So I hope by now that you understand that I, like the majority of my clients, that I have a serious problem with the manner in which our NHS pretend to do what is best for the people in this country and I will try to promise not to comment on the NHS any further as I believe this will be seen as me just ranting as opposed to what I intended these newsletters to be for.

What is the purpose of these newsletters I hear you say?

Well, as I may have mentioned before, I have been trying to help people with serious illnesses for a number of years now and the majority of them have seen improvements in their condition and when I say improvements some of these people were told by the “specialist” that they only had a limited time left and yet the majority of these people are still here and continue to baffle the NHS.

I cannot go into detail about what improvements I have seen and why as the law forbids me to make claims about any health benefits that may have occurred in conjunction with anything which is not a licensed medicine. I think that law stinks but that is the law as it stands at the moment and I have to abide by it.

This law, however, does not stop individuals from having their say about the improvements they have seen no matter how these improvements come about and that is why I am always asking people to have their say and tell their own stories.

Personal testimonies are very powerful and allow others who may be cynical about natural therapies to become more confident of their effectiveness.
Most of the people I have helped in the past 5 years are more than happy to discuss their position with other as they feel by telling people about their own experiences, they may be helping others and that after all is what I am trying to do.

If you are cynical and believe me most of us are, then why not join the forum and discuss your feelings with real people who have probably been through what you are going through now.

Confidence and trust is built on real experiences and after all what have each of us got to lose by sharing our experiences.

So where do we go from here, well as you probably know, the number of instances for serious conditions is on the increase and it seems that no one is asking the questions why.

The increase in these serious conditions is great news for the pharmaceutical companies as it means that the medical profession can sell more drugs to try and control these increases but as we are all aware, drugs just treat the symptoms and the effectiveness of these drugs is questionable.

You cannot decrease the instances of serious illnesses by treating the symptoms. You have to try and work out why there is an increase in these instances.

As an example, the number of people with diabetes is on the increase and if you take a look at the type of people who are now being diagnosed with the condition, you will, in general, find that their diets are not what they should be and diabetics are generally overweight.

So you would have thought that it is better to explain to people why they have the condition and therefore give people the chance to avoid the condition than just to throw drugs at the problem.

But this is not how the medical profession works and advice on how to avoid medical conditions is sparse to say the least.

Some of my clients do ask the question to the medical profession as to why they have this condition and the if I were to summaries the answers they receive it would be something similar to “Well the body is a complicated machine and things can go wrong”.

Would you be satisfied with that answer? No, neither would I.

So, as I have said before, I believe that we as individuals have to take more responsibility for our health and part of taking responsibility is to understand a bit more about how our bodies work and how the environment we live in impacts our health.

It is apparent to me that the majority of us have no idea about how important vitamins and trace minerals are until we have a problem. And if I were to have a pound for every time one of my clients has said to me “I wish I had been told that” or “I did not realise how important that was” I would not be struggling to make ends meet.

So the answer to the question as to where do we go from here is that we need to educate ourselves as to how our bodies work and then look at what we can do about improving our health using whatever means are available to us.

In my next set of articles, I will be including a lot of information about what I have come to learn over the past 5 years which could be beneficial to you and also the latest news on how we, the general public, are being kept in the dark about our health.
