Hey everyone!!!  I hope you have all been doing awesome!!! I’m popping in today to share a BEAUTIFUL Wedding sneak-peek for an AWESOME couple that got married earlier this month – Mike & Jaime!! I LOVE this couple, they are so great and its really been a joy to get to know them and it was an honor to be a part of thier big day!!!  Not to mention Jaime and her SUPER support bridemaids that kept checking on *me* all day with my lovely morning/all-day sickness… that really shouldn’t have been on their radar considering I was just fine and made it thru – but that’s just the type of people they are – wonderful, wonderful people you just truly enjoy being around all day! Sick or not, I had a BALL! We got some super great shots, despite the fact it rained all day except maybe 15 minutes, haha!! ( Shocking I know for this year, huh? NOPE – lol!)

Mike & Jaime I hope your Honeymoon was BEYOND wonderful and that you guys had an amazing time together – you totally deserve every single moment of it. I {heart} you both and I hope you LOVE your sneak-peek and can enjoy them as you await your beautiful proofs that are weeks and weeks away!!! ♥♥♥

Miss Jaime – I swear to you,  in Set #2 – that 2nd picture in the top row?? HELLO. I love that shot SO MUCH! I knew when we shot it you looks amazingly beautiful but seeing it later just cofirmed it – YOU ARE STUNNING!!! I love that shot of you SO much *heart* You rock, you beaufitul hottie!!

Okay guys – that’s all for my wedding peek!!! I AM feeling much better the past few days as far as nausea goes!! YAY!! I have been fighting some headaches on & off that are not so pleasant however – they are not everyday so I’m thinking my pregnant-self is getting past the worst and starting to ease into this 2nd trimester with more days of feeling good again!! HURRAY!! Thank you EVERYONE – you have all been so wonderful and supportive. Hey guys!

  In case you haven’t noticed – things have been busy-busy here! I wanted to post and give you a heads up on what’s going on for the rest of 2009 – PLEASE read thru it - whether you are a current client, soon to be new client, or would like to book soon! In case you didn’t know we are expecting Baby #3 next April!!! This is VERY exciting, but this baby is being very hard on his/her mommy already!! I have had a rough few weeks with the morning sickness that just seems to last ALL day! Why do they call is MORNING sickness when its ALL DAY LONG?? huh, huh, huh? interesting.  ;) … Needless to say it’s slowing me down more than I would hope, but I am doing my very best to get as much done as I possibly can!!  I have been shooting like crazy, and I wish I was able to post Sneak-peeks for all of these beautiful sessions but I just find my blog is at the very bottom of my work list and never seems to get too!! …Hopefully we can get past 1st trimester soon and my blog can get up there on my to-do ist since it makes me SO happy! *giggle* plus you guys,  I’m so sappy lately my posts would probably be 99% me crying over images and 14 pages of “me talking” about each shot, LOL!!! …Probably much better for you guys this way - I’m sparing you from the sap!!!  Okay on to the “news”…

BOOKING for the remainder of 2009!!!

- OCTOBER IS FULL. Due to this crazy weather, the small windows I have will be dedicated to raindates so I’m sorry, no more sessions for October 09.  NOVEMBER & DECEMBER:  November does have a few dates open, I have about 4 appt’s open on Saturdays and only 2 mondays open. NO SESSIONS THANKSGIVING WEEKEND!!! Sorry but nope – closed that weekend!! If you are interested, please EMAIL me at shellie@shelliebenson.com ASAP. December remember I ONLY shoot Newborns and Baby Planners!!!   That just means if you are in Baby Stages and you are due to come in during the month of December you can still book and if you HAVE a baby in December and would like a newborn session or to start a Baby Plan, you may still book as well!!  You cant control your due date and i LOVE NEWBORNS – I will never turn one away if I can at all help it!!! *wink*

ATTENTION BABY PLANNERS!  – IF you need to come in during November or December and you haven’t booked, PLEASE do soo within the next couple weeks (by email!)

ALL APPOINTMENTS!!  – We are making some changes as far as schedule and hours. There will be a new Voicemail that will let you know as well here soon, but we’ll put it on the website and here on the blog. At this time ALL appointments must to be made by email. I repeat - ALL appointments!! We are trying a new scheduling process and not just one person will be doing bookings, and email is THE way to handle it at this time! Plus its better for you guys because we can usually get you answered faster and we can just print it out and save it for your appointment!! That’s a super helpful thing!!! Trying to simplify, my peeps!!!

BOOKING FOR  2010!! – many people have asked about booking for 2010 – YES, please do! Due to the fact we will be expect next April, that’s going to limit our sessions next Spring, so if you would like to book for the winter, Spring and Summer you absolutely may!!! You guys know my calendar fill up quickly so grab whatever you need too while you can. Im going to guess most of April will be out? It will really depend on how I feel and all of that jazz – I might surprise myself!

WEDDINGS 2010!! - we wont be booking weddings for 2010 until after July 15th due to the peanut on the way!! If you have a wedding July 15th or later – shoot us an email!!!

As always…proofs takes 2-3 weeks to veiw after your session is shot, Orders take 2-3 weeks once payment is received, and STORYBOOKS take an additional 3+ weeks due to design and order process!!

IF you guys have any other questions, please email us!! We will try and get the voicemail changed ASAP so you know if you call. Thanks for being SO wonderful this year guys!!! After our “July of Doom” and the deaths and then trying to get caught up and then the baby and being sooo sick?? I can’t even TELL you how much I love each one of you and how much I appreciate your love and support!!!! It means sooooooooooooooo much to us. We are so blessed to have each and every one of you. Its been a trying year – Im such a “work-aholic, go, go gooooo” type person and 2009 has been the most challenging for me and slowed me down more than I like to be slowed down!!  BUT, so many wonerful things have became from it. We are truly blessed. Truly, truly blessed. God just has  His plan – even if we *think* we have our own – He reminds us who’s in charge. Its a great thing!!!!!

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii my beautiful blog friends! I have missed you guys SO MUCH!!! Okay so I haven’t been able to post an sneak-peeks from some AWESOME sessions and its really depressing, but I have just been TOO TOO busy! In case you are not a Facebook freak – like me – You may not have heard the news…I’m growing Baby Benson #3 in my tummy right now as I speak!! Eeeeeeeeeeeks!! I know, I know – we said we were all done with our family of 4, but the Lord just had different plans for us SO we are very excited over this brand new information and this baby is sure to be a tremendous blessing to us – but growing a baby is HARD WORK! *giggle*… As most of you know I don’t “require” sleep – I live on caffeine and crazy Um, so this has been a HUGE adjustment for me! My body thinks that since I’m growing this adorable little peanut, I need to sleep. A lot. ….its WEIRD! So add the “must sleep” to the still not caught up from July and you have once non-stop Shellie she she is awake!! (….oh and can I just tell you guys?? I’m THRILLED that Storybooks are soooooooooooooooo popular, but WOW, I have been making so many I feel like all I do is design!! Thank you for being so patient! – they are worth the wait, I want on of each for myself, LOL!)

Okay okay okay, enough about me and the peanut Time for a SNEAK PEEK!!  {{{FINALLY}}} This is Erin! Shes a 2010 Senior and oh boy did we have so much fun. We shot at the studio, we shot at their barn and then our at the big red barn too! It was super fun, I cant wait to she you some. They even have a basketball court in their barn its COOL!

I love that first one, I had to make it bigger Shes adorable! I loved all of the shots out in the tall green grass – so pretty!

Little E is ONE! I did the pic’s for this peek a week ago and I am finally getting to post them so his mommy & daddy can get a peek!! I still cant believe his is one!!!!!!! They time FLEW.

I love these…I really, really love these. The day and the light was so lovely that day *sigh* Plus this is E’s last sneak-peek for his baby plan! *sniff* Im so sad!!

Updates!

I thought I better post some info here on the blog since its usually the 1st place you guys check! Save me so much needed time!

Here is the down low…I’m still very much trying to get caught up from the “July of Doom” as we like to call it. Its proving to be quite the challenge as life simply doesn’t slow down for even a second. I promise I’m working my tail off to get everything done to the very best of my ability – most for you guys know I don’t sleep anyway, so that’s not changing, haha! *wink* I just got a couple BIG things wrapped up, so that is going to really help me get caught up on sessions however, I am about a full week behind so if you had a session in the last couple weeks and are awaiting your proofs, instead of the normal 2 weeks, It’s going to be about 3 weeks, instead.  

  Also, as far as booking for the rest of 2009 !THIS IS SOOOOO IMPORTANT… I am getting much more limited as too whats available. I realllllllllllllly need you guys to email me at shellie@shelliebenson.com if you are hoping to book. Its so much easier for me to handle when its in writing and “on my own time frame” where as if I need to email you at 2am, I can! Also with so many dates pending everyday, the availability changes DAILY so its easier for me to remember what was offered up!

   THIS YEAR we are offering a DAY of Mini-Sessions! This is specifically for you guys who ONLY need Christmas Cards and a few images and just do not have the need for a full session! There are limited appointments open and its SEPTEMBER 26th ONLYand from 10-7. I announced this on Facebooka couple weeks ago, so a few times are booked. If you are interested, please shoot us an email ASAP to ensure your time slot!! Mini Sessions are $150, $200 and $250 – all include Christmas cards and some keepsakes, with the option of adding on if you need too.

If you have already had your session this year and would JUST like to order Christmas cards, you certainly may. Just contact me and get the Gallery info and you can shop away!

   If you guys have ANY questions, please just email me. Sneak-peeks as always I cant do for everyone, but I do as many as I can! This week I might have to combine a few sessions into one post so you guys can see *some*, at least!

I’m back! This is “B” and oh my SAKES is this boy cute?! His curly hair and his blue eyes – *love*- You will love him too, he’s adoooooorable!!!!  I had so much fun with him, he can come back anytime andyou’ll hear no complaints from me, haha!!

Eeeeeeeeks, I could just keep him!!! I mean really – how CUTE is that boy?!?!?! I {heart} him bunches!

Yeah, I know was supposed to post peeks everyday but I was on a proofing ROLL, so I didnt make the time! I’ll post 2 today, PROMISE! Here is the 1st one! This is is “A” – she is one SUPER ADORABLE little lady! Plus the daughter of a good friend of mine so I’m rather biased, LOL! You will agree though, when you see her!

Hi everyone!

  So, I’m a day behind on sneak-peeks. Am I surprised? Um no, I’m late on everything lately since July! I’m still not caught up and life doesn’t slow down, so what can I do?! Just keep plugging away!!! I’ll be short & sweet all week I’m sure, but I’ll try and get as many peeks up as I can. Some just may have to be a double feature and save me some time

   Here is baby “K” and oh boy is he SO adorable! We spend awhile getting him to get sleepy, but it was worth it. We needed a pic of him to match one of his older stud-muffin brother from last year so they could be hung side by side! Well that left just a little window of options – BUT I think we nailed it! LOOK at this sweet little man!!!

Oh can I just share something silly? For those of you who have in-person ordered, and we had to deal with cords, wires, or laptops – I’m SO happy to tell you my wonderful hubby has me set up as wireless now, so THAT will no longer happen, WAHOOOOOOOOOOO!! …for those of you who felt my frustration will totally understand why I’m so GIDDY, and those of you who don’t have a clue, I’m sorry – but I just had to share because its AWESOME, and I’m a dork! LOL!! …If you would LIKE to in-person order, as always just ask, and you can see the JOY of wireless, *giggle*

I love LOTS of sneak-peeks to show, but I wanted to show off some of my Brother-in-law and my sister today – just because I’m rather fond of them, LOL!! So many great shots, it was so much fun. Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd here we are for yet another sneak-peek!  Im drowning in proofs people DROWNING! *giggle* I’m so over-dramatic, don’t ya love me?  It’s nearly 2 am and I’m still up proofing so I thought I would give my Claw, er hand – a break and post another preview!  I promise I will be short and sweet because I just wanna get to the cutest face pics, LOL!

Baby E was just in a few months back but yet she changed so much again! WHY do they grow up so fast?! She is A-flippin’-dorable, folks *wink* OH and her mommy is so awesome I love her too. She went to Italy like a month ago and brought me pics to see – HELLO, I had NO desire to go there, until now. It’s amazing. I wanna go just to take pics!!
