We are consulting on the repeal of sixteen late 18th/early 19th century Acts relating to duty on Scots beer. The closing date for comments is 11 December.

Speaking to MSPs, researchers and officials at a law reform reception hosted by Dr Ian McKee MSP and held at the Scottish Parliament on 3 June, the Scottish Law Commission Chairman, Lord Drummond Young, welcomed moves to look at ways of increasing the implementation rate of Commission recommendations.
