As you can see my RR’s did not print at the second store and the cashier tried to tell me it was because I had used coupons (we’ve all heard that before.) At that point there was a line forming so I asked if she could call a manager over after she took care of the other customers and she had one paged over to cosmetics for me. The assistant manager was really nice when I told him the RR’s didn’t print and just ‘exchanged’ the Ecotrin and put the money on my gift card. So instead of $4 in RR’s I got $4.35 on my gift card. Even better! I still have 2 more Ecotrin coupons to use before the end of the week but thankfully I’m done with the RR’s that were expiring this week(hence the random purchases :)).

I had a $2/2 Ritz Crackers MQ but it beeped and the cashier refused to take it. She said it was only good on the bigger boxes even though it said ANY. I should have had her take the crackers off but there was a line and I had one more transaction for her to do so I just let it go. I think I have discovered that I do not like what I like to call Coupon Confrontations. :) I should have given her my other $3.50RR to lower my out of pocket since she didn’t take the coupon but I didn’t think about it till later. Oh well. I did tell her not to ring up the crackers for the next transaction which meant I didn’t have a filler to use a RR to lower the OOP.
