34 year-old model/actress Malin Akerman embraces the cover of Shape Magazine this month, where she opens up about her indulgences, energy levels and her good genes:

On her favorite foods:
“Oh, believe me, I have my splurges. I can’t live without chocolate. Though I barely consider it an indulgence because it’s good for you. I also love a thick steak and french fries. I try not to eat them more than once a week, but if they somehow land on the table in front of me, I won’t hold back. You’ve got to allow yourself the things you enjoy or you’ll just be miserable.”

On drinking alcohol:
“I love to drink wine, but when I avoid it, I have so much more energy – and that’s what I need when I’m focusing on my body.”

On what she likes least about her body:
“I’m not going to lie: I was born with good genes. But when I overindulge, I can get a paunch in my belly. And I’ve always wished I had more beef in my booty.”

28 year-old country music singer Miranda Lambert opened up in Self Magazine about her weight, saying that she likes her size 8 figure and that she’d encourage really skinny women to eat:

On not wanting to be too thin:
“I don’t care about being stick-thin. I don’t want stuff to jiggle. Really skinny actresses make me hungry—I see them and think, Honey, you need to eat! I’m lucky I don’t have to live like that. I feel my best when I’m a toned, not flabby, size 8. Women come up to me and say, ‘You’re beautiful and confident, and that makes me feel I can be, too.’ I won’t give up what I enjoy to look perfect. I want to find a happy medium between feeling good about my body and still having a beer and some barbecue.”

On hating exercise:
“I absolutely hate exercise. I love it afterward, of course. But my trainer is so nice, I want to do push-ups to please him!”

Hot mom Jessica Alba (31) recently opened up to iVillage about feeling sexy post-babies, her weight and body image – let’s see what she says:

It’s really amazing how your perspective shifts and your definition of sexy evolves once you become a mother. Before having Honor and Haven, I was super-critical of my looks and worried more about inevitable changes to my body. I couldn’t even say the word “sexy” to describe myself without feeling funny and awkward.

But becoming a mom has definitely made me feel more confident and secure than I ever did in my 20s. Even though I can’t ever get down to my pre-baby weight before having Honor, my jeans don’t zip up the same way, and things just hang differently (all moms know how that goes!), I feel completely comfortable in my skin and my idea of perfection has changed. I don’t really care about my body image anymore because it just doesn’t matter now that I have children. Instead, I focus on my health, feeling strong, and making sure I’m up and running so I can spend that all-important time with the girls.

Having babies also helped me embrace my sexuality. Up until then, I was quite shy about it. But once I experienced how incredible and amazing it was to create a life, it was empowering. Now, I feel freer to express myself and just be me. Through motherhood I really came into my own and, for me, feeling sexy is all about this type of comfort, confidence, and true happiness.

Brooke Burke Does Prevention and Brings Today’s Quotes

On the possibility of getting further breast enhancement procedures:
“I have. When you breast-fed four children, things kind of change. So that’s probably the most likely thing on the radar. I went through a phase where I wanted to have smaller breasts. Sometimes it’s easier in dresses and gowns.”

On how she maintains her fit figure:
“I spend as little time as I possibly can to get the best results – five days a week if I’m lucky, or a minimum of three. I’ll do my own DVD. It’s a 55 minute body sculpting workout that’s old-school moves – squats, side lunges, dips, kicks – that we made more dynamic. You use multiple body parts and move at a pace where you also get cardio benefits. I go to a Pilates Plus class once or twice a week. Today I went to the gym and did 20 minutes of cardio. That’s all the time I had.”

On turning 40:
“Forty is better than 30. I have a better understanding of who I am, what makes me tick, what’s okay and not okay. I’ve had such a great experience professionally in the last three or four years that it really opened my eyes to not procrastinating.”
