Beginning Tuesday, July 21st 2009, Seaside Sew will launch its long awaited Laptop Line. So many prints that I love are just too big for iPhone and Blackberry cases! They will finally be let out of the vault to wrap your laptop in the comfort and elegance it deserves! Everything from a MacBook to a Sony Vaio is fair game! Just get me the dimensions, and I'll produce a perfectly crafted and beautiful case to surround your laptop!

Upcoming Vacation

Just wanted to give a heads up...I will be out of town (family wedding) starting June 16 and returning June 25. All Seaside Sew orders placed after 3:00pm on June 16 will not be sent out until June 26. Thank you to all my awesome customers!!

I look forward to coming back and sewing again. I have sooooo many ideas for new products that you will just love! Coming early July 2009!

Here is one of my upcoming items. I'm thinking of making it into a full iPod/Blackberry case with the white minky fabric (dot chenille fabric). It will be available at my etsy shop tomorrow.

How to Make Salsa

There is nothing better than enjoying fresh salsa and chips on a hot summer day by the pool. I just made a batch of this delicious salsa this weekend and thought I would share it. You can not get an easier or fresher salsa that this!

Ingredients:

6 roma tomatoes

1 or 2 Jalapenos (including seeds)

1 Lime (juice only)

1/2 red onion

1/4 cup of chopped cilantro

Salt and Pepper to Taste

Directions:

Dice all ingredients and mix together in a bowl. I usually use a food processor for this, but it is not mandatory.
Service with chips or tacos!
