Johanna and Jimmy don’t need any introductions. By now, their wedding pictures should be all over Texas in bookstores, newsstands, and grocery stores. Basically, anywhere that carries The Knot Texas Magazine. The wedding was so amazing, and it wouldn’t happen without some of the Houston’s prestigious vendors including Alden Hotel, Darryl and Co, Plants n Petals, The Perfect Face, International DJ Sounds, Cakes by Gina, and etc. So many of them wanted their wedding images for their portfolio. We are very lucky to be a part of this incredible day and able to capture all the wonderful moments on “film”!

The wedding preparation started in the morning at the bride’s home. What a gorgeous Amsale gown!

Hermann Park Engagement Portrait Session – Chinh + Billy

It was a beautiful day; we had everything going for us! The tree and grass were so green, the wildflowers were blooming, the weather couldn’t be any better, the perfect light was shining, and we got to hang out with our good looking and fun couple Chinh+Billy! First Baptist Church and Private Home Wedding Photography – Courtney + Adam

Yay, finally a wedding blog! We are long overdue. Wedding blogs takes much longer to create, and we have been spending most of our time on wedding albums lately. Gotta keep our brides and grooms happy you know!

Today we have our cute couple Courtney and Adam’s wedding to share with you! You might remember their engagement session and bridal portraits we posted before. They have got to be the most laid-back couple in the world. It seems as if Courtney and Adam both didn’t have a care in the world that day — they just wanted to truly enjoy their big day. Everyone was so relaxed and had a fabulous time! They had their ceremony at First Baptist Church and the reception at their parents’ gorgeous house in Pearland. We love how the pictures turned out!! Enjoy

Bridal gown on a tree, fun!

It’s nice to have some entertainment, especially for the guys, before the wedding ceremony. Here’s Adam (the groom) and the ring bearer getting rid of some nerves before they walk down the aisle!

They had a super cool romantic candlelight wedding ceremony. It was VERY dark!

Can’t believe how incredible it turned out with the setup for this backyard reception! It feels like we were in the Caribbeans!

Houston Downtown Engagement Photography – Alice + Lance

Y’all already saw Alice and Lance’s formal engagement session a few weeks back. We also had the pleasure of shooting their engagement session at some of our favorite locations in downtown Houston. Lucky us, it was a beautiful day– and not to mention the cute and fun couple. Checkout the pictures and you’ll see what I mean!

Ok, I gotta explain this image a little:
Alice said she wanted a picture that’s sexy and also an angle that brings out her pointy chin. At that time we had a couch nearby, so this is what we came up with

There is a really cute story behind this! Alice and Lance both went to single-sex schools in Taiwan. For some reason, at that time many guys and gals from the two (sister/brother) schools were dating each other. Before Alice and Lance met each other, they thought they would never want to date anyone from the other school, because that is just so…typical! Well what do you know? They found out only after they had fell for each other many years later in Lubbock, TX. It’s fate I tell you!

Houston In-Home Newborn Photography – Cai + Delsey

This was our first time shooting a twins newborn session and we were super excited! We thought since they were baby twins they would eat, sleep, bath and play together. Boy, were we wrong!! One kept sleeping while the other stayed wide awake. I guess she was too curious All the waiting and hard work paid off at the end though. We were able to capture some really cute expressions and pose them– even when we only got one to sleep for 10 seconds. Believe it or not, we even got them to hold hands!
