Beloved eBook by Witzsche, Rolf, A. F.

To whom does the salutation "beloved" apply? It applies to all mankind universally! This book of research takes us a hundred years back in time to a New England woman, named Mary Baker Eddy, the renowned discoverer and founder of Christian Science. She created in the late 1800th a vast pedagogical structure, designed for scientific and spiritual development. The structure comprises 144 concepts. She also created a structure of seven concepts to define God, but three of these are not included in the 144, as if she intended the development flow of the entire structure to converge on those three concepts, which are Love, Truth, and Soul. One word comes to mind that summarizes all three, the word that the Apostle John frequently used as a salutation: "beloved." The research book presented here is an excerpt from the major research work, Universal Divine Science - Spiritual Pedagogical, by Rolf A. F. Witzsche. The the part of this large work that focuses on the aspects of the "beloved" are presented separately here for its relevance in our modern world where the universal concept of the "beloved" is fast disappearing from view.

101 Most Powerful Verses in the Bible eBook by Rabey, Steve, Rabey, Lois
Christianity has throughout the ages taught two important truths: God exists, and he constantly communicates his will and his love to his children. Instead of waiting for us to find him, God takes the initiative and reaches out to us. In the Old Testament, he spoke through patriarchs, prophets, and poets. In the New Testament, he spoke through Christ and through Christ's disciples. Whether you call it divine revelation, Holy Scripture, God's Word, or simply the Bible, the message is the same: God cares about us so much that he has given us a book that tells us what he is like and how we can have a loving relationship with him. The 101 Most Powerful Verses in the Bible highlights some of the key Scriptures of the Bible—words that communicate God's sovereignty in clear and compelling ways. There are verses about the beauty of creation and the power of God's glory, verses detailing God's love and his will for our lives, verses granting grace and verses granting courage. All of them will remind readers that we are not alone in this world.

Creating Community eBook by Stanley, Andy
In Creating Community, Andy Stanley and Bill Willits take you on their amazing journey of developing the small group culture at North Point Community Church. They reveal their five key discoveries about what it takes to create a compelling small group ministry. These discoveries have helped connect almost 8,000 people into North Point’s adult small groups.

This is not just another book about community; this is a book about strategy—strategy that builds a small group culture. Creating Community shares clear and simple principles to help people connect into meaningful relationships. The kind God desires for each of us. The kind He uses to change our lives.

Small Groups That Succeed.

Small groups are the key to impacting lives in your church. But a healthy small-group environment—one that fosters meaningful, lasting connections—doesn’t just happen.

So pull up a chair. Let’s talk about how to make it happen.

Bill Willits and bestselling author Andy Stanley share their successful approach, which has resulted in nearly eight thousand adults becoming involved in small groups at North Point Community Church in Atlanta . Simply put, the five principles clearly described here have passed the test.

Put this proven method to work in your ministry and enjoy the tangible results—God’s people doing life TOGETHER.

FRONT FLAP

[Head]:

Small Groups.

Big Change.

“The small-group program at North Point Community Church is not an appendage; it is not a program we tacked on to an existing structure. It is part of our lifestyle. We think groups. We organize groups. We are driven by groups. Creating Community contains our blueprint for success. And I believe it has the potential power to revolutionize your own small-group ministry!” — Andy Stanley

Story Behind the Book

Creating Community flows out of the North Point Community Church story. The message here is not just some new small group program, but reflects a passion lived out and implemented in their church from the very beginning. Even with phenomenal growth, the church has stayed true to its commitment to small groups and has fine-tuned its ministry process into one of the most unique and effective models in churches today. Andy Stanley and Bill Willits have put these successful principles into this new book with the hope and prayer that pastors, churches, and leader with put them into practice.

From the Hardcover edition.

101 Ideas for Making Disciples in Your Youth Group eBook by Julian, C. Kent
As youth workers, we all have our vision-the plan we hope to make real in our ministries-to change the lives of teenagers as we introduce them to Jesus. In 101 Ideas for Making Disciples in Your Youth Group you'll explore the idea of ACTS to create a disciple-making ministry with the elements needed to create an environment necessary to cultivate this mission. ACTS represents everything a missional youth ministry needs to be about: - Adoration-More than an act, this is a lifestyle that is fleshed out in expressions of prayerful dependence, deep gratitude, and expectancy in what God can do. - Community-This is an atmosphere of genuine caring, authentic relationships, and unity based on Christ's love for his Church and the Church's love for one another. - Truth-and-Grace-The basis of everything that is taught and valued, this is a setting where God's Word is the standard and central to belief and behavior. - Serving-and-Sharing-As a way of life, serving involves helping the whole person by ministering to both believers and the lost by meeting their needs, as well as verbally sharing God's message of grace.
Celebration Of Discipline - 25th Anniver eBook by Foster, Richard J.
Incorporates "Richard J. Foster's Study Guide for Celebration of Discipline," a 78-page text only available in print in a standalone edition. Praised by many as the most important contemporary book on Christian spirituality, this enduring guidebook has sold more than one and a quarter million copies. In the twenty years since its publication, Celebration of Discipline has helped over a million seekers discover a richer spiritual life infused with joy, peace, and a deeper understanding of God. For this special twentieth anniversary edition, Richard J. Foster has added an introduction, in which he shares the story of how this beloved and enduring spiritual guidebook came to be. Hailed by many as the best modern book on Christian spirituality, Celebration of Discipline explores the "classic Disciplines," or central spiritual practices, of the Christian faith. Along the way, Foster shows that it is only by and through these practices that the true path to spiritual growth can be found. Dividing the Disciplines into three movements of the Spirit, Foster shows how each of these areas contribute to a balanced spiritual life. The inward Disciplines of meditation, prayer, fasting, and study, offer avenues of personal examination and change. The outward Disciplines of simplicity, solitude, submission, and service, help prepare us to make the world a better place. The corporate Disciplines of confession, worship, guidance, and celebration, bring us nearer to one another and to God. Foster provides a wealth of examples demonstrating how these Disciplines can become part of our daily activities-and how they can help us shed our superficial habits and "bring the abundance of God into our lives." He offers crucial new insights on simplicity, demonstrating how the biblical view of simplicity, properly understood and applied, brings joy and balance to our inward and outward lives and "sets us free to enjoy the provision of God as a gift that can be shared with others."

Cain and Abel at Work eBook by Lange, Gerry
Why is it that often many bright, decent, hardworking people don't do as well as their less talented (and less honest) colleagues? Why do these "bad guys" seem to zoom ahead in life? In other words, why do good things happen to bad people? In the Old Testament story that serves as a springboard for this book, Cain killed his brother, Abel, and got away with it! Despite being banished, Cain still managed to marry, have a family, and build a city. Meanwhile, poor Abel was dead. In their dozens of years working in business and politics, Gerry Lange and Todd Domke have discovered that the Cain and Abel principles haven't disappeared -- especially in today's competitive work environment. Lange and Domke offer an invaluable guide for coping with and combating Cain in the workplace. Cain and Abel at Work teaches how to: Identify the Cains before they target you. Know which coworkers are trustworthy ... and which aren't. Win out over Cains without stooping to their level. This book is filled with real-life case studies that illustrate all too clearly how Cains operate in the real world. If anyone has ever stolen your idea or credit for your work, if they've taken advantage of you in any way, you need this book. Cain and Abel at Work is an office survival guide no well-intentioned Abel should be without.
