My store is back up and running - not to full capacity as yet - there are still a whole lot of products to go into it but we are getting there.

This beautiful little clustered frame is very similar to those you will find in my Treasured Memories Kit.

I have made this one available to you all so you can see for yourself the type of elements you would be getting when you buy the kit and the quality too.

This little frame was entirely hand crafted by me using extractions from photographs that I took and a little bit of computer know how.

I love to make items like this and because I don't use other designer's CU products, you will find that my elements are unique and won't be found in other kits on the web.

My new store is up and running

Well folks I have gotten my new store up and running on a purpose built blog.

I do hope you like it.

At the moment there are only a couple of items in the store, but that will change over the next few days.

The store is linked straight into Paypal and offers you the convenience of shopping with either a Paypal account or using a Credit card via PayPal. You can also shop as you would in any other on-line store by adding items to your "Shopping Cart" and checking out later. There is a "View My Cart" button on the sidebar just below the PayPal details.

All items are priced in US Dollars, but all currencies are accepted and there is a currency converter on site for your convenience.

I will be transferring all my tutorials to my store over the next few weeks as well and updating them with new links and new tutorials too.

Big changes are going to be taking place on this blog so keep your eyes peeled.

I have discontinued my hosting services for my store and will be relaunching with a Blog Store plus this site will be undergoing a redesign as well so keep checking - It could take a couple of weeks to get done but it will be worth the wait.

Treasured Memories - revamped

As you know a couple of weeks back I joined the design team at Moo Two Designs. Well while I was packaging my kits for Moo Two, I was rechecking my kits and decided I wanted to do a revamp on Treasured Memories. The papers were too similar (not enough variety in them). Anyway that is now done and as you can see the papers are now all different and look terrific and I also added some new elements and some non-shadowed elements too for those of you who like to add your own shadows.

"Treasured Memories" with its soft, gentle and romantic shades of purple, lilac, pink and peach combined with neutral tones of soft green, brown and taupe is an extremely elegant feminine kit. The kit is filled with individually designed elements and papers and clustered elements. It is a kit that you will enjoy working with time and time again.

Treasured Memories contains:

20 beautifully blended, patterned and/or textured papers in four different colour combinations.

There are also more than 50 elements in the kit and they include:

5 Pieces of Wordart worked in glass and black lettering, 1 Stitched surround, 2 Beautiful tartan ribbon and dogwood clusters, 1 Small layered bark effect frame, 1 Large layered bark effect frame (slightly bent), 3 Multi frame clusters interwoven with tartan ribbons, ivy and dogwood sprays, 5 Shaped paper tags on strings with glass accents, 4 Beaded elements on gold wire, 1 Staple, 5 Assorted tartan ribbons, 2 Beaded pins, 2 Linen mats with fancy edgings, 2 Pieces of cardboard, 2 Digitally created lace Mats, 5 Glass brackets, 2 Tartan bows on eyelets, 3 Tartan bows, 10 Assorted glass beads.

All elements and papers were created at 300ppi, with papers saved as high-resolution jpgs to enable photo quality printing, and all elements were saved as individual png files.

This kits contains a lot of element that contain minimal drop shadows for realism. Additional elements that do not contain drop shadows have also been supplied.

I have been really busy this week what with designing a new package for my products. I have streamlined it and made it less fussy. Now that means updating all the products in my store so the previews all look the same and also the zip files too. Plus I have been uploading to my new store at Moo Two Designs. I should have that open for business on 1st May 2010. I would love it if you come on by and have a look at the Moo Two site - they have lots of lovely activities there.

I have added two more samples of my work for you to download and try out.

Rusty Fastener Script

This is a script that was created for Paintshop Pro only so please don't try to use this with Photoshop because it won't work.

The script itself creates a suspender fastener and a small brad using only the filters that come with PSP. I have also included a couple of ribbons in the download (also made using my scripts) so that you can try making a ribboned fastener like the one in the preview.

Pastel Moods Quickpage

The other sample is a quick page made using papers and elements from my Pastel Moods Kit. It is really beautiful and should hopefully give you an idea of the type and quality of the papers and kits that I make.

Added onto all the bits I have been doing at Moo Two to get up and running, plus what I do at KJoi, life goes on and spring is coming in fast. You can literally hear the grass growing and saying "Aaah I do love the sunshine". Yes you guessed it. New Products in Store for April

String Stitches

I have had an absolute ball making some stitches. I was working on making a new kit and wanted some stitches to put over a ribbon. Well as usual I got to thinking and then to tinkering.

What do you get when you scan some garden twine, extract it and then have some fun digitally altering it? Answer - beautiful stitches and you just have to have a look at these. This pack contains 7 different stitch combinations, originally created at 300ppi and saved as PNG files.

Commercial Use Stitches

And of course I could not resist making these as Commercial Use Stitches too. This product contains 7 stitch combinations in layered PSD files. Each stitch set contains one layer for the stitches and one layer for the holes, plus a greyscale version and the original coloured stitches too.

Coffee/Cream Paper Pack

These papers are just beautiful. They are a combination of coffee and cream coloured papers in a variety of textures. You will just love using these papers for mix and match scrapping.

Berry Colour Paper Pack

I got a little bit wistful about the warmth of the summer months and all the wonderful berries you find in the hedgerows. Anyway before I knew it I had made these gorgeous papers in summer berry colours with some lighter papers added in so you can mix and match them more easily.

You all must think I am the laziest blogger out there..... Yes, you are right....

OK, no excuses but .... I have been ever so busy.

At the moment we are in the last week of a fabulous Layout Contest at KJoi Studios. The other designers and myself got together and got out our begging bowls. Then we went round asking for sponsors and prizes for the contest. Well the prizes are wonderful. And.... I am sorry to say we really need more layouts for the contest.

There are five categories in all and you can enter one layout per category. (Funniest, Strangest, Ugliest, Best Altered and Wackiest Layout) Now the whole aim of this contest is to put some fun back into scrapping. You know those photos that your kids would just curl up and die if you brought them out in public - well go fetch them and scrap something hilarious with them and then Please come join me at KJoi Studios and enter the contest. Who knows, you could be a winner.

KJoi Studios Mother's Day CU Blog Train

Name My Kit Update

Well sorry to be so late in posting this folks but I have been laid rather low over the last two weeks with the most dreadful viral cold. I had so many entries for the "Name My Kit Challenge" that I split the names between the two main sites, KJoi and DST. By the way I added the blog entry that I received to the list of names from DST as it was the shortest list of the two. I then put the names through a randomiser and the winner from KJoi was lbettis who chose Pastel Moods.

The winner from the DST and blog entries was merscrapper who chose Cherished Stitches.

I then put the two winners names through the randomiser again to come up with the name for my kit and the kit was subsequently called "Pastel Moods"

Congratulations to merscrapper and lbettis who were both awarded a copy of my new kit.

Thereafter it was a marathon job to rename my kit, issue the coupons and get it into the store by New Year's Day.

I would like to say to all of you who entered, a big thank you for all the entries, they were most imaginative and I wish I could have used them all.
