CHANGE IS HARD. .   Our new In Colors are simply delicious.  Made just for summer.  These hot new colors (Strawberry Slush, Crisp Cantaloupe,  Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding and Baked Brown Sugar) are just made for some summer fun.  Can't wait to dig right in.

Today's sneek peek uses Strawberry Slush as my card base, topped with Whisper White.  I used the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder.  My colors are Coastal Cabana and Strawberry Slush,  I punched the out with the matching Mosaic Punch.  So easy. This card makes the list for quick and easy.  I popped some of my mosaics with dimensionals for some added depth.  I also added some sparkle with our Rhinestone Jewels.  I think our jewels are the best on the market, so much sparkle.  My sentiments comes from Sassy Salutations, such a fitting name for this font.  So sassy!!!!  LOL

Hello Folks. . .  Today I have a thank you card to share.  These are always great to have in your stash.  Not many people send these any more and that's a shame.

My cardbase is Whisper White, matted with a piece of Midnight Muze.  I used our oh so cute Fancy Fan Embossing Folder for a little more pizzazz.  Next is a strip of Lucky Limeade or Old Olive if you have it.  I cut my strip a  little wider than I needed because I love to use our Scallop Trim Border Punch.  Love it.    Then measure across for the width of you Whisper White strip.  I cut mine close to the scallop edges.  Opps.  Before you cut your strip you will need to make your own designer paper.

My stamp set is Secret Garden (from the Sprng Catty)for my flowers.  Ink is Pool Party, Marina Mist and Midnight Muze.  If you look closely you will see some Crumb Cake spots.  They come from the set French Foliage.  It's retiring.  I like the spots.  It fills in some of the negative space and is more pleasing to my eyes, especially when using light backgrounds.  Just a fetish for me  LOL  On a piece of scrap I did restamp one of the flower images and used its matching framelit.  This gives my card some needed depth.   Added some pearls for the flower center and there you have a pretty background paper.  

Next , for my sentiment, I used Perfectly Penned and used one of the shapes from our Apothecary Accents Framelits..  The inside is blank for your personal message.

Hello Folks. .  Happy day to ya.  Well, everyone knows that the end for this Stampin' Up year is fast coming to a close,.  So it's time to start going thru my old designer papers.  My sketch today comes from this weeks MOJO sketch and as you can see it uses a lot of designer paper.  The paper that I chose to use is called International Bazaar and you can see it has some very busy patterns.  I love the sketch but I'm having a little trouble adjusting to the busy paper, mostly my first layer.  So I will probably do this sketch again and try for a softer look.  

Now to today supplies.  My cardbase is Pacific Point.  My first layer is dp from International Bazaar.  I added my scallop edge using our Scallop Trim Border Punch #118402.  I love this punch.  Next are two pieces of paper cut at 2 x 3".   I followed the sketch and used our 3/16" Corner Rounder Punch #119871.  My focal point is our 2 3/8" Scallop Punch #118874 in Pacific Point and topped with a 2" inch circle,  For this circle you could use our Circle #2 Original Die Cut #114526.  

My stamp set is Create a Cupcake and it is one of the sets that will be carried over into next year.  #121915/121982.  It is inked with Early Expresso and Calypso Coral.  My cherry was inked with markers and I did add a little Dazzling Diamonds Glitter Glue for pizzazz.  

My sentiment is from Friendly Phrases #126149/126151, which is being retired on May 31st.  You still have time to get it if you like.  On the inside I used our so so cute Sassy Salutation #126705/126707 Happy Birthday.  I'm so glad that that will still be available next year.  Such a cute font, don't you think.  

Just wanted to remind the Wood Lovers out there that begining June Stampin' Up will debut an extra large DVD case for your wooden stamp sets.  This DVD case is compatible with our clear point DVD case, so you can store all of your stamp set side by side.  Your storage space will double maybe even triple.  Oh My what great news.

Hello Folks. . .  So sorry for MIA.  I've had some blogging issues and wouldn't you know it, it always happens when my administrator if out of town.

Today I have a lovely card to share.  The design and inspiration comes from another SU Demo Susan Adams.  Thank you Susan, it's a lovely card.

My card is done in Whisper White and is the standard A2 card.  I've got a couple mattings, first layer is Basic Gray and my designer paper layer is from Tea for Two Series Paper from our Spring Catalog.  It will be available until May 31st #129311.  Next I have one of our pretty Paper Doilies, also from our Spring Catty #129399.  Next I have nested two of our Label Framelits #125598, one in Basic Gray and the other from Whisper White.  

My stamp set is Secret Garden  #129141/129144 (save 15% when you purchase the Secret Garden Bundle #131100/131099).  I embossed my image with the Heat Tool and Natural White Embossing Powder on Pretty In Pink cardstock, then sponged Calypso Coral on the petals.  For some extra pizzazz I used some Dazzeling Details #124117.

Hello Folks. .   Happy day to ya.  Today I have a card to share featuring one of our current Hostess Stamp Sets that will be retiring.  I found this idea some time ago and am just now getting to it but so glad I did.  I used Pear Pizzazz as my go to color for my wreath.  It is one of the colors that Stampn' Up has decided to bring back along with Island Indigo.  If you haven't seen that post yet please click here to view our Color Refresh.  My card is a standard A2 card measuring 4.25 x 11, scored at 5.25.  My color combo is Very Vanilla and Island Indigo teamed up with a piece of designer paper from our Tea For Two Series Paper and another strip of green that has long been retired.  I'm not sure exactly where it came from, Christmas paper I think.  The stamp set itself was just greenery so I decided to use another stamp set that is being retired calledItty Bitty Bits.  It is also on the retired side.  Don't you think it worked well.  It jazzed up the spring wreath and gave it that little bit more of pizzazz.  My circle is 2.25 in diameter and I was having trouble finding a scallop circle that would work and it finally dawned on me that I could use one of the pretty circle from our Delicate Doilies Sizzlits.  It pays to think out of the box once in a while.  LOL  My sentiment is from our Perfectly Penned set.  Still thought it needed a little something on that dark background so I added some of our sparkly rhinestones for just the right sparkle.  My recipe with item numbers are listed below for your convenience.

Today I have a quick and easy gift idea to share.  I used Stampin' Ups Two Tags Biz Die for my pocket.  My cardstock is Summer Starfruit.  I used our SAB designer paper Sycamore Street (retired).  My stamp set is Ciao Baby #129648.  You know I love my tools so its just great when you have a coordinating punch to go along with your image.  Love it!!!!  The punch is from our Sale A Bration package too.  I'm sure it will be made available in our new catalog which is coming in June.   I used Rich Razzleberry cardstock for my pretty scallop and punched it with the 1 1/4" scallop punch #127811.
