Charmaine sends a support message to Yin Zheng, her bestie and co-actor in Winter Begonia. Yin Zheng is currently participating in a variety talent competition called 《Call Me By Fire》or 披荆斩棘的哥哥.

Here's the translation of her cute support message to him:

Hello, I'm Charmaine Sheh.

Yin Zheng singing?~ I've heard it before

He sings really good! I like it~

But I never see him dance though

Can you really (dance)?

You better don't embarrass. I support you.

Jia you (Add oil)!

Charmaine has grown close to Yin Zheng and they often hang out when she visits Beijing. She invited him on her segment of Not A Loner and paps took pics of them during her birthday bash in May.

Unconfirmed: Modern drama 《今天的她們》

Rumours swirling since June that Charmaine is going to participate in Chinese modern drama 《今天的她們》(directly translated as Ladies Today, English title unavailable), as one of the 3 female leads. Other female leads rumoured to be Song Yi and Li Chun.

The story revolves around 3 ladies career, romance and struggles using the theme of restaurant business. Filming is expected to start later this month in Beijing and Chengdu.

Based on the character description, it's likely that Charmaine's character will be Zhang Ai, a famous F&B venture capitalist from Hong Kong. Her aggresive method in expanding her restaurant in Chengdu brought her at odds with the two other female leads who run an established Chinese restaurant "Chuan Bai Lou" in the same city.

Let's hope the production announce the casting soon to see if Charmaine's really casted. She did mention in interviews that she is considering modern Chinese drama that is female eccentric. This is a trade up from Dr Tang, and a good decision from Charmaine and her team, in my opinion.

Fans organized a suprised birthday party for Charmaine! Charmaine was really touched and she's thankful for the support and love she has received from fans and her team. p.s. She gave away the 528 stalk of roses to her neighbour, so sweet of her.

Charmaine presented Long Service Award to her makeup artist Katherine at the party too!

As usual, Bobby Au Yeung being Charmaine best buddy, did not forget to wish Charmaine happy birthday at midnight every single year, for 10 years in a row. Now, that's friendship!

Gigi Lai sent custom made cake and flowers to Charmaine's apartment in Beijing. Akina Hong also sent a cake and flowers. So sweet!

Charmaine friends also threw a birthday bash at a club in Beijing, and her friends Andrew Yin (Yin Zheng from Winter Begonia) and Charles Heung attended. Lots of balloons, champagne and bank notes was involved, LOL. I will not post the paparazzis pics here but yeah, she had fun celebrating her birthday.
