Ah, my lovely people, how I have missed you!

I probably should have put a 'gone fishing' sign up but since I was neither fishing nor gone, that would have been a lie. Unfortunately, I have been suffering with severe nausea and vomiting - some may know what that indicates - and have amazingly not felt like blogging at all. The only things that have kept me sane have been Farmville, books and reading your lovely blogs. So thank you for getting me through!

Its amazing how something the size of a grain of rice can make me feel as sick as I do. Its only early days and I know the 'time to tell people' is usually 12 weeks but really, who are ya chickas gonna tell?! :) So there you have it, this 20-something is "up the duff", has a "bun in the oven", is "with child" (seriously, who came UP with these descriptions?!).

Well, where do I start?

As of late, I have been reminded again & again that I need to put my trust fully in the Lord, even if I may not like where He is leading me

This week has been a pretty horrendous one with mistakes galore at work, tiredness around every corner and many more tidbits. So I have decided to fall back on blogthings because, well, I KNOW you understand!

Aah, Andrea is a God-send, seriously! Here I was, second week in a row, wondering what I was going to be random about today and coming up seriously short (how IS that?!), and she gives me some questions to answer! What a girl!

1. Okay Lovelies, straight up - how do you take your coffee? White with a flat one (read: Milk with a 3/4 teaspoon of sugar)

2. Shoes or chocolate? Now, don't get me wrong - I like myself a pair of shoes - but who can go past chocolate in the supermarket?! I bet no one!

3. I need some new music for my iPod - who do you love to listen to and what is your favorite song by them? You would think that this question is easy to answer, but really, its not! Its a pretty loaded question! Okay, at the moment, I'm in the mood for Sarah McLachlan and my favourite is When She Loved Me - GORGEOUS!

4. You look fabulous - how do you do it? Body Shop makeup - I swear by it! :)

5. Lastly, what's your favorite thing about fall? For starters, we call it Autumn in little 'ole Australia! Not sure why, so don't ask me! I think you people over on the other side have a bit more sense, cos leaves fall... right? Anyway, the colours, I love the colours! And the fact that I can wear my jeans & long sleeves without peole thinking I'm crazy (cos I wear them in summer too)!

Sometimes randomness can be hard! Would you believe that I am struggling to find anything random to talk about today? The scary thing is, I can't even find anything slightly non-random either!! I don't really want to take another trip to Blogthings but I might have to! Since I am a freak of all things stationary, pray tell, what kind of office supply am I??

Well, I have to admit, today was full of nothing but frustrations galore. Work, well, needless to say that if I had the gumption to 'chuck a sickie' tomorrow, I would. But I can't lie to save myself (which is a GOOD thing!), so I'll be going. Anyway, on my search for all verses dealing with frustration, the above is the one that stuck out to me the most. I can complain & gripe & growl at everything in my path but rest easy knowing that God has it all under control... what a relief! Here's ~~hoping~~ praying that tomorrow will be better!

Well my lovely chickas (if I may be so bold as to call you that AND assuming that there are no males reading this), spring is officially 10 days away and I am officially excited to hear that! Being my favourite season for multiple reasons (read: birthday, beautiful days, starting to warm up, Christmas is only 4 months away etc.), I thought that I would celebrate by doing a blogthing.

So what part of Spring am I? Well...

As many of you know, I attended our church retreat this past weekend (beds, not tents!!). We mainly focused around Colossians, using Louie Giglio's Two Words That Changed Everything. If I may give a plug, go buy this DVD and watch it! It is really fantastic and gives a great perspective of who we are, in Christ. Louie is really easy to listen to as well & has a fun personality!

Oh, what to say for a random Friday?! I have left it a little late as I have 15 minutes of ~~computer time~~ work left before I toddle off home and then off to church retreat. Note, I said 'retreat' because it will hopefully be nothing like camping. I for one, do not like "out-in-the-bush-tents-only-no-showers" sort of camping. Nuh-uh! Picture soft bed, warm sleeping bag, hot water showers, table n chairs.. I'm there!

I have decided to join in on this meme today! Its funny how the busier life seems to get, the faster we forget our favourite things in life that make us who we are! So, my list of things/people that have made me who I am is as follows:

My Saviour - without Him, I am nothing

My parents - without their love & support, who would I turn to for advice (and free acommodation when we travel!)?

Husby - where else will I find someone who cooks for me & puts up with all my junk?!

Brothers - oh, they can be tiresome for sure and we all hardly ever catch up... but they have certainly made me into the girl I am today!!

Music - definitely a part of me that I will never give up!

Reading - has seen me through many a boring time! I love books - turned me into the grammatically correct freak I am today! :)
My blog buddies - wow, so much encouragement and wisdom out there! Definitely favourite people of mine!!

Church family - yet another family who can get under my skin but they love me for who I am and what more could I want!?

My Besties - Always there, always caring, where would I be without them?!
