Best Middle East Food in Malaysia

“Exquisite”, “Special”, “Delicious” taste is how I defined Arabian food. As a non-muslim Malaysian citizen, i think i’ve fallen in love with Middle Eastern food. So far, i’ve tasted few arabian restaurant here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Here’s how i rated each of these restaurant based on my rating. These ratings are based on Lamb Mandy and Hummus.

1st – Saba Restaurant (located opposite of Setiawangsa Putra LRT)
2nd – Qasa Sabar (in Gombak behind OTK Supermarket)
3rd – Wadi Hadramawt (No. 226,Jalan Ampang, 50450 KL. Tel: 4253 3333)
4th – Al Rawsha (Kampung Pandan)
5th – Wadi AL-Nile Restaurant(No 72-0, Block J, Platinum Walk, No. 2, Jalan Langkawi, 53300 Setapak, Kuala Lumpur. Tel : 03-41312356)

Based on interior design:
1st – Al Rawsha (castle like restaurant with arabian background song)
2nd – Saba Restaurant

Other than dining at these restaurants, i’ve also found a few middle eastern supermarket.

Angela Baby dressed as Audrey Hepburn

First of all, my heartiest congratulations to Angelababy for opening her third restaurant “Baby Cafe” on May 3 this year. She had released new photoshot of herself dressing as famous iconic Audrey Hepburn to promote her business.

Angela’s photographer Xia Yongkong and production designer, Sean Kunjaambu did a fantastic shot capturing out Angela flair of Audrey Hepburn’s originality based on Breakfast at Tiffany’s fashion.

Dressed in leather dress, and enhanced by her baby doll face, Angela look like the real Audrey Hepburn.

See for yourself, she’s indeed the most prettiest girl.

How to clean comb

Healthy hair is important for everyone. Dirts can clog into your hair follicle and this could limit hair growth, that’s why it’s very important to clean your comb when it’s dirty. I’m sure everyone owns a personal comb or hair brush which they kept in their handbags, house or even inside car, but when is the last time you clean your dirty comb? As for me, i seldom clean my comb unless i really can’t stand it.

Cleaning a comb can be difficult and time consuming if you use the wrong kind of method for example a “Toothbrush”. Previously, i cleaned my comb using an old toothbrush and hairs and dirts starts to gather and stick to it and making it harder for me to remove dirts from the comb.

As I was cleaning my comb with this toothbrush, suddenly i thought of using a raffia string. Well, it works wonderfully! Dirts are removed easily using this raffia string by working with both hands back and front through gaps in between of comb under running water.

Try this method if you plan to clean your comb next time.

Google Homepage Background Zipper

HUGE Google Zipper Doodle! That’s what you notice on Google’s background Homepage site today. If you haven’t seen it yet. Go to Google’s homepage and play with it, by zipping it up and down.

It’s a cool idea from Google. Who would have thought you can zip a website this way. It’s definitely awesome and cool looking interactive ways to browse a search engine.

In fact, this huge zip on google’s homepage is to commemorate zipper inventor “Gideon Sundback”, whose 132nd birth anniversary was marked on Tuesday.

Keep up the good work, GOOGLE.

Swedish-born engineer Gideon Sundback improved on Whitcomb Judson’s work, making the zipper practical and commercially successful. Today, thousands of miles of zipper are manufactured daily.

Sundback increased the number of fastening elements from four to ten per inch, creating small teeth. He faced two rows of teeth opposite each other and added a slider to pull them together.

Invention Impact

The United States Army applied zippers to the clothing and gear of troops during World War I. By the late 1920s, zippers could be found in all kinds of clothing, footwear, and carrying cases. The industrialist B. F. Goodrich coined the onomatopoeic term “zipper” in 1923.

Sundback also developed the manufacturing machine and process for the new zipper. The “S-L” machine took a special Y-shaped wire and cut scoops from it, punching dimples to create teeth. Within the first year of production, the Universal Fastener Company was manufacturing hundreds of feet of fastener per day.

Inventor Bio

Sundback was born in 1880 in Sweden and immigrated to Canada and eventually America. Sundback improved Whitcomb Judson’s 1851 patent for the Clasp Locker, working for Judson at his Universal Fastener Company in St. Catherine, Ontario. Sundback died in Meadville, Pennsylvania.

Pregnant Man Thomas Beatie and Wife Separate

He’s a man and he’s pregnant. Not only that, he’s the first known legal man to give birth, split from his wife of 9 years.

Their separation happened during a taping of syndicated TV show The Doctors in which he also said he had undergone a final female to male reassignment surgery.

Thomas Beatie whose original form a woman by the name of Tracy Lagondino (photo below), born in Hawaii in 1974 who says he like he wanted to be a man made headline when he first got pregnant 10 year ago with a sperm from an anonymous donor. He was able to conceive because he had kept his reproductive organs.The fact he’s keeping his reproduction organ is because his wife, Nancy Beatie, 49, who had two children from a previous marriage was no longer able to get pregnant following a hysterectomy.

Open system32 folder
Open folder KB905474 (If you can’t see this folder, go to Tools –> Folder Options –> View —> Show hidden files and folders— click OK

Remember to remove everything in folder KB905474 and after that restart your computer. This should totally remove the windows genuine advantage notification pop up message in Windows XP.

Can’t buy me love lyrics by The Beatles says it all. This machine wants no money but LOVE!

Would you hug a coca-cola vending machine in return for a free Coke? I’ll definitely do that!. Recently, Singapore’s “Coca-cola Hug Machine” is the latest campaign to put a smile for those who are bold enough to hug the machine and rewarded with cola drink in return. It’s a marketing campaign with advertising firm Ogilvy & Mather, according to a news release.

“Whether you were hugging the machine or experiencing the event online, our goal was the same – to put a smile on your face and share that emotional connection,” Coca-Cola Company spokesman Leonardo O’Grady said in the release.

“Reactions were amazing… people really had fun with it and at one point we had four to five people hugging the machine at the same time as well as each other!”

With the great respond of Coca-cola Hug Machine in Singapore, there are now planning to roll it out to introduce more Hug Machines in locations across Asia.

15 year old victoria wants a baby

At the age of 15 years old, Victoria Thompson unlike any other young girls at her age wants a baby so badly that she don’t even mind having to sleep with 100 men. She appeared on an episode of Maury featuring in the “I’m in the 9th grade… You can’t stop me from having a baby!” episode.

Vertical fashion show at Revere Hotel Boston Common

The new Revere Hotel Boston Common, which is in the building that used to be the Radisson, launched it’s grand opening on Wednesday night with a theme “Vertical Fashion Show”.

Climbers from Boston Rock Gym posed as models came walking down the hotel’s 24 storey building, showing their stylist gear of the hotel staff.

Designs of their staff uniforms displayed int his astonishing fashion show were inspired by the Spring/Summer 2012 collection of famous British Designer label Ted Baker London as well as partnership with students of Massachusetts
College of Art and Design.

Spectators were provided with binoculars to view from below to see the models who were closer to the 24th floor.

In 2007 Amber Hawk Swanson produced a life size doll in her own image for their collaborative art project. In the feminist art project “To Have, To Hold and To Violate” they have performed all the ritual of weddings. At the wedding (performance) not everything went as planed. Amber saw her new partner being violated, as the queer wedding guests wanted to know what the virgina of the perfect lifesize Barbie doll looked like?

Amber had Amber doll made at a point in her life where she was single and really wanted a girlfriend and the art project made her explore all sorts of emotions.
In a video interviews she says: “I now think of her as a reminder of what I am now. It is hard to have her next to me sometimes. [...] I feel like that the whole process has opened me up to this amazing relationship, which I am in.”
