Blog Punctuation

This may be one of the most overlooked pieces of the blog, however it is one of the most important pieces in order to effectively get your idea across.
If you improperly punctuate a blog this could cause confusion, as well as cause readers to question your credibility.
Along with spelling, correctly educating yourself on the usage of the comma, exclamation mark, semicolon could make or break you.
Probably the most misused punctuation mark is the comma. Many writers feel the need to insert a comma wherever there is a pause; this is a very common and grave mistake to make.
There are 3 main uses of the comma: introductory, list, and as an explanatory.
The exclamation mark is one to be used sparingly. If you decide to use it, be aware that this is one mark that is to be used with caution as it is a juvenile mark to use; this should not deter you from using it, however, you should do it intentionally.
The semicolon is perhaps one of the most misunderstood marks in all of punctuation. As a result, many writers shy away from using it. However, if you decide to venture out and use it, the proper usage is critical. [...]<div class="feedflare">

Seo Companies Pulling You in Every Direction?

Seo companies love your money, just get used to that. They like to sell you into the idea that you need seo and then offer you about 100 addons to your service. Who needs that crap? Buying seo can be easy when you know what to look for, and these are some tips to get the right person for the job.

Tips for Finding the Right Seo Company

Check out their seo site. Are their links on the site coded or proper longtails.
Do they look like this: http://www.webhelpnetwork.com/?page=209gclid=CJHu0Ntor &#8211; BAD
Do they look like this: http://www.webhelpnetwork.com/ecommerce-software-services.html &#8211; GOOD

Does the seo company offer you 100s of keywords, even though you are a small business? I offer 12-20 keywords because I want them all to rank high. Offering you 100s just because you will pay more, gives that seo company a better opportunity to say, &#8220;Look we ranked you #1 for 5 out of your 215 keywords. Told you we could do it&#8221;.

Do they build your website without the seo in mind, then call and try and sell you on added seo? This technique doesn&#8217;t sit well with most seo professionals. You will find companies using it so watch when they call you to add [...]<div class="feedflare">

Reading Google Analytics Can Help Your Blog Traffic Grow

Business owners in many industries never check their Google Analytics for any reason. While that may be surprising enough, some seo experts don&#8217;t check it either. Yes, it&#8217;s hard to imagine that anyone wouldn&#8217;t review the statistics of their own blog or site. It could be the new software on the market today. Perhaps the too much time to log in to review them. Whatever they are doing, we don&#8217;t recommend it and here&#8217;s why -
1. You can find out what pages or posts of your blog are popular (based on traffic) and then determine how you want to market those to make more sales.
2. Turn your goals on and see how traffic is funneling and flowing through your site. Discovering how your visitors are using your site is important.
3. Understanding how visitors navigate and enter certain posts is important.

Look at your year in a single screen and you can see how the traffic has increased over months. This part is especially good for those bloggers who are getting discouraged about the site being stale.
Looking at your daily or weekly view can provide even more results. Try adding annotations to show those promotions you had, special events or when a [...]<div class="feedflare">

How to Use Google Ad Planner

Google Ad Planner is a media planning tool that helps with identifying websites your target customers might be visiting.

You can store a list of sites you want to advertise with, generate aggregated site statistics. You can even find audiences by their demographics and interests.

If you&#8217;re advertising on the Content Network (i.e. Content Targeting) then you really need to use the Google&#8217;s Ad Planner tool.
This gives you a much better way to search and filter sites, than the usual site selection interface.
Don&#8217;t worry about volume so much. Try to focus on really well-targeted traffic.
Better to get 10 clicks a day and 1 sale, than 500 clicks a day and ZERO sales!
Anyone who&#8217;s gone for the Content Network has been tempted by some of those higher-volume sites. That show 500k+ searches a month. You really want to avoid that.
Here&#8217;s what you do, in a nutshell:
Open up Google Ad Planner. You can sign in with your Adwords account info

Search by Audience.
Pick your Audience (top line of buttons), via the drop-down options.
Click the &#8220;Load Audience&#8221; button.
Filter your audience (2nd line of buttons), via the drop-down options.
In &#8220;Ad Items&#8221; be sure to select &#8220;In Google Content Network&#8221; to actually include the Content Network.
As you [...]<div class="feedflare">
