· An employee applied for leave as follows:

"Since I have to go to my village to sell my land along with my wife, please sanction me one-week leave."

· Another gem from an employee who was performing his daughter's wedding:
"as I am marrying my daughter, please grant a week's leave.."

· From H.A.L. Administration Dept:
"As my mother-in-law has expired and I am only one responsible for it, please grant me 10 days leave."

· Another employee applied for half day leave as follows:
"Since I've to go to the cremation ground at 10 o-clock and I may not return, please grant me half day casual leave"

· An incident of a leave letter:
"I am suffering from fever, please declare one-day holiday."

"As I am studying in this school I am suffering from headache. I request you to leave me today"

· A candidate's job application:
"This has reference to your advertisement calling for a ' Typist and an Accountant - Male or Female'... As I am both for the past several years and I can handle both with good experience, I am applying for the post.

A popular motivational speaker was entertaining his audience.

He Said: "The best years of my life were spent in the arms of a woman who wasn't my wife!"
The audience was in silence and shock. The speaker added: "And that woman was my mother!"

Laughter and applause.

A week later, a top manager trained by the motivational speaker tried to crack this very effective joke at home. He was a bit foggy after a drink. He said loudly to his wife who was preparing dinner, “The greatest years of my life were spent in the arms of a woman who was not my wife!"

The wife went; "ah!" with shock and rage. Standing there for 20 seconds trying to recall the second half of the joke, the manager finally blurted out "... and I can't remember who she was!"

By the time the manager regained his consciousness, he was on a hospital bed nursing burns from boiling water.

Moral of the story: Don't copy if you can't paste!

These exercises are suggested by an eye doctor.

It is apt for all of us, who spend long hours at our desks, looking at the computer screen.
I Thought I'd share it with you. 20-20-20

Step I: -
After every 20 minutes of looking into the computer screen, turn your head and try to look at any object placed at least 20 feet away. This changes the focal length of your eyes, a must-do for the tired eyes.

Step II: -
Try and blink your eyes for 20 times in succession, to moisten them.

Step III: -
Time permitting of course, one should walk 20 paces after every 20 minutes of sitting in one particular posture. Helps blood circulation for the entire body.

A funny thing happened last day at computer lab.

(Some Intel VGA drivers have a special Key feature
If some one press [Alt+Ctrl+(up/down/right/left)keys] screen rotate
For example if I will press Alt+Ctrl+Down screen will rotate 180 degree.
But we have to enable that feature from driver’s properties.
As default its enable)
Last day I was frustrated by my studies.
Just to refresh my mind I go to Computer Lab and do a basic but “Moron Like Action”.
I rotated all free Monitors to 180 degree and switch off them and sit away at one free PC.
Students were surprised when they on| monitors. They immediately contact Lab administrator although our labs securities are very high but admin don’t get what happened he checked pc and restart them. they are only working in safe mode.
Admin Scan pc for Viruses Then I feel that it’s enough. I go to the admin and pretend to ask him about the matter. He replied an Unknown Virus appear in these PCs.
I sit on one of the workstation and ask Admin to open “Admin login” then I told admin to Disable this VGA feature from VGA properties.

How to hide a folder

In windows Xp I found this method to hide a folder.
I found this method in metacafe. it sounds interesting.

1) rename the folder you want to hide
2) type in name field Alt+255 //see note for this step
3) then hit enter you can see a folder icon with no name.
4) now right click folder go to folder properties >> customize >> change Icon
5) choose icon from 2nd row 13th column.from windows default icons.
note: you must have numpad in your keyboard for typing"225" some laptops/notebooks don't have numpad so this will not work on them.
also u can create many different characters.
