Grocery Day

Some of you might have seen these photos already as I posted it in my Etcetera blog last year. These were taken at the Commissary inside the base in Korea. I miss shopping there because all the produce are really cheap compared to the stores in here. Hubby and I can buy a pack of pork ribs for just a couple of dollars but over hear, you will shell out 8 dollars to buy a decent one.

But anyhow, since I don't have any pictures of us in the grocery store over here, I decided to use these photos for the them at Mommy Moment this week.

Sometimes people would look at me like I am sort of weirdo or something when I am taking photos but what the heck, I don't care because I really want our kids to remmeber everything that we do together as a family.

Coke Refinery

These were taken a couple of weeks ago when we visited our niece in Follansbee. There is a Coke Refinery on the way so I took some shots. The kids love the flames that is coming out from the torch (not sure if that's what you call it).

It's hard to take pictures when the vehicle is moving so photos here were not as great as I wanted it to.

It would open more job opportunities for the people living in this town and I am sure that it would decrease some families getting welfare and unemployment program.

A very good and thoughtful friend sent me this beautiful beautiful set of eight 6" plates with with wrought iron caddy that she bought from CSN stores, thank you so much sis Dhemz! I know that you don't have to really give me something because it was your prize but you included me in your winning anyways.

I so love this because every time I am teaching my daughter with our one-on-one lessons in the dining room area, I always see this pretty set in our China Cabinet. Aren't they lovely?

I have been to a couple houses that has bathroom scale and I admire them for having it. Having a bathroom scale is a good thing especially if you are trying to lose weight as it will remind you of your goal every time you go inside the bathroom. When we had our vacation in Korea last year, the hotel that we stayed for three nights has a digital bathroom scale too and it looked fancy. Most of the local Koreans are very mindful of their weights so I am guessing that is the main reasn they put weighing scale on hotel's bathrooms.

Anyhow, there are so many bathroom scales that are available in the market these days. What kind do you guys have?

Little Red Head

Apricots

Our neighbor gave us two more baskets of apricots. He said that they are tired of eating them and the deers are starting to help themselves so he picked 'em all up and gave it to us. I am so happy because I love apricots. I still have to dry all of the seeds so I can try it. He said that they tastes like an almond.

Roses from my Garden

Before our dog Chelsea eat my flower, I took some of the rose in my garden. My yellow rose is doing pretty well this year.

Do you cut your roses too? The roses smells good so I want it's fragrance inside the house.

I laughed when the lady from a site where I won some maternity clothes asked me how far are you?" Yeah I know, you are probably asking the same question. o make it clear, I am not pregnant hehehe. I just bid on that maternity clothes lot because they are still in great condition and I want to give it to somebody who is pregnant right now.

I kinda miss being pregnant though. You are being treated so special and being spoiled sometimes hehehe. You also get the chance to wear trendy maternity clothes. I never thought that being pregnant can be so stylish too. I thought when I was a kid that when you get pregnant, you will be contained to those boxy clothes but I was wrong. Marigold

Marigolds are good to plant especially if you live nearby a woods because deers doesn't like them. My father-in-law has a lot of them which somehow protect his vegetable garden from being bothered by the wild creatures. He also some on flower pots and they look so nice. In the middle of that planter, you will see the rose that I planted for him, and at the side is the bean stalk that EJ has planted.

Bark Off

Now that summer time is in full swing, we let our two doggies stay outside most of the time. The only problem is that sometime, one of them would start barking and it's really annoying whenever it's continuous and we're worried that somebody would call the police and report about it. I think a bark off device would put this to an end.
