Configure Free Domain 4 Google Apps Part1

After Finish free domain setup in Co.cc domain, leave the page open. now open a window or new browser tab and go to the registration page standard Google Apps account by clicking here.

Step 1

On that page click on the option Administrator: I own or control this domain, then enter the domain name. Co.cc previously registered resumed click Get Started.

Step 2

fill address, telephone, Default amount for standart account/free service google give 50 account for you. After all the required information has been input, click the Continue button.

Step 3

Next is making for the domain Administrator account which is registered. Here we enter the username and password for the administrator account. This administrator account will be used for all the Google Apps services-related domains registered, including the right to add the user. Here will also be shown the Terms and Conditions must be approved if you want to use Google Apps services. Then click the button I accept. Continue with set up.

Step 4

For the next page you can access through the address

https://www.google.com/a/yoursitename.co.cc

for example, for domain allinfo4u.co.cc

then next step to verify domain ownership. see screenshoot

Next you will be entering the verification of domain ownership. There are two methods that can be selected, but for use with a Co.cc domain, here we choose how to Change your CNAME record. Here you are given instructions how to verify the method. To note is the name of the CNAME should be made as in point 2 of my selection as visible on screenshoot. To facilitate the next step,
you name CNAME make selection and copy.

*. before you click verify go to step 5

Step 5

open new browser go to Co.cc → Log-in your account → Domain Settings → Select domain → Click "Set up" box → Zone Records → Add record as below Go to manage, expand the domain name, select Edit DNS and then edit the DNS zone. open to create a CNAME record. For this we click on option 2, namely Zone Records.

Then you paste the name of the CNAME should be made before a copy of your instructions in the Google Apps page in the Host field in the domain name followed co.cc. for example for the domain entered see screenshoot.

For Type / Pri select CNAME, and Value to enter google.com. Then click the Add button Record.

Step 6

Back to page setup in Google Apps, you can now click the Verify button. Next you will return to the Dashboard page and get the information that is being done checking domain ownership and this can take up to 48 hours. Based on my experience, the time required for that. While waiting, we proceed step that can be done following the activation email by clicking the Activate link in the email settings in the Service Dashboard. see screenshoot.

On the next page, you will be given instructions to create MX records for domains that can be done on the settings of the domain, in this case is in the Co.cc. Here, given the table contains a list of MX Server Address with the value priorities that must be entered as the MX record. Must be observed that the order of priority herein is set up by Google, and we should not change the order of priority among the servers. If you must change this value, it must keep the sequence of a given priority.

Before clicking the button, the next step is to return to the settings page Co.cc. domain

add the MX records and priority as provided by Google at the top. For each record is the same. For Host, enter your domain name, for example allinfo4u.co.cc. For Type / Pri Priority select MX and filled according to the given Google the above, for example 10. Value to enter the MX server address is, for example ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. Then click the Add button Record. see complete screenshoot.
Do the same for all record the other to complete.

go back to the Google Apps page and click the button I have completed these steps and you will be taken back to the Google Apps Dashboard

Configure Free Domain With Blogger

I just register a free domain for my other blog and I confess that it was nothing easy to setup! I found many references on Google and had to add more to get everything to work correctly. Something like that, ok here easy guide..

First, you need to find the free domain. There are many blog for this purpose, but I choose Blooger. Between the link shown and enter the address you want to assign to your blog. In my case was allinfo4u. Click check availability and the fields appear available see screen shoot.

Choose what name you like and click continue to registration. Make your registration, and wait for an email confirm, or if u not have account you can register here :Co.Cc - Free Domain

SETUP DNS

Blogger are hosted on Google servers and need to be directed to the new domain. The first thing we should do is to enter the Control Panel of the site where the domain was registered (in our example is co.cc) and change the DNS.

Step 1.

go to Co.cc → Log-in your account → Domain Settings → Select domain → Click "Set up" box → Zone Records → Add record as below Go to manage, expand the domain name, select Edit DNS and then edit the DNS zone.

1. click host then type www.yoursite.co.cc
2. click TTL choose 1D

Can we take this whole internet thing one step further and host our site ourselves on our own PC? Well, the basic answer is no! If you need to get a site live quickly or cheaply, it can be nearly impossible to do it yourself. Outsourcing these tasks to professional web host prividers that will save you money and headaches. The company will lodge your site on a web server, make the necessary connections between your domain name and their server configurations and then you're up and running. Your site is out there on the internet for all to see . But there are so many web hosts. How can somebody choose between them?

Different companies offer different plans, features, transfer rates and support levels, so how can you choose what's right for you?

The problem is that there are so many, and to some shoppers, there is a lot of technical jargon that can get in the way of picking the right one. This article is meant to simplify matters a bit by giving a reasonable way to estimate a web host's value.

The first thing to be done is to decide what you need your page to do.Is this you personal site, business site or some organization's site. Do you think selling things on your site, or maybe managing a forum , do you need a hit counter ect. These are just some of the questions you need to answer yourself before even starting to choose.

There are more factors in what will determine the best hosting provider for you and that will be the primary goal of this artcle.

First thing to consider: Storage Space and Data Transfer

Second thing to consider: Reliability
For any online business, uptime is critical. You absolutely cannot go with a host that has an uptime of less than 95%.

No web host can have 100% uptime, and it's impossible to guarantee. Avoid any hosts promising more than they can deliver. Most claim 99.9% uptime, but due to the nature of computers and communications equipment, outages will and do occur occasionally. Third thing to consider: Technical Support

The test is to contact the company and ask questions. If they don't reply within 48 hours, or don't reply at all, consider another hosting company. A good company should reply within 24-48 hours.

Various internet hosting companies offer a variety of services. Web hosters provide a listing of overwhelming features to hosting plans to entice you into joining their services. However, more importantly, what features you need and what ones you don't need. Make a list of what you know your website must be able to do and find out if the company you are researching can make it happen for you.

If you are paying for a website, you should definitely be getting email accounts and FTP access. Don't settle for a site without them. Make sure the email addresses are for your domain and not at your host's domain. FTP access is critical is you intend to do any amount of uploading files to your server. Don't settle for web applications. Also, you will want a host that provides a user control over these two features. Examples of services include also visitor counts, e-mail forwarding options, real time chat, shopping cart functions, and web statistics. The list goes on. With a predetermined needs list in hand, you won't forget to ask important questions.

Fifth thing to consider: Pricing Structure
If the previous four steps check out, then you need to consider price and this can vary widely. You need to consider setup fees, monthly fees, plan discounts and optional extras in your calculations. Don't let price be the primary factor in your decision unless you are launching a personal page. For ecommerce, businesses and organizations, the quality of the service is more important. Some companies offer you no monthly fees, but check the fine print before agreeing to anything. Free sites almost always have popups or require space invasive banners. Don't simply look for the lowest price. You need to know how much the prices will grow as you expand your services and customer base. Ask about a variety of scenarios. For example, a small business owner who knows he will only need a small site to get started should ask about internet service provider hosting prices for medium sized websites with a larger number of visitors.Think for the future!

Keep also in mind that the most expensive plan is not necessarily the best, and the biggest name company may not be the right match for you.

Many perfectly fine packages for small businesses now run between $15 - $25 per month. Some people say that there are three types of Web Hosts: free hosts, cheap hosts and good hosts - and there is more than a grain of truth in this.

A good web host company will not tie you into a long-term contract that will prevent you moving if you don't like the service.

What is a domain name? A domain name is a unique name, kind of like an e-mail address is unique, which is registered in a database called WHOIS through an organization called Network Solutions, Inc. (NSI). The domain name corresponds to a unique set of numbers called an IP (Internet Protocol) address. The reason we use domain names instead of IP addresses is that they are closer to our language. It would be difficult to market a site like this: "Go to 64.233.167.99 or 216.109.112.135 to search the internet!" A much easier way to do this is to say "Go to www.Google.com or www.yahoo.com to search the internet!" (Both Google and Yahoo are trade marked by Google, Inc., and Yahoo, Inc., respectively).

A domain name points to a computer called a "name server". The name server knows that your domain name corresponds to your web hosting server's IP address and it routes the person who typed in your domain name to your web hosting server - to your web site. That is how people anywhere in the world can see your web site by typing your domain name.

In 1992, the National Science Foundation granted an exclusive contract to NSI to be the sole registrar of top level domain names. NSI also had a cooperative agreement with United States Department of Commerce ("DoC"). With no competition, consumers were at the mercy of NSI.

In 1998, NSI and the DoC amended their cooperative agreement to allow for competing registrars. NSI was forced to provide domain name registration to the competing registrars at wholesale prices, rather than the standard $34.99 annual fee. NSI still charges $34.99 per year.

In late 1998, the DoC assigned the responsibility of overseeing the transition to a competitive market for domain names and accreditation of new registrars to a new organization called the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).

In 1999, ICANN began taking applications from companies who wanted to become registrars - and then capitalism took over: companies had to compete for business. Very often we receive questions about how to promote new website and get more visitors. While it’s easy enough creating new website from zero, everything becomes much more complicated when it comes to website promotion, online advertising and traffic. There is no wonder, because website promotion requires lots of skills and experience, and not all webmasters know how to start.

This guide was written to help you attracting more visitors and increasing website traffic. #1 – Search Engines Traffic.
Natural (or organic) traffic is type of traffic coming from all major search engines. If any visitor searches for some kind of information and finds your site in results, you get organic traffic! So one of things you may want to do – submit your URL to all major search engines manually. If you want to know what is the easiest way finding links exchange partners, do this - visit www.dmoz.org, select category related to your website, and then simply email webmasters of sites you like. Another way to find link partners is searching on Google.com for your top keywords. For example if you are willing to rank for "blue widgets", go to google.com and do a search for this keyword. You will get a list of top websites now try to contact owners of these websites and request link exchange.

#3 – Link Directories.
There are thousands of link directories on the Internet. Some of them are free, and others are paid. This time we will focus on free directories only. Having links on directories not only helps increasing search engine rankings, but also help getting more visitors who come from directories to your site directly. The biggest free directory on the Internet is dmoz.org, but it accepts only very high quality websites. If you believe your site is really high quality, try submitting it to dmoz.org. Also you can find other directories easily. Just go to Google (or another favorite search engine) and type “free link directories”, "link directory", "backlinks directory", "links exchange directory" or something similar into search box. You will find hundreds of link directories waiting for your submission!

#4 – Social Networks.
Social bookmarking networks works in similar way like link directories, but there are some differences too. The main difference from link directories is popularity. Social networks get millions of visits per day, so you may get more traffic too. However, to become successful in social networking, your site must contain high quality content. When you submit your URL to social site, other visitors can rate it. If rating is high, your URL is moved into main page where more people can see it. Adding links to social networking sites also will help getting better rankings in search engines. This work is pretty hard, so you may submit URLs manually or use any automated social bookmarks submitter software – it’s up to you. Website owners has the option to choose various formats, colors and a whole lot of customization options using which they can control and blend the Ads according to the look of their websites. Google Adsense program also provides various performance monitoring options (such as channels) for website owners to track and maximise the performance of Ads on their web sites.

Website Visitors: When a visitor visits a Google Adsense Particepant's website, they see relavent Ads along side the content. If the visitor clicks on any of these Ads, Google shares an undisclosed percentage of the cost of that click with the website owner.
AdSense is based on the PPC and CPM advertising payment models.

Pay Per Click: AdSense PPC advertisments are text ads that appear on your website according to its contextual selection and filtering criteria. When a site visitor clicks on the ad, the advertiser is charged a small amount, of which Google keeps some and pays some to the website owner.

Pay-Per-Thousand Impressions (CPM): AdSense CPM ads are text or image ads and are site-targeted. Adsense Channels allows us to understand:

What amount of revenue that each of our websites are generating
What amount of revenue particular pages or sections within one website are generating
You can setup channels inside your Adsense account which will enable you to track where your adsense clicks are coming from. There are two types of channels:

1. URL Channels

URL channels allow you track the Adsense performance under a specific URL. The URL could of an entire domain or subdomain or directory or even a specific page. The beauty of this is not you don't need to do any thing on the website side. Google automatically reports the Adsense performance with the URL. This is usful when you want to assess the overall performance of all pages under specific sections of your site.

For understanding this consider the following example provided by Google:
example.com track all pages across all subdomains
sports.example.com track only pages across the 'sports' subdomain
sports.example.com/widgets track all pages below a specific directory
sports.example.com/index.html track a specific page

2. Custom Channels

Custom Channels allows you to track the performance of a particular ad or group of Ads that you have generated, by placing a channel id all those Ads that you want to group and track.

With these channels the id for the particular channel you create is included in the actual Adsense ad code that you generate. Every ad that you include this code in, will report its performance under that particular channel even if they are different format sizes or appear on different pages or different websites. Currently you are allowed to create upto 200 different channels.
