We received an email this week from Western Australian artist, Tammi Williams, she has used one of Garry's portraits for one of her paintings. Tammi uses Genesis Heat Set Paints and mediums as her choice of materials instead of the more traditional Oils or Water Colors. She says it's not quite finished but we think its pretty good!

She has promised to post the finished picture to our FaceBook page

I would like to sincerely thank you, Roz and the Master Garry for my beautiful photos. Everyday I look at them they make me smile. It truly is a special gift Garry has to look through a lens and create inspiration in others hearts. In limiting editions, photography has fought against its natural inclinations to infinite reproduction since the invention of the paper negative. The cache and cash that goes along with a unique art work is an endless source of envy. The One Hour Photo project being exhibited at American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center in Washington D.C. takes the limited edition to its logical and ironic conclusion. Through June 6, the project will project one photograph per hour. At hour’s end, that photograph will never been seen again. The participating photographers have pledged to send their contributions to oblivion, never displaying, selling or showing the work again in any form. Thus, the edition is limited in both space and time.

Expecting their first daughter Sofi and Ed came to us for Pregnancy Photo's. Our studio is situated in Subiaco, Perth, Western Australia and is conviniently located near St John of God and King Edward maternity hospitals. The great thing about pregnancy portraits is that you can also have a beautiful range of glamourous but natural looking close-ups and couple shots all within the same shoot.

We wish Sofi and Ed all the best with the last few days of their pregnancy and look forward to hearing about the safe arrival of their baby girl.

Sarre Photography was the first studio in Western Australia to exclusively use fine art paper. All our images are printed onto acid free cotton papers from the Canson and Arches Mills in France. These papers have been used by artists such as Picasso, Chagall, Miro and Warhol and remain the reference for all artists.

We use these papers for their archival qualities and beautiful finish.
