Fujitsu Toshiba Mobile Communications is comiong up with its new launch - the au IS12T, which is supposed to be Japan’s first Windows Phone 7 handset. Most interestingly, the Fujitsu Toshiba au IS12T is the world’s first Mango (Windows Phone 7.5) handset.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service features an awesome screenplay. Most importantly the screenplay sticks closely to the actual novel of Ian Fleming. The technicolor cinematography, locations, music are so perfectly incorporated. The action sequences are highly exciting, which attract the viewers. George Lazenby's serious effort in the movie is really appreciable throughout the play! On Her Majesty's Secret Service is One of the best James Bond series ever created. Although the genius - George Lazenby has made James Bond a little laid-back kind of a character, which actually James is not. This has sometimes made the character of James boring to some viewers. The scenes with the 'hypnotized' women have appeared a bit unrealistic and immature. George Lazenby's acting in scenes of flirting with Rigg have been appreciable, but somewhere George unknowingly exposed his stiffness, which took away the cherry from the cake.

Yet still Golden Gun had featured better stunts on certain few sequences. Very powerful acting by Telly Sevalas (Ernst Stavro Blofeld) and Diane Rigg (Traci Bond) has definitely added spice to the movie. Overall the movie was highly entertaining. But sometimes it was felt that Sean Connery would have been a bit better as Bond.

"BING" - the word has been buzzing the world wide web for quite some time now. The Bing is here now! The newest take on the web by Microsoft is now open to the world since this morning - June 02, 2009, although it was about to go live on Wednesday, June 3, 2009. When the Search Engine giants like Google, yahoo, Altavista is already there in the market, what sets Microsoft's new Search Engine apart? What makes it different from these existing giants. This review on the new search Engine developed by Microsoft will clarify what Bing is all about. I am sure people all over the world got gripped in a bit of confusion to find Bing replacing Live.com. Yes, Live.com is redirecting to Bing.com since morning June 2, 2009.

Since its a new born baby with just a few hours of age, it is not devoid of technical drawbacks. Economic Depression vs Economic Recession

It reminds me of the great economic depression that had been in scene before 1930s. Economic activities had an abrupt downturn. It wasn't until this period that the term economic recession was developed to visualize a difference in economic conditions during 1930s and that during 1910 and 1913. This implies that an economic depression is an economic recession with a prolonged effect, ending up with a bigger downturn of economic activities. It's not the general brain's cup of tea to chalk out a distinction between economic depression and a recession. Best yardstick is to study the GDP. A situation when the economic downturn is due to over 10 percent decline in GDP is a depression. An economic downturn that affects less severely is a recession.

The Business Cycle Dating Committee (BCDC) at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) have come up with more lucid definition of economic recession. BCDC defines a period of recession as a time when business activities reach the highest limit and then starts declining until when business bottoms out. According to them an average recession doesn't last more than a year or so.

It's 50th Birthday of Cat in the Hat! Almost all the children in US are attached to every single words of the Cat in the Hat composed by Dr. Seuss long back. The Cat in the Hat was first published in 1957 that featured a cheerful cat that brought a bountiful harvest of happiness to a houshold of a couple of little children on rainy day, when their mom left them unattended. With some of the Beginner Books that The Cat inaugurated, the creator of Cat in the Hat, Dr Seuss promoted it as a mojor component of elementary literacy all across the United States.

On Saturday, Feb 26th 2009, on Read Across America Day Dr. Seuss’ Birthday Celebration the youth specialist at the Ashtabula Library Barb Tack, put together a costume that focused the kids on the story at Ashtabula Towne Square. Ashtabula Towne Square was waved by an insane mob of chuildren and adults. Debbie Tressler, an instructor with the Adult Basic Literacy Education Coalition said: “I can’t believe how many people came”. Even today when the world is run by mouse clicks and key strokes, Cat in the Hat still have a sensational effect in the market in USA. Tressler and her partner, Kathy found their bookstore at Kent State University-Ashtabula Campus being swamped with over 160 children. Kathy said, “Kids are getting to read early. You can tell they are excited”. Becky Wayman, program coordinator/recruiter for the Ashtabula County Adult Basic and Literacy Education Coalition, said that she had increased her publicity for that event and it paid off! This time it was a bit different, with fliers posted at the local elementary schools. Around 100 children, between kindergarten and grade fourth, got a free book each. The event had been sponsored by the Ashtabula County Literacy Coalition.
