Working the day away and I promised I would try to get a sneak-peek up for this lovely family! Well I needed a little break and my crazy 17 month old decided to take a nap so YAY! I had time!!! Um, I loved this session – it’s out at the barn, and you all know I love it there plus we just had so much fun, sweet happy little baby, and the day was just perfect – great weather, not to hot – BEAUTIFUL!  Needless to say it was very hard to narrow it down – there are so.many.pics. I went a little too shoot crazy lol!

Hey guys!!!!

   I decided the best place to give you guys an update is here on the blog so everyone gets the same info when they come check in!!!   Last week was a whirlwind of excitement and nerves as my sister was told my the Dr last Monday that her Blood Pressure was too high and it was time to get that baby out!….um, wait - the baby that they have been trying for countless years to have, AND is her FIRST born AND we didn’t know the boy or girl yet?!?!?! OH MY.  Well….if you guys know me at ALL you know my sister is the closest person to me in the world, excluding my hubby and kiddos, and sooooooo Shellie went into a little (um, alot) of panic mode!!! We went into making arrangements so I could be there 24/7 for her ( that’s not easy with 3 kiddos at home, but we made it work!!!) and pretty much since Tuesday I had been running errands for her, making yummy food for post-baby, and then of course starting our hospital slumber party Tuesday night   I wont go into all the details – just know that mommy, daddy and baby are doing FANTASTIC – and after a C-section on Thursday afternoon baby Xander Curtis was born at 12:53pm – a teeny little 7lbs 1oz, and 19 1/2 inches long ♥♥

  My sister is a rockstar, as is her amazing husband Curtis, so yeah – it’s noooo surprise to me that my little NEPHEW! (still giddy to say I have a nephew!) is following suit I love those 3 sooooooooooo much and it was an honor and a pleasure to get to be there every.single.second. that I was able…living on zero sleep and caffeine for days. I decided that um, no matter how things turn out, I don’t do well when my sissy is in the hospital. Yeah. to be perfectly honest, I do horribly…I was a nervous wreck until she was home safely, even when I was right next to her I just wanted her out of there!!!! Sweet mercy, she just means waaaay to much to me and I might have *seemed* calm at moments – I pretty much never was calm, not once - until she was home,  saturday night. LOL.  

SO, I thought I would fill you guys in a little bit – let you know I’m here – I’m alive and I have been at the hospital all last week and today I’m back in my office trrrrying to get caught up! My sis & curt were top priority last week, as it should be ♥, so I will be working as hard as possibly can to get editing, emails, phone calls, orders, etc…caught up!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH for understanding!! …I wish that everyone on the planet had a sister like my sister – I would be lost without her and just knowing I have a job that allowed me to BE there for her and Curt when they needed me…well, it makes me bawl my eyes out. It was such a huge massive blessing in my life that I will always cherish, forever. I know I was an emotional wreck, but I hope they have 10 more babies and I get to be there for they other 10 just the same…nothing better than to watch Jess and Curt become parents. Seriously, amazing. God is SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  

 SO, enough of my emotional sappyness - here is my sweeeet amazingly perfect shiny new NEPHEW – Xander ♥♥ I love him sooooo much.

    Thanks again guys in celebrating this AMAZING time in our lives with us. Please feel free to swoon and leave comments over baby Xander on here for us to agree with you on )) LOVE YOU ALL, and bare with me, I am doing my bestest to get caught up – just now a full week behind schedule as last week life stopping moments took over ♥♥♥ Life is such a huge blessing, don’t forget to go slow down and kiss your family…you’ll never regret putting work and life on hold to help a person…best feeling in the world to be there for someone you love ♥♥

I’m going to share some BEAUUUTIFUL images from a BEAUTIFUL couple!! I have been working on them today between the craziness that is life, and getting ready to go see my sister….as she is going to have a BABY tomorrow!!! YAY!!! BUT before I leave I’m posting these few images…seriously I have soooooooooooooooo many pictures from this day these hardly make a dent at all!! Hey guys!! Okay so, as mentioned in the previous post, we moved! And I know some of you who have known me for a few years is thinking ” ummmm, shellie left her RED BARN?!” …well, yes and no So I did have to leave the fabulous one you are used too – but hello – it’s me, gotta have a red barn! So we have been house searching and found a home it had an ammmmmazing white barn and my ammmmmmmmmazing husband painted it red – getting it red was a whole long dreadful story in itself, but let me tell ya, looking back NOW I can tell you this – it’s a HUGE blessing ♥♥ I’m SO happy with it and it’s just perfect – er, ” Shellie Benson Perfect”  ))) So yes, its been crazy and stressful and busy and moving is for the BIRDS (who knew we had SO MUCH STUFF?!). Oh my, we are getting settled in (yeah um, have boxes in looots of rooms still), and its been super fun shooting out here. Okay super fun doesn’t do it – it’s been FANTASTICLY (if that’s not a word, I’m still gonna use it!) AWESOME!! I love it so ♥ So that’s a little bit of an update Add 3 kiddos to the mix – one being 15 months old and full force running toddler of crazy-ness and you have my crazy life! OHHH hold the phone! - I just about forgot one other HUGE MASSIVE EVENT going on in my life…my baby sister, whom I ADORE and talk about all the time?! SHE is gonna have a BABY! Yup, this September – I’m gonna be an AUNT!!! DID YOU HEAR THAT FOLKS?! Shellie Benson is gonna be AUNT Shellie Benson lol!!! ♥♥♥ …I don’t know how I could ever forget that – we moved,(12 days before we had to leave for vacation) came back home to boxes AND i had to throw my sisters fantastical baby shower of awesomeness TOO!!! …yeah, I had a little on my plate

   In honor of my FANTASTICALY AWESOME red barn I figured I would post a blog entry that’s 110% for me LOL! …2 of my FAVORITE little girls came out to see me again this year and they have grown about 3 feet each and even cuter than EVER – and we decided where better to do their session but to that out that barn of mine. Okay, I could post this whole session due to my extreme emotional attachment to the girls and the barn – and wait until you see the colors – it was soooooo lovely that day!! These too little ladies always, always, always make my heart sing – so girlie and so crazy cute, I just wanna scoop them up and borrow them about once a month I hope you guys enjoy some of their session – I loved shooting it, editing it and just staring at the pretty images we got ♥ OH yeah and you know drooling over the fact this was literally in my backyard and what I get to wake up to everyday landscape wise. We are truly blessed ♥♥♥

   Well, this have been quite crazy around here ♥ If you didn’t hear yet, we fell in love with a house, and in June we got to make the house our home! (More info in a post to follow ♥) BUT turns out moving – when you have lived in a home 10 years is no easy task, and we had the added bonus of needing to move in 12 days before we left on our family vacation!!! OH my, here I sit, in my beautiful new office – that is still lined with boxes of all sizes! It’s been a slow process, but had to do without internet during the move obviously and didn’t get it hooked up until we got back from vacation a few days after the 4th of July! May-July were a told whirlwind of chaos. The GOOD kind of chaos, but non-stop on our feet chaos!! …oh and I might mention our little Matthew Joshua is 15 months old now as well….VERY active toddler to say the least Ahhhhhh, life is good though and I have been shooting and shooting and shooooooting and trying my nest to get caught up and back to life as normal. I’m getting there – and it’s been welcomed to just get back to everyday life ♥♥

That all being said I promised to try my best to get this peek up for this handsome little baby boy as many of his friends and family are in India! They have been SO patiently been waiting on me – so at long last here are a few from his session for them to enjoy – and swoon over his extreme cuteness!!

Hey guys!!

So my hubby and boys came home last night earlier than planned so it put a damper on my blogging…my little guy missed his momma!!! ♥ In fact I THOUGHT I posted the girls last night? turns out they were so distracting that I hit Draft instead, not publish – WHOOOPS! So yeah, it got published today *giggle* . It’s okaaaaaay - here is another post today instead!!

Here we have *H*…he is soooooooooooooooo adorable!!! I had SO much fun shooting him, I looooove being outside for sessions again. I know I sound like a broken record but really, I’m SO glad its finally getting nicer out. You guys should see the Red barn…the grass around it is all lush and green…nothing short of BEAUTIFUL, I’m giddy to shoot out there soon! ….anywho I’m rambling, here is *H*…I swear to goodness in half of these he looks at the camera as if he saying “yeah, that’s right people, I’m perfect…check me out if you must” LOL!!

Okay this evening we have Miss Christine – she is just beauuutiful!!! I have TOOOOO many favorites, so many I couldn’t post them all, I kept weeding it down and there are still a bunch LOL!! The day was So beautiful too so it made it hard to want to top…so lovely just walking around and shooting each place that looked fun!!

Gotta tell ya…I’m having LOTS of fun blogging again this week!!! ♥♥♥ I sooooooo missed it!!! You know what else I have missed?!?! SHOOTING OUTSIDE!!! Oh sweet mercy…glorious freedom of getting out of that studio….you guys have NO idea how much I love getting outside and doing what.ever.I.want. ahhhhhhhh LOVE IT!! ♥ Okay so here we have Brody…so I’m totally showing my age, as I will be 32 next week – but this *kid* is hawt, LOL!!! Yep, it’s official, I’m old…but it’s all good…teenagers are now kids to me, and I’m OK with that!! )) …Seriously though, this is the 3rd senior session I have done for this family and they only make GREAT looking kids, it’s ridiculous!!! But in a great way – I always have a blast shooting ♥ ( um, yeah I over-shot because I was toooooo happy enjoying the awesomeness of being outdoors SO, sorry Suzanne – you are gonna have 500 million to choose from…again )
