Nurul Shafinas Rahman has clinched the Youth Olympic Games bronze medal in Taekwondo in the girls&#39; 55kg division. This is the second Singapore YOG Medal win thus far in the Youth Olympic Games competition so far.

17-year-old Nurul Shafinas Rahman had beaten Kaburee Ioane of Kiribati 9-0 in the quarter-finals to book a place in the semi-finals.

One Singaporean has become the first YOG medal winner for Singapore. 

Daryl Tan became that first YOG medal winner for Singapore when he took the Youth Olympic Games bronze medal in the YOG boys&#39; 55kg taekwondo competition at the Suntec International Convention Centre on 17 August 2010.
