Hello, wow can't believe I haven't posted since Mother's Day. At least I have been busy making cards. First is a birthday card with the CTMH Bella papers and the Surprise stamp set. Embellished with Just Blooms Autumn collection.

Made these for baby congrats along with the mini envelope purses posted earlier this year. Love those Just Blooms Big Pinks.

I saw this great idea on Inking Idaho's blog for a flower pot card, click here to see my inspiration. I used CTMH Botanical die-cuts and matching brads to create the layers of flowers. The pot is Sorbet white core cardstock, scored and sanded.

New Bella Paper

Happy Weekend. We had a beautiful 85 degree day today and tomorrow is suppose to be 40s and rainy. I dug into my new Bella paper from CTMH this week and made this card with the help of CTMH Originals Card Confidance program. Style "Flap Overlap" I keep thinking that is is missing something and just can't put my finger on it. Any ideas???

Here is my card for our team swap this month. We were asked to use from CTMH Originals book the Message Enclosure design. I used paper from Evensong L2 with New England Ivy and Cranberry Stamp Pads and the April Stamp of the Month Worlds Best Dad. I really think the red sparkle as the fishes eye really makes the card. Of course I'm a little biased. LOL.

My friend with 5 kids had a birthday yesterday, so I made him this coaster picture frame wall hanging for his office. I used CTMH Daydream Level 2 with Garden Green Ribbon, Lilac Mist Brads and Cardstock. I made it so that each year he could update it with the kids current photos. My Xyron Wishblade was a huge help too with cutting out the kids names 2x for layers.

Ooohhhh! so excited when I got home today to find the new Summer Catty. Wish I could show you but you'll just have to wait til May Day.

This past weekend I was working on a hostess gift swap. I used coasters and chipboard to make these little photo frames.

I used the CTMH That's Amore Level 2 paper packet along with the Just Blooms that I colored with Chocolate and Tulip then added a sparkle to the center. Attached Chocolate Gross Grain Ribbon with 2 Colonial White Brads. Added an easel to make it stand up.

Good very early morning. Just finished cutting out these butterflys with my craft knife after the dogs chewed up my Micro-Tip scissors. Ok so the middle picture is of the prototype.

I then decided that the chocolate cardstock would look better if it was textured and the butterfly really needed to be embossed.

So I remade the card with those changes and wow what a difference it made!

Above is after and right is before.

Below is front view of after changes made. Using CTMH March Stamp of the Month D1341 Butterfly Wing and D1335 Intrinsic Backgrounds. Chocolate Textured cardstock and Chocolate Stamp Pad. Then Clear Embossing over the butterfly.

Baby Books

Good Morning, I pulled myself away from Facebook long enough to make 3 baby books for: Dan's cousin, a neighbor and tech at the vet's office.

The circles were cut with the Coluzzle Big Circle and them used a corner rounder without the guard to make the waves.

On the fronts I cut out Baby with my Xyron Wishblade. Added flowers from CTMH Just Blooms with Jems in the center of the little ones and big pearl brads on the large ones.

With CTMH Paper Garden level 2, Stamps: Spring Equinox, Butterfly Kiss and With Love. I used Liquid Glass on the flower and Holographic heat embossing on the butterfly and dragonfly. Of course I used pop dots on the 'flys, flower and vase.

Oh Goodness. a friend got me hooked on Facebook and I'm afraid I've been glued to it for a week. Had to pull myself away to make a card. I know, shame on me.

For this I used New England Ivy for the back with scoring and sanding the pattern. The ribbon and second cardstock are Sweet Leaf and the image is stamped in Topiary on Colonial White. I then used clear embossing powder over it. Stamp set is CTMH Lucky You.

Denim Cards

Hello, I'm afraid that one of my friends got me on facebook and now I've been spending all my time finding hatchlings and flinging food at people. So today I'm going to show off a card my friend lifted from Lisa Stenz.

Ronda made the bottom two from Lisa's pattern using white cardstock and the leather technique with the denim ink. Then altered the pattern for the top one. Uber cute!

Nothing New

Well I have nothing to post today. My husband and I spent yesterday in the hospital with his mother to have small tumor removed. We had to have her there at 7:30 for all the pre-op stuff and then her surgery was an hour later since the patient before her didn't show up until his surgery time. ugh! She has joined the breast cancer survivor club.

As horrible as it is to join in the first place. But she is a fighter as well. Oh well I guess I do have something to show off. While waiting I had embellished 20 cards for this months workshop. We are doing CTMH consultant Antoinette's 20 cards from 3 12x12 sheets.

So here they are. I used the CTMH Unforgetable l2 that we can get bulk in and Sorbet cs for the 3rd sheet. Didn't find it to be the most usable for this being the backs of both were Blush. But the Botanical Diecuts were great for embellishing them. I so need to order tons more of those. And they are so affordable.

I also used some Colonial White Ricrac and different Sorbet ribbons on them as well. The embellishing went much faster than deciding which pieces to put where on the 20 different cards. Should be a fun workshop. I'll post everyones cards on Saturday.

Oh NCIS is almost on. Gotta Run.

More 1st Impression Swap Cards

Made it to the CTMH ScrapKats meeting yesterday in some terrible weather. With Bev behind the wheel keeping us on the road. We had some slippery moments but made it there and back in one piece.

Here are the cards the others made for the swap. It was a small group but we enjoyed Mary showing us a cool Rubber Brayer technique. Unfortunately I was determined to use the CTMH February stamp of the month and it didn't go down very well.

I found a card contest on jenscrappypages and thought it would be fun to enter. It's Instyle Thankful Thursday Challenge sketch.

I use the CTMH Key to My Heart paper from the January contest. The flower is from CTMH From Me To You (retired) stamp set with a Window Charm in the middle. And the Bird is from the CTMH Connection Club reward with a rub-on placed over a piece of Tulip cs.

Wow, I can't believe I went a day without a post. I have a CTMH team meeting on Saturday and our swap card is on CTMH Originals "First Impression". We are all doing the same layout. Can't wait to see them all.

Using the Creative Basics Emporium and lots of Prisma Glitter. My den and Persian cat were covered in it. For the stamps I used Flutter and Fluttering Frames with Vineyard Berry ink.

So I'm on this crazy sorbet kick, and I'm not talking the yummy icey treat. Made this little 3x3 card with the CTMH Key to My Heart paper packet and a couple Just Blooms with gem filled brads.

Valentine's Day

I know this is late but I couldn't show some of them before they were given out. My 10 year old niece was over to Grandma and Grandpa's and asked if I would help her make cards for her parents.

The above card we made for her dad. We used CTMH Just Chillin' level 2 (retired) with Vineyard Berry and Desert Sand stamp pads. The i and u are from the "Best Friends" specials set from last fall. and all the little squares are from CTMH D1246 Sweet Love.

For her mother we made the above card with CTMH Summer Celebration B&T combos (retired) with Topiary card stock and Watermelon stamp pad using a stamp set from a CTMH special card kit "Just Because" from summer 2008. Watch for these special kits, there the bomb.
Then of course I made a card for my Hubby. Used CTMH That's Amore level 2 and the new stamp set D1345 Ms Sweetheart. I used the CTMH watercolor pencils and Liquid Glass (my favorite CTMH product) on the heart. Then added some White Daisy Organdy Ribbon over White Daisy Ricrac. Of course all 3 designs are from the CTMH Originals Card Confidance Program.

Amanda's Purse

My niece came over for a couple hours last night while Grandma and Grandpa were at there once a month small group with our church. She saw my little Christmas purse on the shelf and asked if we could make one.

I received the design from fellow CTMH consultant Amy Hansen during a team meeting last year. She had found it on the CTMH bulletin board. I used the CTMH Daydream Level 2 paper packet. CTMH Just Blooms medium pink flower, Just Blooms White Daisy matching small flower and Sweet Leaf big corduroy brad from the mini-medley winter cozy collection.

This purse is great for little gifts for a shower and can hold 1/2 cup of chocolates. Very important feature.

My Creations Cube Piggy Bank

Here is my contest entry for Close To My Heart's "Key to My Heart" January Papercrafting contest. I used all CTMH materials: My Creations Cube, Key to My Heart paper packet, and Fancy Cuts Botanicals along with gold brads. And Colonial White Waxy Flax to tie it together.

I cut a slot on top for money and engulfed it with triple layers of botanical diecuts. Using 3-D foam squares and some folding for dimension.

Then I also cut a door out the back for money retreval but hid the seams with more botanical diecuts and used a photo clip to hold it closed.

Scrapbook Purse

I found this cute purse lifted from fellow CTMH consultant Lisa Stenz and just loved it that I had to make one too. I used the CTMH More To Adore My Reflections Level 2 paper packet with the Blush Ricrac and Just Blooms Big Pinks with a Hollyhock corduroy brad.

On the inside I used the CTMH Flutter stamp set and CTMH With Love stamp set (was a Stamp of the Month). I also embellished the butterflys with Sparkles and 3-D Foam Squares to make them fly.

With the two pullouts there is room for six pictures and a nice section for journaling.
