A friendly staff member at Seve offered us each a piece of their freshly made red Praline Tart. Apparently, Lyon is famous for this particular dessert.

Meanwhile back on our ship, the staff prepares the dining room for the next meal service. Multi-course lunch & dinner menus change every day. And guests with special dietary needs . . . including vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free & gluten-free cuisine and more . . . need not worry.

We strolled over to Nicolas wine merchant which offers a wide selection of French wines. Some members of the group purchased wines to take home.

Notice that the wines are presented by region. We didn’t need to take any back to the ship. We certainly enjoyed our fair share of Cotes du Rhone, Bourgogne, Beaujolais & other wines onboard paired with dinner menu items during the week.
