When Emily first contacted us she was in a major panic; her friend who was originally doing her wedding photography had just bailed out on her. I am glad Emily found us, because I believe right away she knew she had one less thing to worry about for the wedding. After we met up to talk about all the details, the rest was history.

This is one of the coolest things I have ever seen. All the kids have a crazy good time climbing in it.

Hamburgers and hot dogs!! Of course we have to do a shot here in the “Diner”!

They are a big fan of a hip hop dance crew called Jabbawockeez. They even incorporated it in their wedding. You will see when we post their wedding pictures.

BTW, if you are into burgers, you have to give John’s Burger Tex a try. We had it…it was SOOO good!

As with all the weddings, we are very glad to be part of their special day to capture all the great time Quyen and Randy had with their friends and family. We started out at the awesome Hotel Derek documenting all the little things brides go through while getting ready. There was a little bit of time before the ceremony, so we managed to shoot a quick bridal portrait session in the hotel lobby. Afterwards, they went to the church to “get married”, followed by a crazy fun party at Kim Son on Bellaire! They had quite a wedding day and we have the pictures to prove it.

I probably mentioned this ten thousand times already, but Alice and I got married at the Hotel Derek. We love shooting there. It’s such a cool hotel and the picture always rock! What a gorgeous bridal portrait of Quyen!!

One of the big perks of shooting Chinese and Vietnamese weddings is the food!! We get to eat all the goodies like fried rice, lobster, seafood in a birds nest made with fried taro, shrimp salad, and etc. Man…I am getting so hungry just talking about it.

Joyce loves photography. She wanted to document her maternity but had no idea which photographer to go to. It just so happens that “Serendipity” is one of her favorite words, so she thought, “what the heck, maybe there is a Serendipity Photography in town.” She Google’d “Serendipity Photography” and what do you know…our website showed up After she saw our website, it was love at first sight! How awesome is that?? Fate brought us together!! We are so glad she found us. We get along really well and the sessions are just so much fun!!! Check out some of her awesome maternity portraits at the gorgeous San Luis Resort and the beach in Galveston! I want to call it a maternity boudoir session because she looks super HOT!!

BTW, Joyce had a super adorable baby boy. We’ll be posting his pictures later on.
