Bring the kids to Albee Square at Fulton Street and Bond Street this summer for live music from some of the best kids’ performers around! Performances will take place Thursdays, May 17 through August 23 from 10:00am-11:00am and promise to be a real treat for children of all ages!

Brooklyn Folk Festival, May 18-20

Featuring more than 30 bands, organizers of the fourth annual Brooklyn Folk Festival promise to transform 27,000 square feet of raw space in Downtown Brooklyn into a music wonderland.

The three-day festival opens May 18 with a special tribute to the late-great, folk-music icon, Woody Guthrie, who would have turned 100 this year. It runs through May 20 at 345 Jay Street (former site of Sid’s Hardware) and will showcase the musical talents of renowned Americana singers, local and national folk bands and musicians from around the world.
