Do you have a little boy who loves to get messy? This is the kit for you! Playing in the Mud has fun and fresh colors and lots of things that little boys love: a toy frog, a play shovel, sticks, leaves, stones, dirt and mud! First I wanted to showcase another type of product in my store! These are called "Clip-Its" and are clipping masks you can use with any kit to really stretch it's versitility! Use to create large almost edge-to-edge papers and borders or size down for photo or journaling mats! They can also be used by digital scrapbooking designers to create pieces for their own for-sale kits! Pick each up for just $1.80 during Christmas in July!

The idea for Playing in the Dirt came from a suggestion on my design page on Facebook! "A little boy's outdoor play theme" is what gave this kit it's beginning! (Be sure to "like" my page on Facebook - I give away special gifts and coupons there from time to time!

This great suggestions also made me think of this photo of my silly little guy -- I will definitely have to scrap with this kit! He'd grabbed a big handful of dirt out of a potted plant just outside the door, stepped inside, and gave himself a dirt shower!

Sadly I didn't win the cheater quilt contest at Spoonflower, but I am pleased with the little quilt I designed and intend to order the panel for myself sometime!

What you've been waiting for, the results of my own little contest! I promised I would give away some sort of prize even if I didn't win, so the winner will get her choice of a $10 coupon to go shopping for digital scrapbooking supplies at my Digitals store OR a custom fat quarter of her choice from my designs at Spoonflower! I have another few fabrics based on my I *Heart* Daisies kit up at Spoonflower! They aren't for sale just yet but they will be as soon as I have a chance to print and preview the designs! To celebrate, I've put all the I *Heart* Daisies digital products on sale through July 6th!

I also created a “cheater quilt” panel with the I *Heart* Daisies designs for the current Spoonflower Fabric of the Week contest! I’d sure love to win and if I do, I’ll have a little giveaway! See the details below. (A cheater quilt is a panel of printed fabric that looks as if it was pieced with different fabrics.)

The quilt with the most votes will be announced on July 7th and if it’s mine, I’ll let random.org do some picking for me and choose one winner from this blog and one from my sewing blog! Summer is flying by here! I intended to blog and design so much more than I have, but the days are just so full!

Somehow July has already made its appearance, so that means it is time for a new edition of the Quickies challenge! This month I chose to feature my newest kit, Burst of Spring, and a kit by Barbara Speck, Artistic Down on the Farm! As always, both kits are on sale for just $3 all month long!

Don't be fooled by the number of posts in the previous months' threads – not every participant has been posting their finished Quickies in the thread or gallery, but every month participants receive a nice sized album!
