They serve appetizers like Atchara and Bagoong. And they also serve desserts like Suman and Halo – halo. And last, butnot the least, the specialty of the house, the Chicken Inasal.
Chicken Inasal is a popular dish from the City of Bacolod. It is their version of Chicken Barbecue. Unlike the ordinary barbecue, Chicken Inasal is yellowish because of the atsuete or annatto oil. This dish is a favorite of the Illongos that you could even find it in every carinderias in Bacolod and Iloilo.
Bacolod Chicken Inasal has their branches in different malls in Metro Manila and its new branch is located in the Summit Ridge Tagaytay. They have air – conditioned spot with a very good ambiance and they also have non – air-conditioned spot where you can enjoy the cold breeze of Tagaytay.

Instant Pancit Canton is one of the most famous instant food among Filipinos. It is easy to prepare and it could fit to our breakfast, afternoon snack and even dinner. It can be prepared anytime of the day. But most of us are sick and tired of the traditional pancit canton, so why don’t we give these common noodle a twist!

We’ll put some excitement to our pancit canton by adding some cheese. Who doesn’t love cheese? The taste of cheese perfectly matches our original/kalamansi/chili-mansi/extra-hot/sweet&spicy flavored Pancit Canton.

So for Pancit Canton lovers, say cheese!

Ingredients:

6 packs of Pancit Canton (your choice of seasoning/flavor)

1 50g Grated cheese

Procedure:

1. Cook noodles in boiling water for 3 minutes.

2. Meanwhile, mix special seasoning, soy sauce and oil on a plate to form a paste. Set Aside

3. Drain noodles and mix well with the prepared sauce.

4. Put the grated cheese on top of the prepared pancit canton.

5. Best served when hot.

Budget: P75.00

What happens when two of the country’s keenest cinematic minds team up? The answer may surprise you. Directors Erik Matti and Lyle Sacris have put their heads together, pooled their resources, and came up with…a restaurant. But not just any restaurant: Mogwai is shaping up to be the place to hang out. Combining good food, great drinks, a nice, relaxed atmosphere and fantastic films, there may not be a reason to ever leave.

Mogwai is a restaurant/bar/screening room located at the Cubao Expo, long home to some of the city’s best hidden little food gems. And like many of the other buildings located here, Mogwai exudes a very unique sense of style. From the old-style marquee outside to the vintage, mismatched furniture inside, to the worn look of the walls, walking into Mogwai is practically stepping into another world.

Mogwai 2nd Floor Mini Theater

The second floor is home to the screening room, a cozy little private cinema that regularly shows movies that would be never make it to our cinemas. Five cinema-style seats line the back wall, while the floor is covered with pillows of all shapes and sizes. It all feels very quaint, but don’t be fooled: this theater’s equipped with a high-powered digital projector and a 7.1 Dolby Surround sound system. And there’s no better place to catch movies considered “off-the-beaten-path.” It’s hard to find any place that’s showingGlengarry Glen Ross or Chacun Son Cinema.
You have to sign up for a membership to the Mogwai Film Club if you want to take part in the screenings, but it’s a small price to pay. If you like a little dinner with your movie, you’re in for a treat. Erik Matti is a real foodie and a genuinely talented chef. Mogwai’s menu is a constantly evolving showcase for some of Direk Matti’s best recipes. It’s a fusion of continental and provincial, with a focus on strong, powerful flavors.
