Dyanna Pure: Ever since JT got a car, we've been doing a lot of 'drive by shooting'. Which really just consists of us spotting morsels while en route. Since there's never any parking in San Francisco when you need it, I get my cardio by jumping out of the car and chasing down said morsels on foot. It's been a great tool for shooting in districts that we don't normally cover. And thus, today's post is coming to you direct from the Sunset District--an SFS first!

0. These unisex chambray trousers are the first thing about this look that caught our attention. There's been such an influx of chambray work shirts this season, I love that she took this popular trend and turned it on its head.
1. Infusion of Brooklyn-imported vintage accessories.
2. Double points for combining two of San Francisco's biggest footwear trends: woven leather and oxford cutouts.

Dyanna Pure: I was thrift shopping in the Mission last week, when I spotted this cute Hipster Morsel in front of Four Barrel. This natural occurring breed of man-morsel can be classified by several defining characteristics:

0. Proximity to local watering holes
1. Classic color palette and proclivity to plaid
2. WWI inspired hair cut
3. Skinny, high-water pant
4. Serious scowl (I should note, he was actually really nice in person)

JT Paradox: I am a fan of the Americana Working-Class aesthetic that's become popular this season, and I like how simple and understated it is without being too plain. Her bag and boots retain points of interest, and she looks very comfortable--and also ready to take on the world.

Dyanna Pure: This is not a girl that takes a passive approach to fashion. Each piece was lovingly scoured to create this one of a kind, 100% thrifted look. Even in this dismal weather, its nice to see some traditionally summer trends taking hold.

0. Perforated oxfords is one of our favorite warm weather trends. Too bad it's not sunny enough to wear them without tights.
1. Reconstructed, rummaged Native American necklace
2. Her vintage faux-Guess skirt provides a nice contrast to all of her dark colors. Mind you, it's no easy feat to wear stone-wash denim successfully.
3. Native American print romper. Another great example of repurposing your clothes to maximize your wardrobe.
4. And for our international readers--yes--it IS that cold in San Francisco this summer.

Dyanna Pure: It never ceases to amaze me, the sort of sophisticated, Ali Macgraw cool that a pair of bell bottoms can evoke. Pair with a bit of plaid, some woven leather clogs and a Mexican leather belt, and you've got yourself an iconic 1970s ensemble.

But to avoid looking like you stepped straight out of a costume shop, take your bell bottom cues from this morsel.

0. Keep the top fitted to contrast the wide leg of the jeans
1. Pick a dark wash pant--avoid plaid leisure suit bottoms at ALL costs

Dyanna Pure: This Aussie visitor is wearing the quintessential traveler's uniform: comfy walking shoes, roomy tote and adaptable layers. All she needs to transition from window shopping in Pac Heights to cocktail sipping in the TL, is to slip her colorful scarf and cardigan into that RAD tote.

And speaking of RAD totes, wouldn't you be infinitely prouder to sport your alma mater's logo if they could design apparel as cute at Universidad de los Andes? In my post-collegiate world, fashion trumps academics and a cursive Cal and cartoon bear doesn't make a blip on the pride radar.

JT Paradox: The stark stripes above blocks of colour are mesmerising. Mixing black and brown is like root beer and vanilla ice cream--two tasty flavours that compliment each other when fused properly. Stenciled roses on one of her chinatown slip-ons is quite endearing--and the cute envelope tattoo is even more so! No superfluous accessories encumber her travels. This morsel's look is so pure and simple--it's the sort of subtle and charming style that might precipitate a series of rom-com antics from enthralled admirers.

Dyanna Pure: I don't normally like to update this late in the day, but we were experiencing some technical and electrical difficulties this morning that could not be helped. You'll have to pardon our tardiness, but I do believe this man morsel was well worth the wait!

The weather in San Francisco has been (mostly) great lately, resulting in a windfall of casually dressed gents on the streets. It's really a shame how few accessorizing options men have these days, which is why it's always refreshing to encounter someone who manages to sneak in a few unconventional embellishments.

Dyanna Pure: All healed-up since the last time we photographed her, this SFS Alum is making maximum use out of her wardrobe. One of my favorite tricks to doubling the wearability of a dress is to layer it underneath your favorite sweater or blouse--effectively turning last week's dress into a brand new skirt for a whole different outfit.

Dyanna Pure: The key to serving up an all white outfit on a hot summer day is to keep the recipe simple. Start with some basic white separates, add just a splash of contrast, and season with a single pop of color.

0. The perfect San Francisco tan and a nice pair of gams are all the accessory you need.

1. This red belt provides a pop of color and a defined waistline. Double win.

2. A little black and white vintage handbag adds just the right amount of color contrast.

JT Paradox: It's uncommon to find very modern outfits on the street--let alone a modern outfit fashioned out of a lot of vintage/thrifted pieces. It's very refreshing to see, and today's morsel has so many severe elements on her ensemble--like the golden lamé drawstring ankle boots and leather skirt with exposed zipper--but it all combines seamlessly! Her collection of accessories complete the cohesive look. Most impressive.

Dyanna Pure: Another great example of how friends really DO start to dress alike--in the best possible way, of course!

One of our favorite SFS Alum s and her partner in crime both paired boldly patterned black and white frocks with opaque black tights, black loafers and eclectic accessories to create their like-minded ensembles. The key when mind-melding with your friends, is to make sure to retain your individual sartorial point-of-view. (Which this pair manages to do perfectly!)

JT Paradox: Before you even ask--those are Pour La Victoire shoes. Which translated roughly, I suppose could be, "For the Win" (aka FTW)--which is very apropos considering how EPIC those shoes are.

I've never been a huge fan of the 90s--but the way she used 90s elements in her outfit is outstanding. Now....I'm a believer.

I'm trying to find the words to describe this girl without being disrespectful.....

Dyanna Pure: Huge THANKS to everyone who came out to support our event last night! A lot of SFS alumni were in attendance, along with some lovely new faces as well. Hope you all came away with some fun goodies to add to your amazing wardrobes.

JT Paradox: I like when morsels use just a hint of vintage aesthetic, while still keeping modern--otherwise the outfit risks becoming a period costume. The sunglasses are a nice touch, and the entire outfit is a perfect compliment to showcase her stand-out red purse. A brilliantly executed ensemble with a flattering silhouette.
