Kollektion die uns fasziniert hat ist die Frühjahr/Sommer Kollektion von Adidas SLVR. Unter diesem Label veröffentlicht Adidas immer wieder avantgardistische Kollektionen, bei denen die Wurzeln in der Sportswear dennoch erkennbar bleiben. Die aktuelle Kampagene wurde dabei von Willy Vanderperre fotografiert, wobei Inspiration aus dem Fechtsport generiert wird. Die für den Sport typische Präzesion und Eleganz mischt der Fotograf mit bunten Farben und schafft so eine lebhafte Atmosphäre. Am besten ihr schaut euch das Video unten selbst an. Another fascinating collection for Spring/Summer 2012 comes from Adidas SLVR. SLVR stands for avant-garde fashion, but still has influences of the Adidas typical sportswear styles. For the latest campaign Willy Vanderperre took inspiration from fencing and translated it into a really impressing video and campaign images. Da wir wahnsinns SUV-Fans sind, hat uns die Nachricht von Jeep besonders gefreut. Der Automobilhersteller startet 2012 eine Aktion namens “Name My Ride“, es geht darum einen Cherokee individuell zu “customizen” und dein Modell dann zu veröffentlichen. Mit ein bisschen Glück gewinnt ihr. Die Jungs von Uncrate nannten diese Version den Jeep Grand Cherokee Stealth, weil er mit der gewaltigen schwarzen Optik einfach jeden umhaut. Probierts mal aus!

Das Münchner Label Beastin‘ präsentiert uns ihr Spring/Summer 2012 Lookbook und erneut sind wir begeistert was das kleine Label zu bieten hat. Der Style ist eine Mischung aus College und Hip-Hop Einflüssen. Neben den Klamotten sind vor allem auch die Caps echte Highlights. Was die Farben angeht, so ist die Kollektion überwiegend in Blau- und Grautönen gehalten. Kräftige Farben sorgen für die nötigen Akzente und runden das Ganze ab. This great streetwear hits us directly from one of our neighbors. The Munich based label Beastin’ presents their Spring/Summer 2012 Lookbook and we’re really excited about it. Their style seems to have college and hip-hop influences and is simply great. Beside the clothes the caps are real highlights. Concerning the colors they mainly used shades of blue and grey.
