My friends tell me they eat breakfast but it is never one that stops them from needing shots of caffeine later in the day. If you know how to create energy in the morning you won't need caffeine later! Some of them tell me that they would eat breakfast if they had more time. Still others tell me that they don't like eating breakfast at all because it makes them feel weird.

A health balanced Breakfast solves all of these issues...

After thinking about the different philosophies surrounding breakfast I came to these conclusions;

1) People have different different demands placed on them in the morning that heavily influence what type of meals they have, if any.

2) Most of the people I talk to every morning are more capable of listening to advertisements than the advice they get from their own bodies (common sense).

3) Everyone would like to eat better if it really made a difference in their lives.

Not every Breakfast is created equal!

No matter if you are trying to Loose weight, Gain Muscle, or Create Energy eat several meals throughout the day starting with a solid Breakfast!

"...your meals, especially breakfast, must be tailored to your unique body-type in order for your body to achieve an optimum level of performance!"

Breakfast comes in many different forms to fit your individual needs. The challenge is to make sure you are happy with what you are eating while increasing the nutritional density of your meals. That doesn't mean having a food addition to pop-tarts is OK as long as it make you smile! It means, for example, If you enjoy eating with others your meal needs to be not only nutritious but something that can be shared with friends and family. If you are always on the go your breakfast needs to be full of clean energy and stress reducing nutrients but it also has to have the ability to go where you go. Lastly your meals, especially breakfast, must be tailored to your unique body-type in order for your body to achieve an optimum level of performance!

What to eat?

"Experimentation and trial and error are the best methods to use in figuring out what you like and what your limits are. Breakfast is no different!"

OK, first off, I am not the type of person that likes to tell people what to do mainly because I don't like being told what to do. Experimentation and trial and error are the best methods to use in figuring out what you like and what your limits are. Breakfast is no different! With that in mind lets explore some options for Breakfast...

For those that have a social mindset...

"Try starting your day with remixes of traditional favorites."

Cook at home! Cooking at home gives you the freedom to express yourself in ways that that you may not be able to right now. Cooking at home gives you menu omnipotence allowing you to eat what you like when you want it. It is a way to provide tasty, clean, nutritious foods for yourself and others without breaking the bank. It will also allow you to tailor the food(s) to your body type. Nothing can encourage a healthy relationship with food than the admiration and appreciation from your family and friends enjoying the meals you create!

Try starting your day with remixes of traditional favorites. For example: Whole grain organic pancakes topped with lots of fresh cut strawberries (or whatever fruit you love) and honey with organic free-range (ethical) eggs and an organic rainbow side-salad (or fresh cut organic hash browns). If meat is a must try organic Turkey bacon! Turkey bacon can take on any flavor you want. As with any meal drink plenty of water before and after the meal to aid in digestion!

For those always on the go...

"No matter what your plan is add meal replacement supplements to your diet regimen!"

Always having to be somewhere posses a problem, STRESS. Stress is the number one factor in the increase in weight and sickness issues. Solution, EAT BREAKFAST! By making regular eating a priority instead of an exception will force you to organize your day. When you organize your day you will find time to get enough rest at night and during the day as well as times to eat! Having a detailed plan keeps you performing at the top of your game! Most people on the go are that way by choice. They most likely don't care for cooking. Thats OK because there are not a lot of cooked foods that can go with you everywhere and still be enjoyable and nutritious.

For those with a little more time in the morning, learn how to warm up some organic pastas, Rice, and Quinoa. They mix well with anything and are a great source of calories from low glycemic carbs (meaning they give energy without spiking your blood sugar and they won't stick to your more padded areas!). For those with less time I would recommend packing simple meals like organic rainbow salads. Many of these types of meals come pre-packed with everything you need. Look for the addition of nuts, herbs, and legums (beans) in the salad kits!

No matter what your plan is add meal replacement supplements to your diet regimen! Meal replacement shakes can be mixed up and enjoyed wherever you have to be! There is no shortage of shakes and powders in the market place which can be confusing. I'll make it simple, try YOR Health meal replacement (M.R.P.) shakes! I have lost over 90 pounds using their M.R.P. shakes (with proper diet and exercise). Adding YOR M.R.P. shakes to your diet plan increases the nutrient density of your total caloric intake for the day. Increasing nutrient density is the key to keeping bad weight off, creating energy, and achieving optimal performance!

Strength and Honor,

:) CeddeeBear

Are you getting enough Water in your diet?

It seems like a very simple task. Drink plenty of water. But it seems many Americans don't. TV and advertising tells us that we need Caffeine and sugar to start our day more than Water and a healthy breakfast. This information is false. Water is a nutrient just like vitamins and minerals. Water does not contain calories and like vitamins and minerals your body can not function correctly without it!

Starting your day with Water is the quickest and safest way to boost your energy in the morning. Why? To produce energy the body needs water to activate all chemical reactions taking place in the body. Having Optimal amounts of water also aids the digestive tract. Digestion and elimination are the safest ways for the body gets rid of toxic waste. For that reason Detoxification is the second major role Water plays in the body. With a build up of toxins in the body you may experience constipation, fatigue, joint pain, and cramping of the muscles. Inadequate amounts of water has also been link to promoting asthma, allergies, hypertension, high cholesterol levels, mind fog, migraines, and lower back pain!

Optimal water consumption through out the day can help decrease aches and pains and can improve your physical and mental abilities so drink up!

Truthfully,
:)CeddeeBear

since most of the adored bodies in hollywood are emaciated, what if i want to lose weight to an unhealthy extent? what if being healthy hasn't served me well in life? i think most women just want to be skinny, at any cost.

If you want to lose weight to an unhealthy extent I think you have mental health (poor self image and self-esteem) issues that you should address before taking part an any weight management activity.

Being truly healthy can't serve you wrong! I think you meant being overly skinny has served you wrong. The thing is being overly skinny doesn't equal good health. There is a such thing as being under weight. Its actually more dangerous than being slightly overweight!

I think women who want to be skinny at any cost should strive for optimum health instead of looking skinny. I guess I'll go mental. I have, in a way, found my calling in helping people gain access to products and services. I don't just mean retail. I love being the person that hands someone a good book I enjoyed and seeing them enjoy it too! I love educating a group of people on how to manage their waist lines and seeing them help others do the same. What makes me tick? To keep the weight off you must provide your wonderful body with lots of energy in the form of Proteins, Carbohydrates, and Fats. Vitamins, minerals, and enzymes are also needed to ensure proper absorption and utilization of your food! But do not get caught up with all of that.

The most important thing you can do is eat! Breakfast should not be a luxury! Breakfast tells your body that it is time to start burning calories for energy. If you don't add anything to burn the body will burn its self! This doesn't feel good when it becomes chronic. Not eating cause your body to store unused calories as fat so it doesn't have to start breaking down muscle, your muscles, (lean protein) for energy! Eating breakfast and then following up with small meals or snacks every few hours or so is the best way to gain energy and maintain your waistline. Combine that eating regimen with water and a multi-day multi-vitamin to fill in the nutritional gaps if you must to ensure each day is healthier than the last!

:)
-CeddeeBear

Optimizing You with Brian Sullivan

My best friend and business partner Brian Sullivan has decided to add himself to the list of people that blog. He is going with a video blog format which to me is a grand idea. Brian looks to give tips to those who seek help with a wide range of health issues such as weight-loss/gain (muscle building), immune system support, and digestive health. From the production footage I've seen his new blog should be as entertaining as it is informative. You can find his blog videos at www.YORHealthBrian.blogspot.com, on YouTube, or even on <a href="http://www.itunes.com/podcast?id=330918457" target"_blank">iTunes!

P.S. For me it began with increasing my natural energy.

My life, up to last year, was filled with fast food and sugar snacks which meant my life was filled with constant hunger and mid-day crashes. :(

When my best friend presented YOR Health's health products to me I saw an opportunity to change my ways. Being impressed with the effects of CoQ10 I started with their Essential Vitamin and Complete Burn. The effects the multi-vitamin and the burn had on me was huge. The biggest benefits for me are the added focus, weaker food cravings, and lots of natural energy. Next I got to try the Meal Replacement (M.R.P.). I loved mixing the vanilla flavor with different fruit combos. I like to mix things up in the morning!

Everything was going pretty steady until after the companies yearly event in august (2008).

After coming back from Las Vegas my best friend told me about how things would get a lot better.

He told me about new doctors and a new product line of Enzymes. Naturally I was interested as I had had nothing but excellent results with YOR's other products.

Today I don't know how I ever lived without the digestive enzymes, repair, and multi-vitamin. The effects they have on me daily have truly changed my life.

So, my question is where would 'you' start if you had the opportunity to control your overall health, strength, and energy level?

Live Healthy and Strong!
-CeddeeBear

Food News: The Corn Epidemic

Stop eating corn now, its killing you! That may be harder to do than you think. A documentary by mosaic films, King Corn, sees two best friends go on a journey to find out where their food comes from and why they found corn in their hair. After seeing the film I realized that I had no idea about the food I was eating everyday. It seems that just about everything contains large amounts of corn based derivatives. The largest offender by far is High-fructose corn syrup (HFCS)! Its in everything; bread, ketchup, yogurt, soft-drinks, salad dressing, cookies, ect... You name it, HFCS is in it! It is not that corn is bad for you it is that HFCS manufacturers use industrial corn to make a cheap sugar like substance that is very bad for your body (in large consistent amounts; when substituted for nutrients; when used as a preservative). It is cheap because the united states produces to much industrial corn every year. HFCS drives down the price of food by lowering production cost (the quality). It seems as long as the average American consumer spends less on food that tastes sweet no-one cares. This nation wide misconception is leading to many stunning new revelations about our health...

This generation will be the first generation in U.S. history to have an average life span shorter than the previous generation...

All the sugar is causing type 2 diabetes on an epic scale in increasingly younger Americans...

The solution, choose to eat food created by responsible farmers that do not subscribe to the nations unsustainable food model. Take food supplements to fill in the gaps in your nutrition. Drink plenty of water and exercise. I personally look for the organic symbol on products so I know it has not been processed in any unnatural ways. I also make sure to ask questions when I'm at the grocery store. If the grocery clerk doesn't know where it came from its ingredients probably came from a lab. The way the animal lived and what it was fed everyday dramatically effects the end product as well. My favorite place is my local Whole Foods Market. When I shop there I don't have to work so hard because they have done the hard work for me. Plus they care about the environment too.

Good Eating,
-CeddeeBear

CeddeeBear speaks

Hello World!
