We are at smokey bones and Taylor grandma and pa Ornelas. It is packed! We had to wait for a half an hour at the bar and I gave my mom my iPad to play with. The first thing she said is she could not play farmville! There is so much more to Facebook and other things on the internet rather than stupid farmville. Our wonderful friend jon jon gave us extra point on our card while we where waiting at the bar drinking beer wait for our table. The boys kept Oscar and Mom busy In the Aztez in the handicap front parking spot. We where watching the boys and drinking suds. Doesn't that just sound like a wonderful saturday night in Lansing Michigan.

After dinner we came back to the house and watched some great shows on the big TV while the house was moving with action. JR and Rich from ann arbor showed up then three other of Rich and JR friends showed up too. Chad the handsome man friend of JR showed up separately and brought a bottle for the under age drinkers and us that know bettter but still drink anyways.
Party In the kitchen,party in the living room and party up on the third floor. party party all night long. Ended the night laughing at MR Bean the ole school one. It was a happy loving Saturday!

Sunday is a sleep in day and yes I can sleep in anyway I reLy want , but today was well needed. I woke to the smell of bacon and coffee. I dragged myself up and looked at the cord of my iPhone to see the damage of it. Myles mr kitty like chewing cords and it's a cat! I heard him working on it last night so I pushed the nightstand back and squished him last night. Don't have the heart to tell Myles his cat is back there yet. Maybe after breakfast and a good long shower. No but if I find him will ring that mr kitty neck! Theses cords cost 30 dollars. I sang Taylor happy official birthday to day and hand a great breakfast. Taylor and me on his 20th birthday. Dam I can remember when he was just a little squirt.............

Easter 2010
This is my first letter on the iPad. Yep got it today and thought what the heck .

I needed to try my hand out at ,writing something.
Happy Easter all and now charging it and going to bed.

Nighty night. Sweet dreams.

Easter was really great at Barbie and Al's house out in the country of Dimondale Michigan.
Barbie had just got back from Minnesota for a phone seminar that she attends every 3 or 4 years.
Al's birthday is April 3rd so she arrived home and met us all at the bar in Dimondale .
Taylor's phone interview went very well that day and it isn between him and another person.
We have our fingers crossed. The web company is called www.xspond.com and it is in Brighton Michigan.
Taylor got back from his California trip on Monday March 29 th. He and his friend Matt had a great time and I was glad to see them home safe and sound. We all have to experience life everyday, especially when we are young.
Like I always say timing is everything. My timing was really good on Saturday when I walked into the best buys here in lansing.q I had thought I would just go and look at this iPad and low and behold they had triple the shipment in and 18 months intreats free so my life has changed as easy as that. Trust me I HATE to type I would rather speak to you all because I can say it so much faster than I can type.
Dragon dictate for the iPad and iPhone and even the iTouch can now do that for you. That is what I just did for my second blog entry. Yes there is a limitation of paragraphs at a time but you just sometimes can not think and speak longer than that without making a verbal mistake. It is perfect for updating your Facebook or sending a quick text to your text only don't know how to pick up a phone can call friends .This was the first app I downloaded so I could chat with all these people. Next I downloaded a program called Pages. This program is not free but it was only 10 dollars and WoW is it great for transitions from word in office. It is really visual and easy to add photos and move them around text just like you see in this blog. It also saves the document as a PDF ,export out to www.iworks.com or save it as a word document . Also for you Slow typing people like myself, it fixes most words that you can not spell.
Well with the 10 bucks.
I do want to say now that I got the Apple iPad case and the screen protector, I am now ready to let people touch and put there DNA all over this Ipad.
Now for the real reason for buying this iPad . It has HD quality video that plays back so clear that I was simply amazed and in awe at the quality. I had a little trouble getting it synced up with iTunes when I first opened it up on Saturday . My son Taylor gave me my first Apple iTouch at Christmas and I have that synced on the same computer.pAll I had to do is put it on it's own and it synced just fine. My photos in HDR along with music and contacts and mail where the first things I synced and it took an hour to do this. The first 20 minutes was backing up the unit. I recommend to do this first and then disconnect and then sync again to put your movies contacts or whatever you want then. We all want to play with it immediately out it will not load until you sync with iTunes first. For you people out there that rip it open and expect it to work without a iTunes account you just might be disappointed. iTunes is your sync to your Pc or Mac and it saves your apps that you buy ,along with all the other things that you purchase at the iTunes store. Love ,love it so much that all my movies will be converted to Apple format. For all you PC people that say that flash is needed for this and flash is need for that keep using it on your pc. Apple format is so clean and easy that I will be making a website at www.ipadvideolive.com to convert or show you how I convert videos to get the best quality . Give me some time, I just purchased it on Easter Sunday night.
Look for it sometime this summer.

I have to say that after having this iPad for a week it is a pleasure working on this wonderful new machine. I have not shut it off for more than 2 hours since I got it. They have told me that I am now addicted and that there needs to be a Mac intervention. People that are in my life want me to name this iPad because they are calling it my baby. I have decided after this weekend to call it little Ray Ray . There now let's get on to the new things I learned about the iPad this week.
After the apple store adventure last week on Tuesday April 6th, I found out that there are some limitations to this iPad. Right off if you type a word wrong and the library does not know it you have to look it up yourself . Yep there is a pretty good dictionary built in but not a merriam or webster dictionary . They will be adding this in the upgrade in the fall. Like I said last week I type really bad so this would be greatly appreciated.

By the way Taylor was the editor for is video and I think he did a great job for his first fun video for the site.
Talking about Taylor I had mentioned that he is a wonderful web designer and that he had a interview last week. He did get the job and started Wednesday! He is so happy that he gets to keep his car and phone and that he has a full-time job just a week after getting back from California .

This was February 27th 2010 at Kalamazoo Cityscape. This was a new location and It was very nice.
I have been working with Kalamazoo Parks and Recreation for 4 years now photographing there Daddy Daughter Dance.
This is a little video that I put together to show you all the wonderful faces. I just love doing this because the Mom's and Dads just love the photos I capture of their wonderful children.

Fenner Park Project June 2009

This was our First day out on the town learning about where all the fun areas are here in Lansing Michigan.
Scott and Chelsey are going to help me make movies of Fenner park, Cooley Gardens and many of the Concert series here in the Lansing.
We are going to add videos as the days go by so be sure to check back.
We have a wonderful 8 weeks to show you our work and I am sure at some of these will be quite entertaining.
This is a part of the Gateway community summer program to get Young People into real Jobs to intern to see just way happens at a busy Production studio.
