We have all been told that the worldwide Occupy movement is about economic equality and social justice. We have watched the massive protests, the 99% signs and heard the speeches crying out for government intervention in the financial market. Thirty-three percent of America supports the occupy movement, but many more have been suspicious of the movements connection to socialist organizations. Yet, the establishment media, and political leaders whitewash the radical actions and affiliations of the occupy movement and declare it a grassroots response to economic conditions.

The longer the movement last, the more we can see its true face as it reveals itself by its words, actions and those it chooses to affiliates with. While the movement economically aligns itself with socialist ideology, it now takes on another character associated with a communist or socialist agenda and that is an anti-religious, and in particular an anti-Christian hatred. The largest target of the movements anti-Christian hatred being the Catholic church.

UPDATE: The following Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works hearings have been postponed due to inclement weather this week:

- The Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, Subcommittee on Water and Wildlife, will hold a hearing entitled, "Collaborative Solutions to Wildlife and Habitat Management."

Despite citizen protest our government continues with plans to give us a climate change bill. Even the revelation of scandal among global warming scientist could not stop progressive lawmakers and their agenda.

Perhaps the government will now get the hint when their global warming meeting was postponed by two massive, record breaking, snow storms. Then again a lot has been invested and many like former Vice President Al Gore have a lot to gain if global warming legislation is passed.

Just follow the money trail and you will see the real reason our president, senators, congress, and yes former political leaders are pushing for climate change policy. Even scientist stand to win with research grants and published works a climate change law is passed. Yes America, it is all about greed, and even a snow storm may not stand in the way of greedy men and women.

What Is The Symbol Of An American President Bowing To A Saudi King ?

The White House has clearly denied that President Obama bowed to King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia. However, every video and photo makes it very clear that Obama did bow before the king.

Even an Arab daily newspaper Asharq Alawsat has reported that Obama bowed to respect the king.

Here is a quote from the report from the Arab daily:

"Obama lived part of his childhood in Indonesia and in his meeting with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques attempted to evoke this. For bowing is an expression of affection in Indonesian culture and in East Asia in general. And so Obama wished to demonstrate his respect and appreciation of the personality of King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, who has made one of the most important calls in the modern era, namely the call for inter-faith and inter-cultural dialogue to defuse the hatred, conflict and wars. An Obama aide who spoke to Ben Smith of Politico, refuted the charge that it was an bow:"It wasn't a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he's taller than King Abdullah."

Despite the photos, video, and Arab media that all confirm that Obama bowed before the king, why is the White House denying the incident happened?

Why does the White House have to lie to us? It's a COVER-UP! The White House is doing damage control for the presidents lack of foreign experience.

Obama is out of his league on the world scene. He lacks the experience and knowledge of international issues, and protocol. This lack of knowledge is much more dangerous than a simple bow.

Perhaps his officials in the State Department should of told the president that the Saudi King outlawed bowing before him. This was reported by the Los Angeles Times on September 12, 2005:

"Kissing hands is alien to our values and morals, and is not accepted by free and noble souls," Abdullah told a delegation from Baha, in southwest Saudi Arabia, which came to the royal palace to offer congratulations on his accession. "It also leads to bowing, which is a violation of God's law. The faithful bow to no one but God."

Yet, our president in his ignorance bows before the king. Our president is sending a message of weakness, lack of skills, and lack of knowledge before the world.

Even the current situation with an American vessel being attacked by Muslim terrorist "pirates". A U.S. vessel has not had this happen in over 200 years, and under this administration, we have gone days without action, despite the fact a U.S. naval ship is standing by. Again, another sign of weakness from the Obama administration.

God help us until 2012!!

663,000 Jobs Lost In March

we now have a national unemployment rate of 8.5%, after a reported 663,000 job loss in March. After massive amounts of government money has been spent to stimulate our economy, we are still seeing the loss of jobs. This is the highest rate of unemployment in 26 years, and the longest period of recession.

Perhaps we can now see that government controls, and central planning of our economy, is not the answer. We can't solve problems from academic or political theory, but by allowing the markets to work itself out.

When will we learn that failure in business is not a bad thing? From failure we see a renewed and streamlined business model, that is primed for the future. When government gets involved we have an economic system that is political and not supported by what the consumer wants.

Former Judge Napolitano tells his account of a bank officer who was threatened by the government:

“This person runs a bank that’s worth about $250 billion, it has no subprime loans, it has no bad debts, wasn’t involved in credit default swaps,” Napolitano said. “It didn’t need any money. It didn’t ask for the money and didn’t want it. The FDIC with Treasury backing – officials from both the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Treasury said if you don't take this money, we will conduct a multi-year public audit of you.” Full Story

Why Is Obama Missing In Action (MIA) in North Dakota?

North Dakota is suffering great loss due to flooding. The entire state is under a flood watch, and the river has risen to over 100 year levels.

Estimates say waters may rise to even higher levels of 43 feet or more in the next few days. Some 1,000 residents near Bismarck were evacuated on the 24th, because of flooding of the Missouri River, according to a CNN report. Officials are worried it could crest in Fargo, which has more than 99,000 residents.

This incident is fast becoming a Katrina type tragedy, with threats of levy breakage, with months before the water is expected to lower. Many are now homeless, and need our help and prayers.

President Obama, has not yet visited the area on ground or even by air. Instead he looked at photos to declare the area a national emergency. His only statement is that the flooding proves Global warming is a reality.

We all know that criticism was piled on President Bush for his lack of action and concern. Yet, no criticism has been made to President Obama for doing nothing but making the tragedy a political issue for climate change.

Senator Conrad of north Dakota, made a statement on behalf of the president:

“When you’re in the middle of the fight, that’s not the time to come,” Conrad said. “We need to have all hands on deck to fight this flood, and when a president comes in, that can be a big distraction in the middle of the crisis. It’s better before or after.”

Something that could grow to over 100,000 American people being impacted by a tragedy, I would think deserves a personal vist of a president. However, Obama is currently MIA since he feels he has bigger issues such as: Appearing on Jay Leno, 60 Minutes, doing webcasts, and taking control of private business.

April 2, 2009 G-20 Meeting Could Launch Global Currency

April 2, will be a key date to keep your eyes and ears wide open. The G-20 meeting scheduled for that date, may turn out to be a Bretton Woods Part II. The first Bretton Woods took place in 1944, when about 44 delegations held a meeting to discuss the design of a world currency, banking system, and trade organizations.

President Obama and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geither are scheduled to attend the G-20 meeting in London, on April 2nd, to discuss the world economic crisis.

The G-20 is a group of finance ministers and central bank governors from 20 economies: 19 of the world's largest national economies, plus the European Union (EU). China, which will attend the meeting has already set the tone by introducing the idea of a global currency to replace the dollar.

In March 2009, Zhou Xiaochuan, Governor of the People's Bank of China, gave a speech entitled Reform the International Monetary System, in which he argued that the ongoing financial crisis was made more severe by inherent weaknesses of the current international monetary system and called for a gradual move towards using International Monetary Fund (IMF) Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) as a centrally managed global currency.

He argued that this would address the inadequacies of using a national currency, particularly in dealing with the Triffin dilemma - the dilemma faced by issuing countries in trying to simultaneously achieve their domestic monetary policy goals and meet other countries' demand for reserve currency.

Zhou argued that it was regrettable that John Maynard Keynes's "farsighted" Bancor proposal was not adopted at Bretton Woods in the 1940s.

The BANCOR and the UNITAS where two proposals for a global currency. The ideas failed and instead the dollar was used as a global standard, which was at the time backed by gold.

Obama To Change The Name Of The War on Terror To A kinder Gentle Term

A kinder gentle Obama administration that fears they may offend elements of exstremist organization has decided to kill the term: "Global War On Terror". This term for the United States military response for 9/11 was declared on Sep 20, 2001 by former President George W. Bush.

The new phrase for our military actions overseas is: "Overseas Contingency Operations" and the administration also killed the term "Enemy Combatant", which may be viewed as to harsh by the Obama administration.

Critics of the war have pleaded with the Obama administration to abandon the use of "Global War on Terror" because they say it mischaracterizes the nature of the enemy.

When asked about the "war on terror" phrase by CNN's Anderson Cooper, Obama said, "Well you know, I think it is very important for us to recognize that we have a battle or a war against some terrorist organizations … Words matter in this situation because one of the ways we're going to win this struggle is through the battle of hearts and minds."

What does this mean: "Some terrorist organizations"?

Does our president think some terrorist are better then other terrorist groups?

Do we think radical muslim cults and political activist can be persuaded to give up their beliefs, becuase we are a kind and gentle nation?

What will be next? Perhaps money to terrorist groups for humanitarian missions, that will eventually get converted to weapons to kill more Americans.

I have to give 5 stars to the performance of this Congresswoman. very few of our elected officials are defending our constitutional rights, even on the republican side of the house. However, one congresswoman is standing up for your rights and protecting your liberty.

That woman is Michele Bachmann, congresswoman from Minnesota 6th congressional district. She is not afraid to ask the questions or voice the opposition that is needed to stand up to those who are seeking to grab more power and offering us all less constitutional rights.

This one congresswoman deserves our respect and admiration for her hard work in defense of our rights.

The Treasury Secretary Wants More Power To Takeover Companies

WASHINGTON – Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner called on Congress to grant him new powers to regulate huge financial companies like insurance giant AIG, whose failure would pose a grave danger to the U.S. financial system and the broader economy.

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, appearing with Geithner, agreed. He said the government's bailout of troubled insurance giant American International Group Inc. underscores the urgent need to safely wind down financial giants on the verge of collapse and subject them to much stronger regulatory oversight.

The powers being sought by Geithner would allow the treasury secretary to set up a conservatorship or receivership (government takeover) for a failing financial company. The government would have the power to take control of the firm and sell or transfer parts of it to reduce its risky position.

The secretary also would be allowed to make loans, buy assets, guarantee loans and make equity stakes to help stabilize the company. Importantly, Geithner said the government would have the power to "renegotiate or repudiate" a company's contracts, including those with its employees.

The Following is a March 24, 2009 statement from the Department of The Treasury:

"The Administration proposes legislation to give the U.S. government the same basic set of tools for addressing financial distress at non-banks as it has in the bank context.

The proposed resolution authority would allow the government to provide financial assistance to make loans to an institution, purchase its obligations or assets, assume or guarantee its liabilities, and purchase an equity interest.

The U.S. government as a conservator or receiver would have additional powers to sell or transfer the assets or liabilities of the institution in question, renegotiate or repudiate the institution's contracts (including with its employees), and prevent certain financial contracts with the institution from being terminated on account of the conservatorship or receivership.

This proposed legislation would fill a significant void in the current financial services regulatory structure with respect to non-bank financial institutions. Implementation would be modeled on the resolution authority that the FDIC has under current law with respect to banks."

The government currently has the power to seize banks, but now the government wants the power to seize other types of companies. The bottom line is government is growing on a daily basis and taking control of every area of our economy.

We will eventually have an economy that is centrally controlled by politicians in Washington. The free market will no longer decide trends, or profits, or the value of your money. We will now base our future profits, and investments on what political party has control of government.

H.R. 1586: To impose an additional tax on bonuses received from certain TARP recipients

The following republicans voted YES or Did Not Vote on H.R. 1586. What happened to the Republican Party? I thought the Republicans are supposed to be the defender of liberty, justice and the Constitution of The United States?

This bill is not only unconstitutional but it's also CYA (Cover Your Ass) for the democratic leadership. They needed this bill to make good on their mistake for inserting the stimulus package amendment that allowed AIG to payout the bonus, thanks to Sen. Dodd (D) of Conn.

Does Congress Have Any Idea What The Constitution Is All About?

Despite how we feel about the AIG contracts, Congress cannot ignore the Constitution, and take actions or exercise power that has been limited by that sacred document.

I tend to think most of the members of Congress act on ignorance and have never taken the time to read the Constitution. We should all hope my assumption is true, because the alternative would mean members of Congress do understand the Constitution, but refuse to support and defend the principles of that document.

This is what your representatives just voted for:

H.R. 1586

Here are some of the quotes directly from this un-constitution legislation that the House of Rep. just passed:

SECTION 1. BONUSES RECEIVED FROM CERTAIN TARP RECIPIENTS.

(a) IN GENERAL.—In the case of an employee or former employee of a covered TARP recipient*, the tax imposed by chapter 1 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 for any taxable year shall not be less than the sum of— 90 percent of the TARP bonus received by the taxpayer during such taxable year. *Congress is punishing a single group of employees which makes this a bill of attainder

EFFECTIVE DATE.—This section shall apply to disqualified bonus payments received after December 31, 2008, in taxable years ending after such date. * The bonus contracts where allowed by law thanks, to Sen. Dodd, and now congress wants to go back "ex post fact" and make the contracts illegal.

this is the Dodd amendment:

From page H1412 of the Final Stimulus Bill, “SEC. 111. EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION AND CORPORATE GOVERNANCE:

'(iii) The prohibition required under clause (i) shall not be construed to prohibit any bonus payment required to be paid pursuant to a written employment contract executed on or before February 11, 2009, as such valid employment contracts are determined by the Secretary or the designee of the Secretary.”

This amendment provides an exception for contractually obligated bonuses agreed on before Feb. 11, 2009, which exempts the very AIG bonuses.

Here is what your Constitution says:

"No bill of attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed. " (Article 1, section 9: The Limits Of Congress.)

Definition of bill of attainder:
A legislative act that singles out an individual or group for punishment without a trial.

Definition of ex post facto law:
Ex post facto is a Latin term meaning "from a thing done afterward." Ex post facto often refers to a law that applies retroactively, thereby criminalizing conduct that was legal when originally performed. The U.S. Constitution prohibits ex post facto laws.

One of our founding fathers had this to say about the evils of bills of attainder or ex post facto laws:

"Bills of attainder, ex post facto laws, and laws impairing the obligations of contracts, are contrary to the first principles of the social compact, and to every principle of sound legislation. ... The sober people of America are weary of the fluctuating policy which has directed the public councils. They have seen with regret and indignation that sudden changes and legislative interferences, in cases affecting personal rights, become jobs in the hands of enterprising and influential speculators, and snares to the more-industrious and less-informed part of the community." James Madison, Federalist Number 44, 1788.

You may be saying big deal these greedy pigs deserve what they get. However, if Congress can ignore the Constitution on this issue, what else will they ignore?

--What happens if you sold your home in February under a legal contract, and then in March, Congress decides your making too much on the sale so decides to make a new law to tax your proceeds from the sale at 90%, would that be fair?

-- What if you bought a brand new SUV in January and in March Congress decides that you need to be penalized for buying that gas guzzler, and they vote for a new 20% federal sales tax on all SUV sales, would that be fair?

You see if we the people allow HR 1586 to go unchecked than this will be the start of the destruction of our Constitution.
