Writing is a lifelong process. I love the journey, whether it be publishing a literary magazine where I teach, or teaching summer writing workshops, or simply revising a story before I send it out yet again. And if I’ve learned one thing, it’s Beckett’s famous bit on failure.

And that pretty much sums it up. Keep writing. Keep feeling. Keep failing. Success– whatever that means– will come.
