2011 Audi A7 Sportback

The Audi A7 Sportback was unveiled on July 26, 2010, at the “Pinakothek der Moderne München”, a modern art museum located in the center of Munich, Germany.

The car specs are 4.97m long, 1.91m wide, 1.42m tall and with a wheelbase of 2.91m.

The A7 Sportback is the same height as the original four-door executive coupe, the Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class, and is 5cm longer, 4cm wider and has a wheelbase 2cm longer.

The Audi A7 S Line Sportback also features a slightly different front bumper with a new spoiler under the front grille.

The rear of the Audi A7 S Line Sportback shows a new apron and the package also includes re-designed side skirts.

2011 Ford Explorer

After numerous spy shots and a long teaser campaign, Ford has officially unveiled the 2011 Explorer.

Looking like a Taurus-ifed Freestyle, the Explorer features a bold grille, black A-pillars, plastic body cladding, and a clamshell hood.

Inside, the cabin boasts a Volkswagen-ish design, a console-mounted shifter, and seating for up to seven.

The Explorer America concept is built on a unibody platform to reduce weight and improve driveability, migrating from the body-on-frame platform of the current Explorer.

It is designed for up to six passengers, and can tow 3,500 pounds (1,588 kg), (less than half the 7,115 pounds (3,227 kg) capacity of the previous generation) while improving fuel economy by 20 to 30 percent relative to the current V6 Explorer.

The powertrain packages in the concept vehicle include a two-liter four cylinder turbocharged direct injection EcoBoost gas engine with 275 horsepower (205 kW) and 280 ft·lbf (380 N·m) of torque, and a 3.5 liter V6 version EcoBoost with 340 horsepower (250 kW) and up to 340 ft·lbf (460 N·m) of torque.

2011 Audi A7 Sportback

Renault DeZir Supercar

The Renault DeZir is a beautiful electric “Future of new Renaults” car. It will feature a 148 hp mid-mounted electric motor.

This gives the concept rivalry with the Audi E-tron, with 0–60 mph (0–97 km/h) in just five seconds and a top speed of 112 mph (180 km/h).

This is most likley to be in the future of Renault, which will probably be shown on the new Laguna. This has scissor doors, and the interior will be of red leather.

2011 Volkswagen Jetta

The sixth generation Volkswagen Jetta, known as the NCS (New Compact Sedan) during its development, was announced in the North American market in June 2010.

The new model is larger and cheaper to produce than the previous Jetta making the vehicle more competitive against rivals such as the Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic as part of Volkswagen’s goal of reaching sales of 800,000 units in the North American market by 2018.

Production of the vehicle is at Volkswagen’s Puebla, Mexico facility.

VW target of increasing its North America market resulted in creating more affordable mass appeal products.

This forced cost cutting measures to be made, which include lower quality trim material, the return of the 2.0 L 8 valve 115bhp engine as well as rear drum brakes on lower trim models to lower starting price.

Engines from the MK5 Jetta carried over include the 170hp 2.5 L (5-cylinder) as well as the economy-minded 140hp 2.0 TDI (diesel) engine.
