Two new official dates have been added to RBA's appearances schedule:

Survival Guide to a Slasher Movie Signing
Artist Joey Rodriguez presents the English version of his comic. The signing will also
be an art and tatoo exhibition.

Kaisen Entertainment Fair will be on Sunday, December 13, at Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Look for RBA's table at section D. We'll bring a bunch of comics including the debut of the Leviathans: Belly of the Beast one-shot special.

It's October 2009 and RBA's Tour Bus is revving up its engine!

We would like to announce the first two official dates for what will be RBA Studios' remaining convention appearances of 2009:

RBA will be accepting pencils, inks, and coloring submissions in Ponce ComiCon and Manga Criolla, so get your portfolios ready. Go to http://www.razorbladeapple.com/ and check out the submissions guidelines in the Studio section.
Writers: we are currently not looking for writing submissions , but if you want to submit your original work, please try to partner up with an artist willing to illustrate your script.

A very Important Annoucement from RBA

Last week, I promised to make a new annoucement that would change things for RBA Studios.

Here goes: RBA welcomes Ricardo Carrion, the new Marketing Director of the studio. Rikky will be in charge of creating and executing short and long term marketing strategies for our comics line. He will also coordinate our business plan while using his experience in marketing and comics field to increase our presence in the US market.

Rikky was selected for this position due to his twelve years of experience in marketing and publicity fields. He has worked as a Marketing and Creative Director, Associate Creative Director , and Art Director. He is currently the VP/Partner at El Tercer Hombre Inc., a company that offers creative, marketing, and events services.

He is also well known for being the promoter of the high quality comics, collector, and multi-media events: Caribbean Sci-fi Odyssey, Pop Culture Expo, PR Comic Con, among others.

And, like most of us, he also loves comics.

Rikky says; “It’s an honor to support and be part of this group of professionals and friends... It’s time to take the next step. Let’s shake things up.”

For AC Osorio, RBA Art Director, the staff, and myself, this is another step for RBA towards becoming a prominent comics publisher, not only locally, but internationally.

Gunbreed Debuts at Metro Comics: The Report!

Wow! Just wow!

The signing at Metro comics was a complete success. Way beyond expectations! AC and I want to thank everyone who passed by. We thank you all for your support and kind words. Hope you enjoy the comic!

For those who couldn't come, don't despair. We will have both cover versions of Gunbreed:Ghost Town Resurrected available at our store in www.razorbladeapple.com, shortly. Metro Comics will also carry the book starting later this week.

On to other news:

Gunbreed Debuts at Metro Comics!

Ladies and gentlemen:

RBA is proud to announce that on Saturday July 18, 2009, at exactly 12:00 pm, the oneshot special comic Gunbreed: Ghost Town Resurrected will debut at Metro Comics, in San Patricio Plaza, Guaynabo, PR.

Artist AC_Osorio, and myself will be there to sign copies of the comic along with studio members Ivonne Falcon and Diego Steffens.

The comic will feature a new official origin story for Sheriff William "Powder" Cain in a supernatural western drama.

It's June 26 and AC and I are excited to finally show you the new version of RBA's website! Please take a moment to explore the site and discover our new features. Where to begin? Let me give you a quick tour:

a. Registration: Add your email and receive our newsletter with the latest news and updates,b. Store: No matter where you are in the United States, you can purchase our comics through the website store. This service is provided by our good friends in Indy Planet. Choose from all our comic titles and purchase exclusive limited edition covers from our selection. You can also choose the delivery service of your preference. Right now, you can buy RBA Presents 1 thru 3 and Leviathans #1 covers a and

b. On June 30 you will be able to purchase the oneshot comic Gunbreed: Ghost Town Resurrected and Leviathans #2 follows up in July.

c. Interviews/Reviews provides information on our new projects from the creators' perspective. Read online interviews and reviews on each of our spotlighted comics.

d. Comics section provides a description on each series or specials by RBA. It lists the creative team and cover art for each issue.

e. The Videos section includes videos related to RBA Studios including all archive chapters of our video blog show, and upcoming animations from our studio artists.

f. The Free Online Comics section now runs with the Flash Page Flip program, that allows a comic viewing experience pretty close to having the comic in your hands.

More features will be added in the coming months, including a very cool secret section that we can't speak of yet, but stay tuned to be the first to know about it.

A few reminders:

Gunbreed: Ghost Town Resurrected debuts on June 30. PR and the United States customers will be able to buy the comic online from the Store section of razorbladeapple.com.

Gunbreed is a supernatural western about a Sheriff who witnesses the death of his son and his town at the hands of a criminal gang that practices black magic. Powder Cain comes back from the dead to get his revenge. The oneshot is written by myself with art by AC Osorio and letters by Carlos Mangual.

Don't forget that Carlos Mangual and Maite Acosta will be selling RBA comics at the Orlando Mini Megacon. Here's the info:

That's all that AC, Ivonne, and I can say! PR ComiCon was a major success and huge eye opener for us! The Gunbreed/Violet Descends flipbook that we debuted at the convention SOLD OUT! And we almost sold out of all our other comics, too!

Our heartfelt thanks to Ricardo Carrion, the convention organizer, and to all of you that passed by our table on Saturday and/or Sunday!
