Asianovela Marathon

Since the summer started I don't have anything to do aside from eating, sleeping, eating and sleeping so to ease my boredom I watched asianovelas NONSTOP! You might notice that I have a lot of "I Recommend" post. Well, that's the result of my boredom. hahaha

You might be wondering where I watched those movies/series I recommended. Well, I used google so don't ask me where. Just copy and paste the title in the search engine then wahlah! You'll find what you want. I actually found 3 streaming sites but i will not tell you. bwahahahaha....

I Recommend: Romantic Island

Romantic Island has a very realistic plot. It talks about 3 different stories and Eugene Kim's role, one of my favorite korean actress, is a famous singer who got exhausted from her busy career and wanted to escape for a while so she went to Bora. I can somehow relate to the movie because they shoot the movie in the Philippines. I can't believe they choose Philippines. lolz. After watching the movie I can conclude that koreans are really good because they manage to give justice to the beauty of my country which movies produced by filipinos can't accomplish. Here's the plot for you to understand what I' am talking here.

PLOT
A poor but vivacious lady, Soo-Jin (Su-kyeong Lee) takes a vacation to an exotic island for the first time, totally free from work and her family. A rich but cold-hearted gentleman, Jae-Hyuk (Seon-gyun Lee), secretly visits the island for his estranged fathers funeral. Jae-Hyuk bumps into Soo-Jin at a hotel and attracted by her lively spirit, Jae-Hyuk asks her to be his tour guide during his stay on the island.

A famous idol star, Ga-Young (Eugene), is stressed out from her hard schedules and takes an impulsive vacation. A hopeless clerk, Jung-Hwan (Min-gi Lee), gets a free ticket to the island from his friend. Spoiled, Ga-Young sees Jung-Hwan standing alone at the airport and asks him to carry her bag and to take her to the hotel. Mr. nice guy, Jung-Hwan cant turn her down and he becomes her companion to the island.

A father and husband, Joong-Sik and his wife, Yoon-Suk, take their very first trip abroad to the island. In the romantic island, Joong-Sik tries to make his wife the perfect vacation, presenting an unforgettable memory with him for the last time.

Most of you probably knew already about this incident happened weeks ago. The blogging community aired their sympathy to the poor victim and expressed their anger and dissapointment to Boyet. Me too, I really hate what he did. I don't think I still need to explain further why it's wrong because just by watching it on youtube anyone can directly say that its wrong weither with or without audio!

I've seen this boycott campaign about his infamous clothing line and I hope you would participate too.

With such disrespect, discrimination and humiliation towards a good worker, a less fortunate person and a fellow Filipino…

1. We are calling all citizens to stop patronizing Boyet Fajardo’s RTW labels such as Substance in SM department stores, Boyet Fajardo and Initials in Landmark and Robinson’s department stores.
2. We are calling on all malls to pull out or stop distributing his products in your outlets.
4. We are calling on the Commission on Human Rights, Department of Labor and Employment and all human rights and labor activists to take appropriate legal actions on this matter.
5. We are calling all foreign embassies to deny him of entry to your respective countries.
6. We are calling on the Fashion Designers Association of the Philippines to dishonor him of his membership and profession.

…To give him a lesson and to help us stop him from victimizing the underprivileged over and over and over again.

Island Hopping! Feel The Breeze!

In my HRM 15 Class a tour was organized by one of my classmate with my teacher's instructions and it served as our finals. Ofcourse I would choose that over a written test. Whobody doesn't? hehehe

Our first stop over was the airport. We had a tour in its entire vicinity including the privaterooms.

After that, we then started the island hopping.

During this time I was washing my hands and I was very careful not to get wait coz I didn't planned to go swimming.

Before eating we had a quick cam whoring.

This was during lunch. We were very satisfied with the food. I was very full that time.

All in all we literally hop one island but we pass by on 5 islands. We just decided not too hop in coz the time was limited.

March is HRM-Tourism Month

This month is HRM-Tourism Month and the hightlights was a pageant produced by the tourism students and an exhibit.

These were the contestants. The one in color red won the pageant.

Mr. and MS. HRM-TOURISM 2009

Once in every school year Mr. and Ms. HRM-Tourism Pageant is held and this month a new Mr. and Ms. HRM-Tourism was announced. The event happened in Montebello Hotel

When I arrived some guest were already there.

The food were all set.

After 1 century the seats were already filled and before we died in hunger the dinner had started and I must say

the foods were not tasty at all! But still I managed to eat as plenty as that on my plate.

Code Blue is one of the most touching series that I've ever seen. From start to end the story were filled with heart breaking scenes. I've never imagine that the work of a doctor is that hard. I had concluded after watching this series that taking Hotel and Restaurant Management was indeed the best choice I made. My internal organs were rambling everytime I see them slicing stomach of patients. hehehe.

SYNOPSIS
If it can be treated one second earlier, the heart might start beating again.
If there is one extra helicopter, another life in danger may be saved.
If one more life can be saved, the Japanese medical community may regain trust.
There are more lives in this country that can be saved.

HRM 8 Class at Tambuli Resort

After checking out in the hotel we had a quick stop over in a laundry service and had a brief lecture about their services and equipments then we went to Tambuli Resort and this was the last in our schedule.

While going to our area a banner welcome us.

This was my lunch. The "calamares" fried squid was really hard to swallow.

The tour was fun and we learned a lot.

Some enjoyed it and..

some did not. hahaha.

During our stay in Crown Regecny we don't have anything to do that night aside from cam whoring so without consent from our instructor we went out to eat. My classmate brought us in Albertos and that was my first time coming there.

A One Night Stay at Crown Regency

Last Month we had a tour in my HRM 6 Class (Housekeeping). It was a 1 night and 1day tour. We stayed in Crown Regency Guadalupe.

I don't have anything to do that night because I can't enjoy and have fun with them in the swimming pool because if I'll remove my shirt probably they will run away from me. lolz. so my vanity syndrome strikes again!

After 1 week since vacation has started you might be wondering what am I doing. To answer your question I've been doing an asianovela arathon. hehehe. And I've just finished watching Hot Shots. I love Romantic Comedy type of series but I also like comedy-achievement-fight-fantasy series such as Hot Shot. The ending was not that good because I expected it will end more on romance but I've already prepared myself though but it still dissapointing why "W" died and have that disease in the first place.

Synopsis:
In a school where academic reigns supreme and sports are relegated to a dusty corner of the campus, Li Ying vows to revive the basketball team by volunteering to be the head coach. Her first member is Yuan Da Ying, a country boy who is passionate for basketball but has no skill. Their recruitment goes into high gear when Dong Fang Xiang, a legendary basketball player, transfers to their school.

Ri, You Will Become A...

2 things first before I'll start.

First, I' am back. Thanks for those who still visit my blog even though I haven't posted since last week or last month.

Second, The reason that I do not regularly post here is because I' am to lazy to post picture"s" that's why I'll just post that image above if I don't have pictures in my posts. I have plenty of things to share even before but it was not publish because of "pictures issue". huhuhu

Going to the topic, today we had a culminating activity in my World Literature class and we were divided into groups to perform a play for each group and it ended successfuly because we are exempted in our final exams and I must say that my group did the best drama. I can prove that. hehehe. After the plays ofcourse our teacher shared her comments and on my part she said that I will become a good director someday (I was the leader of the group). After I heard that my prom night memories flash back. During that time my classmate who talked about the things that what they are expecting from us to be or to happen in the future and mine was I will become a good designer someday. I' am really confuse. Am' I really that good? lolz. Seroiusly I have no entention of becoming a director or a fashion designer but if my dreams will not come true I can still have other choices. hehehe. If I become a director or designer someday I should give credit to my teacher and/ or classmate.

Group 3: Valentine Special

After our groups function which is the Raga-Raga Festival the next group had their function 2 days before the actual Valentines Day (Feb 14) The theme was, of course, valentines and the result of the party was just like ours (group 2) but thank God we were still exempted in our HRM 7 lecture and Lab semi final exam. Going back, let me show you the preparation we had and pics from the party proper and after party. Let us start first with the Preparation.

NOTE:
I want to minimize posting pictures in my blog to 10 (maximum) each post and will just post the complete set of pics in my multimedia section because I take a lot of pictures every occasion I' am in to and it's like 100 pictures or more so if I'll put all them here your pc might collapse.

Before we painstakingly placed the french-style-cooked chicken, side dish and java rice in each plate. I was assigned together with a one classmate to do the side dish and after that I was assigned to place them individually to 100+ plates. I must say, it was tiresome. Then after that I still have to make sure that there is no excess gravy, not arrange side dish and other dirt n the plate coz if there are some dis formation and dirt I will have to wipe it with tissue paper. Huh!

In the post evaluation there were some complaining that the party did not start on time opposite to us (group 2) coz we started on time but our program started with disaster brought by me and Edkan. hahahaha. We were definitely nervous that time, well opposite to them coz I think they started the program well.

MV Doulos

We went to Mv Doulos last January with my classmates. At first I was really curious what this Mv Doulos has. When we arrived there I found out that its a bookstore,a moving book store to be exact. There were a lot of books in different sizes, form, genre, contents and prices. If I had the money I would not mind buying cooking books but I didn't have that time so it was all for my my eyes only.

The entire ship. Each crew have different nationalities. There were koreans, filipino, british, english and more.

Going to the Library

The Library. I did not take many pictures coz I might be reprimanded. Those are the cook books that I want to have. This ship have traveled almost all parts of the world and it was an honor that they had a stopover here in the Philippines.
