Nike Lunar Wood Grey/Neon

Eind vorig jaar zagen we een succesvolle samenwerking tussen Nike en het Deense Wood Wood. Samen brachten zij de LunarWood TZ op de markt. Een crossover tussen de ACG Wildwood en de Lunar technologie. Nike heeft besloten de Nike Lunar Wood wederom uit te brengen tegen het einde van dit jaar. Ditmaal in een grijze uitvoering met neon groene accenten.

Late last year we saw a successful collaboration between Nike and Danish Wood Wood. Together they worked on the Lunar Wood TZ, a crossover between the ACG Wildwood and Lunar technology. Nike has decided to bring back the Nike Lunar Wood for this fall/holiday season. This time in a gray version with neon green accents.

Nike Run House Amsterdam

Who's House? ... Sinds 1 september is Amsterdam weer een tijdelijke hardloop bestemming rijker. Niet zozeer om in te rennen maar wel om gemotiveerd te worden. Na het succes van vorig jaar heeft Nike besloten met een opvolger te komen voor de Nike Running Club in het Amsterdamse Bos. Ditmaal gaat de club onder de naam Nike Run House en zit gevestigd op de Van Baerlestraat 5. Kon je in het Amsterdamse Bos nog gewoon naar binnen lopen, ditmaal gaat alles op afspraak. Naast de nieuwste produkten zullen er ook films vertoond worden en diverse avonden worden georganiseerd. Meer info volgt.

Who's House? ... Since September 1st, Amsterdam has a new temporary running location to visit. Not so much to run in but to be motivated by. After the success of last year, Nike has decided to come with a successor to the Nike Running Club in the Amsterdam Bos. This time the club goes by the name Nike Run House and is located at the Van Baerlestraat 5. Besides the latest products there will also be films and several evenings will be organized. Nike Take Oslo

Nike zet de stedenstrijd door en lanceert ditmaal een wedstrijd in Oslo onder de naam Take Oslo. Hierbij strijden Oost, West, Noord en Zuid Oslo tegen elkaar om zo de heerschappij over de stad te bepalen.

What part of town dominates Oslo? East, West, North or South? Race the streets with Nike + and dominate Oslo with blood and sweat, to prove what part of town is strongest.

RunPhones Performance Headphones for Running

De dagen dat je nog een hardloper zag rennen zonder oordopjes in lijken zo goed als voorbij. En natuurlijk, muziek is een goede stimulans en motivator tijdens het rennen. New Balance Minimus Video

Met de ultralichte Minimus komt New Balance tegemoet aan de groeiende vraag naar minimalistische schoenen. In bovenstaande video laat Anton Krupicka van New Balance zien hoe hij zich voorbereidt op The Leadville 100-Mile Run op de Minimus. De New Balance Minimus lijn zal niet alleen bestaan uit trail schoenen maar ook weg- en race modellen.

Saucony ProGrid Mirage Preview

Voortbordurend op het succesvolle Kinvara concept, komt Saucony in het voorjaar van 2011 met de Saucony ProGrid Mirage. Was de Kinvara met name geschikt voor de minimalistische hardloper, de Mirage is er voor een bredere doelgroep. Hardlopers die lichtjes over proneren zullen zeer in hun sas zijn met de Mirage, een Kinvara met meer ondersteuning voor alledaags trainingsgebruik.

Building on the successful Kinvara concept, Saucony will launch the Saucony ProGrid Mirage in spring 2011. Kinvara was particularly suitable for the minimalist runner, the Mirage is available for a wider audience. Runners who slightly overpronate will surely look forward to the Mirage, a supportive version of the Kinvara for daily training use.

Adidas Originals SL72 Fall 2010

De Adidas SL72 (SL staat voor Super Light) was oorspronkelijk bedoeld als podiumschoen voor de atleten die tijdens de Olympische Spelen van 1972 in Munchen een medaille hadden behaald. Adidas Originals heeft al eerder versies van deze schoen opnieuw uitgebracht en voor dit najaar staan de onderstaande kleuren gereed om hun opwachting te maken. Zeer geschikt voor de hardloper die in zijn vrijetijd graag een vintage running gevoel heeft.

The Adidas SL72 (SL stands for Super Light) was originally designed as a podium shoe for medalists at the Olympic Games in Munich in 1972. Adidas Originals has re-released versions of this shoe before and this Fall we will see the color models as shown below. The SL72 is a shoe for those runners that like to sport a vintage running look in their daily outfits.

Nike Tied Together (RED) Recap Video

Afgelopen juni kon je hier al lezen over de Tied Together actie van Nike. Een actie waarbij Nike aandacht wilde vragen voor het Aids probleem in Afrika. Naast de rode veters die mensen konden kopen en dragen als steunbetuiging, was er ook een sportieve actie. In diverse wereldsteden deden skaters, fietsers en hardlopers mee aan een 24 uurs estafette. Hieronder de video die dit allemaal mooi in beeld brengt.

Last June, you could already read about the Tied Together campaign by Nike. An action by which Nike wanted to ask attention to the AIDS problem in Africa. Besides the red laces that people could buy and wear as endorsement, there was also a sports action. In various world cities skaters, cyclists and runners participated in a 24 hour relay. Below the video that portrays it all very nicely.

Rumor: The Return of the Club

Het gerucht gaat dat de Club weer terug komt. Vorig jaar hebben we voor de eerste keer kennis kunnen maken met deze (hardloop) Club in Amsterdam en dat was een groot succes. Dit jaar lijkt de Club dus weer terug te komen en wel vanaf volgende maand! Meer details volgen zodra deze bekend worden gemaakt.

Rumor has it that the Club will return. Last year we saw the (running) Club in Amsterdam for the first time which was a great success. This year the club seems to come back again as from next month! More details will follow once they are published.
