The vulnerability is present when user input is either incorrectly filtered for string literal escape characters embedded in SQL statements or user input is not strongly typed and thereby unexpectedly executed. Web pages which accepts parameters from user, and make SQL query to the database, are targeted. For Example, A web page with username and password, fires SQL query on the database to check whether a user has entered valid name and/or password or not. With SQL Injection, it is possible for us to send crafted user name and/or password field that will change the SQL query and thus grant us something else.

What is Required?
1) Any Web Browser
2) Some Basic SQL (Structured Query Language) Queries such as 'SELECT', 'INSERT', 'UPDATE', 'DELETE', etc. along with their attributes (i.e Syntax).

What you should look for?
Try to look for pages that allow you to submit data, i.e: login page, search page, feedback, etc. Sometimes, HTML pages use POST command to send parameters to another ASP/ASPX page. Therefore, you may not see the parameters in the URL. However, you can check the source code of the HTML, and look for "FORM" tag in the HTML code. You may find something like this in some HTML codes:

Everything between the
and
tags have potential parameters that might be useful.

OR

You should look for pages like ASP, ASPX, JSP, CGI, or PHP.
Try to look especially for URL that takes parameters, like:
http://example.com/login.asp?id=10

Is it Vulnerable?
Start with a single quote trick. Input something like:
hi' or 1=1--
Into login, or password, or even in the URL. Example:
Login: hi' or 1=1--
Pass: hi' or 1=1--
http://example.com/login.asp?id=hi' or 1=1--

You can do this with a hidden field, just view the source HTML from the site, save it in your hard disk, modify the URL and hidden field accordingly.
Example:

If luck is on your side, you will get login without any login name or password.

But why ' or 1=1-- ?
Take an asp page that will link you to another page with the following URL:
http://example.com/search.asp?category=sports
In this URL 'category' is the variable name and 'sports' is it's value.
Here this request fires following query on the database in background.
SELECT * FROM search WHERE category='sports'
Where 'search' is the name of table which is already present in some database.
So, this query returns all the possible entries from table 'search' which comes under the category 'sports'.

Now, assume that we change the URL into something like this:
http://example.com/search.asp?category=sports' or 1=1--
Now, our variable 'category' equals to "sports' or 1=1-- ", which fires SQL query on database something like:
SELECT * FROM search WHERE category='sports' or 1=1--'
The query should now select everything from the 'search' table regardless if category is equal to 'sports' or not.
A double dash "--" tell MS SQL server to ignore the rest of the query, which will get rid of the last hanging single quote (').
Sometimes, it may be possible to replace double dash with single hash "#".

However, if it is not an SQL server, or you simply cannot ignore the rest of the query, you also may try
' or 'a'='a
It should return the same result.
Depending on the actual SQL query, you may have to try some of these possibilities:

' or 1=1--
" or 1=1--
or 1=1--
' or 'a'='a
" or "a"="a
') or ('a'='a
'or''='

Countermeasures ?
Filter out character like ' " - / \ ; NULL, etc. in all strings from:
* Input from users
* Parameters from URL
* Values from cookie

Some Sites On which SQL works

Now lets try this sql injection on some sites ..

* First site i found is RIL ( reliance industry limited )... a very big site but still its prone to SQL injection even a lay man can hack this site for admin privilege..u dont belive me ..ok check it out .. click here ... open this page ( note : u shd have firefox to hack this site on IE this trick does't work ) ... ok open this page and in user name column type ' or 1=1-- and copy this and paste this in password section too and press enter ... tada u have hacked the site ...

* next site i'm gonna discuss in sirfdosti.com its a site like orkut ( social networking site) this site can be hacked through SQL injection . After opening the site type h' or '1'='1 and copy this and paste in password section too ..tada ..u have hacked another site ..its simple is't it ?but it is result of poor SQL programming ...i know many more sites like this ...some are karorimalcollege.com ( its one of the college in delhi) , aamirkhan.com ( its a official site of amir khan ) ...

My New Blog For GGSIPU

Hey everyone, i've recently made a new blog for helping the GGSIPU students...It contains all the important latest news, addmission related info, previous year papers etc..Below is the link of my blog..

http://ggsipu-info.blogspot.com

Do check it out... Or ever wanted to hack into someone’s admin account? Well here is a method which exploits yet another windows bug.

1. Have you ever noticed that if you press your system’s SHIFT key >= 5 times continuously a pop up windows occurs with the name “Sticky Keys”? If it doesn’t pop up on your comp, then may be your shortcut is turned off. For enabling it, goto Control
Panel -> Accessibility Options. In the accessibility options under the
keyboard tab, in sticky keys , click on settings and enable the
shortcut for sticky keys. And u can do this even with a guest account.
2. Finally if the following 2 requirements are setup on your system, then you are all set to enter into your admin’s account.

* On Pressing SHIFT >= 5 times, a pop up should appear.
* The windows System32 directory should be writable.

Concept:
When u press, the SHIFT key >= 5 times, a file with the name “sethc.exe” is
executed. You can verify this in TASK manager (don’t close the pop up
window). This file is located in C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder, or
where ever your windows is installed.

The Vulnerability

1. When SHIFT key is pressed >=5 times, windows executes a file named
“sethc.exe” located in system32 folder. It doesn’t even check if its the
same file. Also it runs with the privilege of the CURRENT USER
which is executing the file i.e if u have logged on as a guest then in
the TASK manager under processes, it shows your user name as guest.
2. The file executes even if u log off, and have the windows login screen is
showed up, BUT THIS TIME SINCE NO USER HAS LOGGED IN IT RUNS WITH
SYSTEM PRIVILEGE.

Exploitation
If u understand this much, then the exploitation is very simple for you. What we will do is that,
we pick cmd.exe , copy it at a folder other than system32, (because windows
won’t allow u to copy) rename it to sethc.exe, go to system32 folder,
and paste it. Windows will ask, “that another file exists, do u want to
replace?” and after pressing OK, you have replaced the sethc.exe with ur own
cmd.exe. Now if u press SHIFT key >=5 times, a command prompt will
pop-up.

Finally

1. Now log-off or restart. When you reach the windows
login screen, press the shift key >=5 times. A command prompt will
pop up with SYSTEM privilege.
2. Enter the normal commands as follows:
3. net user username /add
4. net user localgroup administrators username /add
5. And a new user called username with admin privilege will be added.

And thats it, you have admin privilege of the system and you can do what ever you want to with it.

Hiding your fake admin profile
Now you surely don’t want the real admin to track you. Here is what you will have to do to hide yourself from login screens as well as from control panel

1. Goto registry editor and open this place.
2. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList]
3. Here create a new DWORD value, write its name as the “user name” that u created for your admin account.

Thats it now you are invisible but still admin of the system. Live as admin forever and keep screwing the real admin forever.

Last but not the least (IMPORTANT)
Windows has two type of login screens:

1. Where the accounts are listed with some pictures.
2. Where u have to write username and password.

After making the hidden account u will have to login through the 2nd step only. If ur login screen is of Type 1, press ALT-CTRL-DEL twice to get the 2nd type screen.

Thats it!!!

NOTE:
This is a sureshot way to gain admin, if u r a lamer or a newbie
then please do some googling.
I have written almost every detail.

Thanks for reading this far
Chrome will be a browser optimized for the things that they see as important, and it’ll be interesting to see how it evolves.” Mozilla’s Europe president, Tristan Nitot also chimed in during an interview with PCPro, stating that they don’t view this as a direct attack on Firefox, even if it did catch them by surprise. “I’ll take another example: just before Microsoft launched Vista, it invited us [to work with it] so that Firefox works better on Windows Vista. Because for it, Firefox being a top-tier application that was very successful - we now have 200 million users around the world - it could not afford to have Firefox run slowly on Vista. Therefore, it helped us improve Firefox for Vista. That’s just the same for Google. It wants Firefox to perform well with its applications, that’s for sure. Indeed, it even wants IE to perform well with Gmail and the rest. It’s just that it has very limited control over this. That’s why Google’s been frustrated and it is launching this Chrome browser.”

Artifical Intelligence for your blog

If you have been looking for a way to set up an artificially intelligent chat agent on your site without all the fuss of coding and training then you have come to the right place. Jeeney AI is now available in windowed form free to use on your own personal website or blog. A Windows PC
2. An always-on broadband (DSL or cable) internet connection

Step 1: Download and install Serv-U FTP

Serv-U FTP is a nice windows FTP server app that has a simple to use interface. It's been around for years, it works flawlessly. The newest version adds more security through SSL support and the best part of all is that the personal version which allows for two FTP logins is completely free.

Now, don't get confused because they have several levels of pricing and several editions, but you can download a single package from here that includes all versions. Once installed, you will have a "corporate edition" that after thirty days will become the "personal edition." If you follow along this tutorial, you won't be using any special features so you shouldn't see anything change once the application reverts to the free version. And by all means, if you decide to use this on a machine at work, make your employer pay for a license, but as long as this is on your home computer, free personal use is fine.

Step 2: Complete setup and create a user login

After the initial setup is done, Serv-U should start the administrator and ask you to create a new user account. Start off by first putting in the domain name you used to setup your dynamic DNS. The names I'm using in these figures are for demonstration purposes. (Click to enlarge image.)

To keep your FTP server for your own use, be sure to disable Anonymous access by selecting "No" when asked.

When it asks for your Home Directory, it's probably best to just say C:\ for your home windows machine. This will give you easy access to any file on the main drive. Be sure you say No to locking your own user in the home directory, otherwise you might not be allowed to switch to other drives.

Step 3: Grant proper rights to any drives you have

When you are done creating a new user account, start the FTP server and the Serv-U Administrator application. Expand the Domains tree to show your server, then the Users tree to find your account. With your user selected, click the Dir Access tab on the right pane, as shown. (Click to enlarge.)

Highlight the drive letter and fill all the checkboxes on the right side except for "Execute". This will give you total access to upload, download, delete, create, and make any directory changes as well. If you're nervous about your account having too much access, you can probably get away with just read or read and write access for most things. Also be sure to add any other drives on your computer (I have a second hard drive with the letter E:\ on mine, as shown in the figure).

Step 4: Be sure you have outside access to your new FTP server

Like many of you reading this, I have a router/firewall/wireless access point at home that shares my broadband connection with every internet device in the house. Most router/firewall/wireless points hand out internal IP addresses and keep your computers safely away from outside access, but if you're running your own FTP or web server at home, you'll want to poke a hole in the firewall and map port 21 to your home computer running Serv-U.

Here's a screenshot of my D-Link wireless router's advanced settings page where I'm mapping port 21 to my home computer, which is known by the internal-only 192.168.1.1 IP address.

For regular FTP connections, map port 21 to your computer, for secure FTP connections, map port 990 to your computer on the network (or just map both).

Step 5: Test it out

The last thing to do is to test out your FTP server by firing up a FTP client and try connecting to your own server. Even though you are using the very computer you are testing, if you try to FTP using the outside address (your dynamic DNS name), it will be exactly like connecting from the outside.

Here's a partial screenshot of me using WS_FTP Pro. On the right pane, I'm connected to my own FTP server (I called it "home" and saved it to a profile) and I'm looking at my desktop files. (Click to enlarge.)

Optional Super Bonus Step 6: Keep your FTP secure like Fort Knox

The last step is optional, and depends on how you will access your home server's FTP. If you share a large corporate network or ever want to access your home server from an open wireless access point, by all means set Serv-U to allow secure (SSL) connections. This will encrypt your password and any files that are transmitted, keeping prying eyes from knowing how to access your home server or what you did during your connections.

It's pretty easy to do in Serv-U. Bring up your Serv-U Administrator application, click your home server's domain name under the Domains area. On the right pane, there is a setting marked Security and change the pull-down to Allow SSL/TLS and regular sessions (see below) or for even more security set it to Allow only SSL/TLS sessions. Then hit Apply to save this setting.

When you connect to it the first time, you might get a warning about a bogus certificate provided by Serv-U. Just set your FTP program to always trust it and you won't see this warning again.

That's it. Now you'll never forget a file at home because anything on your home computer will be accessible from anywhere else on earth.

Remote Hacking Using Yuri R.A.T

Hack any computer,U can operate or hack any other computer from your computer,U can hack his computer,copy files from his computer to your computer without his knowledge & put files from your computer to his/her computer.

Remote Hacking is 90% undetectable .

Here we learn to hack a computer any where in this whole world.
A Major Notice If you are behind a router you will need to port forward your router. To do this you can use a DMS. Its hard to explain as every router has a different interface ( homepage that has a different layout ) so i suggest you go to Google and search portforward.com. It will teach you how to port forward your router there.

To begin with you will need these three tools,download them given below:

1.Daemon_Crypt

2.PC_GUard

3.Yuri_Rat

After downloading these tools ur first step is to open Yuri Rat and then click on server build

You should now have the following the screen

In this screen I want you to put your IP address into the DNS/IP section.

To get IP Address go to Start > Run > Type CMD and hit enter. When the black box appears type in IPCONFIG. You will then have your IP Address

Port: You Can Leave As Default (-7898-)

Assigned Name: Doesn’t effect how the server will work its just to keep you more organized so if you wanted to hack your friend “JOE” and specifically make this server for him then you may want to type something like “JOES TROJAN”.

Server Install Name: You should leave this as default as I myself don’t know what the difference is as every server you make is named server when it is 1st created anyway. Do not change it as it may make problems but I am not sure.

Ok as you can see there are more settings on the right hand side. I am going to recommend you settings for different purposes.

To Hack A Friend For Fun: Uncheck Everything Unless You Want To Do Optional
(OPTIONAL) Melt Server - Your server will disappear into another folder
(OPTIONAL) Custom Icon if you want to make it more believable or something then get an icon of super Mario or something you get my drift

To Find Out Valuable Information: Check Everything

Now You Are Finished Click Build.

Your server will then be saved to your C:\ or Hard Drive which ever you know it as. Now we are going to make the server about 90% Undetectable. Only once has one of my servers been detected by an anti virus and I think it was a Norton not sure which version. Ive scanned more then once with Kasper Sky & Symantec Anti Virus and every time they said its clean so lets begin

Open Up Daemon Crypt

Select Your File by clicking browse and going to the folder your server is in. If you have not moved it, it will most likely be in C:\

So Now You Have This

Click On Crypt and then you can close Daemon Tools

Now Install Your Pc Guard for Win32

When you open it you should get this

Ok you have to do basically the same thing as what you did with daemon tools. Click Browse and then find your server so that you have this

You then want to click on the General Settings and put these settings

Ok now you want to go to customization and make sure nothing is ticked

For the last step you want to click the protection methods tab and set it to plain. And then click on protect

Your server is now undetectable =)

Ok so now we created our server and everything is ready to go. Now our real work start trapping, say ur friend this is nice article on hacking or a sexy pic of a star, or u can trap him/her depending upon thier likes, The Server has been send to their system & they have opened it. If you checked the melt server option then the server will basically evaporate into their computer.

Ok so now you have the server running on there comp and it has opened up the default port for you to connect to.

Once again open Yuri Rat and click on listen. Yuri rat will then listen for your online servers that you have gave to people running on the default port 7898. If the person who you sent the rat to is not online you cant connect. When the server you sent out to his/her a balloon notification will pop up. Note that yuri rat should still be listening for the servers. The server will show up in yuri rat. You right click and press connect. And there you go. you are now successfully connected to your victim

Now withoutt up-loading plugins from yuri rat to his/hers pc u r able to operate certain files or programs such as download files from there pc & place ur files onto his/her pc.

When you are connected click on plug ins and them upload all of them.

You will then have access to keyloggers, screen capture and much more. If you get stuck click on the help button and it will tel you more about plugins

Phishing attacks (Orkut and other sites)

Disclaimer : This is for educational purpose only, phishing is illegal and should not be practiced for real hacking purposes even u may get banned from the servers.

Orkut and other sites Hacking 100% Working

First of all u need phishin pages that may contain php script to recieve passwords and user names on your servers, i found phishing pages of many famous sites (orkut, yahoo, rapidshare and many more ) u can download them from button below.

<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; A the successful people in world don't work hard they work smart and one thing that seperates achievers from loosers is "They love what they do ".

We all want good marks right ?? why what will good marks will get u ? Many academic rewards such as an unquestionable open door to graduate studies, to excellency scholarships and u become hero of class and most important u become star in teacher's eyes ( thus getting very good marks in practicals too :D ) All the honours usually go to the top students, and having good marks is a good way to work up the list.

To score good marks in your exams it is essential that you study hard. It may sound cliched, your friends and family would tell you the same but it is not the whole truth. Many students study hard and yet are not able to get desired scores in their exams. Thats the time where u need not to get demoralised, rather u should try to figure out where u lacked. Your dedication towards work is what matters not the outcome of it. All of the top achievers I know are life-long learners, Looking for new skills, insights, and ideas. If they're not learning, they're not growing... not moving toward excellence.

Though marks are very rewarding thing to cry for but i don’t think marks is only criterea for distinguishing between the two candidates appearing for the same job. Getting good marks without any prior goal or aim in life is useless, in my opinion, creativity, open mind, dedication, self-confidence and personal experiences are much more valuable assets than only academic excellency. If you could spot rich opportunities swiftly, make big decisions quickly and move into action immediatelyonly then u can achieve ur aim or goal.

Most of the time, the efforts are concentrated on the studies, and activities such as volunteering, playing sports, internet and chatting with friends, participating in events or simply doing something from which u get happiness are put aside for the benefit of a few percents on a mark sheet ?? These activities are what make us really develop our creativity, experiences and make us feel really happy, doesn’t the quest for high marks then kill this happiness? Of course, it can be replaced temporarily by the pride of reaching the top 10 in an exam or a course, but I don’t believe it can last as long as discovery of the world or just the simple happiness of having a life outside of the school environment.
Of course, as an average student, I try to stay in the middle, enjoying myself at college, persuing my hobbies ( i like robotics and programming very much and i think i could do something **big** in it :D ) while working hard to deserve the marks that will get me where I want to go and feel proud of myself without any guilt of missing out on anything.

<img width='1' height='1' software called phun
as the name suggests this software is really very amazing, its like real time 2-d simulation game where u can play with laws of physics like never before .

It heavily concentrates on giving players just enough tools to envision their ideas though there are no set objectives but player is provided with basics tools like springs, solid cirles, rectangles ..joints and etc and by using these tool complicated devices can be built such as mechanical calculators, boolean gates, rockets, weapons and cars. check out the video below

<param name="movie" c#

Hi friends, in this post i'll tell you how to control parallel port using c#, paralle port is long 25 pins port used for controlling many external devices (toy car, leds, stepper motor etc..). Lets first understand how does parallel port works.

Some Basic of Parallel Port

Parallel port contains twenty five pins, in signaling, open signals are "1" and close signals are "0" so it is like binary system . To control the external devices we may use data pins (D0 to D7) as shown in picture below.

When data pin is set to logical "1" then it gets +5 v thus allowing us to run any appliance that works on 5V. For controlling LEDs we can't directly use 5v as they work on 3v so we will add resistance of 470 ohm, below is the diagram is the diagram of our circuit that we will be using to control LED.

Code to make the LEDs blink

Firts of all u need a to download inpout32.dll to control the paralell port data pin. Once u've dll copy it in debug and release folder of your program folder..

Now lets start the coding part ..

First add a class to import the refrence of the inpout32.dll so that it can used in the program .

using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.Linq;
using System.Text;
using System.Runtime.InteropServices;

namespace ConsoleApplication1
{
class PortInterop
{
[DllImport("inpout32.dll", EntryPoint = "Out32")]
public static extern void Output(int address, int value);
}
}
So you have to import inpout32.dll to your debug or release directory. By the way, the main thing in my Form1.cs is
PortAccess.Output.
It takes two variables which are address and value. If your data ports are set in "0x378" you will have to write "888" because "378" Hexadecimal is equal to "888" in decimal. (Default LPT1 is set to "378") If you are using LPT2 which is "0x278" you have to write for the address "632" . Dont get confused from these default config is LPT1 so use 888 in ur program if it does't work then replace 888 with 632 thats it!!

I've used pretty simple logic for giving blinking effect to leds...

Led 1 (glow) --> Time Delay ---> Led 2 (glow) --> Time Delay ---> Led 3 (glow) --> Time Delay ---> Led 4 (glow) --> Time Delay ---> Led 5 (glow) --> Time Delay ---> Led 6 (glow) --> Time Delay ---> Led 7 (glow) --> Time Delay ---> Led 8 (glow) ---> Time Delay and cycle continues ...

Below is the code form of above logic ..

while (true)// To keep

leds blinking forever...
{
PortInterop.Output(888, 1);//to set data pin 1 to logical one thus making
                //first led to blink ...
System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(100);//to add time delay of 100 milli secs..
PortInterop.Output(888, 2);
System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(100);
PortInterop.Output(888, 2);
System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(100);
PortInterop.Output(888, 4);
System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(100);
PortInterop.Output(888, 8);
System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(100);
PortInterop.Output(888, 16);
System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(100);
PortInterop.Output(888, 32);
System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(100);
PortInterop.Output(888, 64);
System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(100);
PortInterop.Output(888, 128);
System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(100);
}
I've also uploaded the video of aboce tutorial check it out( for more clarity please watch it in full screen mode ) ..

Port can be used to control almost any electrical devices and its easy to program that why i've making use of it in my projects, i hope u enjoyed the tutorial for more c# tutorials u can subscribe this blog ....

<form style="border: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204); on April 29, 2009. A Phase 5 alert is a “strong signal that a pandemic is imminent and that the time to finalize the organization, communication, and implementation of the planned mitigation measures is short.”

What are the Symptoms?

Symptoms of swine flu are like regular flu symptoms and include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills, and fatigue.

Some people have reported diarrhea and vomiting associated with swine flu. Those symptoms can also be caused by many other conditions, and that means that you and your doctor can't know, just based on your symptoms, if you've got swine flu. It takes a lab test to tell whether it's swine flu or some other condition.

         Check out the video below for more information ...

How to prevent ?

The CDC is advising people to wash hands frequently to prevent the spread of germs. While both instant sanitizers as well as soap and water are proven methods of germ prevention, local doctors and the CDC recommend one over the other.
"Good old handwashing is always the preferred method," said Dr. Nilmarie Guzman, with the University of Florida Infectious Disease Division at Shands.

It is recommended to 50 to 100 mcgs of Selenium and 400 IUs of Vitamin E daily. Taken together I've found that they strengthen the part of the immune system that fights viral infections.

And wearing mask at public places .

How is it transmitted?

Not from eating pork!

It is transmitted from person to person, probably the same way as a seasonal flu, through coughing and sneezing, or when the hand touches the mouth or nose after being in contact with the virus.

Is there a vaccine?

There is a vaccine for swine flu for pigs, but not for humans. The only vaccine that exists for people corresponds to an older strain of the virus, which makes it less effective against this form of swine flu. As well, the vaccine for human seasonal flu does not protect against swine flu.

Can we treat swine flu?

Antiretroviral drugs used to treat the classic flu should help in the case of pandemic. The swine flu viruses responsible for the cases in the United States have shown a resistance to Amantadine, but a susceptible to Oseltamivir (Tamiflu), a medication used for avian flu. The US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) also advise using Zanamivir (Relenza).<badvertiser>
</badvertiser>

Stepper Motor Controller

Hi everyone, after working overnite me and my friend succeded in controlling stepper motor using pc parallel port, we made a software (written in c#) from which angular velocity, direction of motor can be controlled...and results are amazing . Make sure the cops are there."

Rihanna told cops that the bogus call enraged Chris Brown.

He said something to the effect of "You are really fu**ed up now. I'm going to kill you." This statement is the basis of the criminal threats charge.

At that point, according to the police report, Chris Brown allegedly began a violent attack with his fists. At some during this, Rihanna took the keys out of the ignition of Brown's rented Lamborghini and threw them outside, further angering him.

And there's this: Rihanna told cops this was not the first time Brown hit her. She referred to it as an ongoing and escalating abusive relationship.

We're told the criminal threats charge is based on that one statement Brown allegedly made. A law enforcement source told celeb news site TMZ, "It's kinda weak, and the D.A. is not going to prosecute a high profile case like this unless it's solid."

That's why it was kicked back for further investigation.

Given the brutal nature of the assault, which the pictures clearly show - there contusions on her face, swollen eyes, cut lip, bloody nose, bite marks on fingers and arm - a felony domestic battery charge is virtually a done deal.

That, however, is a less serious offense than making criminal threats.
